James returned soon, his expression somewhat serious. "Mr. Clinton, Mr. Cox's secretary said Mr. Cox has been very busy lately and doesn't have time to meet with you."

Ten minutes later, knowing that Mark would be dining at Skyview Pavilion Restaurant tonight, Felix immediately had James book a private room.
The entire afternoon, Felix was busy handling documents and matters related to Mandy. Many reporters were waiting at the entrance of the Clinton Group building, planning to interview Felix as soon as he appeared.
Seeing Felix's busyness, Constance felt a bit distressed and walked up to him, saying, "Felix, is there anything I can help you with?"
Felix looked up from his documents and glanced at her, his eyes full of tenderness. "No need, you just rest. I can handle it myself."
"Alright, if there's anything you need help with, just let me know."
"Okay."
Constance sat on the sofa watching Felix handle documents. As she watched, she suddenly felt a bit sleepy and slowly fell asleep leaning on the sofa.
After handling several documents, Felix looked up and saw Constance's sleeping face.
She was leaning on the sofa, her mouth slightly open, her small nostrils gently flaring with her breathing, looking extremely cute.
Felix couldn't help but smile, got up, and gently picked her up.
Constance found a comfortable position in his arms and fell into a deep sleep again.
Carrying her into the lounge, Felix gently placed her on the bed.
As soon as Constance lay on the bed, she found a comfortable position and continued sleeping.
Looking at her sleeping face, Felix's eyes were full of tenderness, and his heart was filled with happiness.
He was very grateful to God for bringing her back to him again, and this time he wouldn't lose her again.
Soon it was evening, and when Constance woke up, it was already dark.

Getting up to wash her face in the bathroom, Constance opened the door and realized she was still in Felix's office. The room she had slept in was behind a hidden door in the office.
Felix was still looking at documents. Hearing the sound, he looked up at her and smiled. "How did you sleep?"
"Not bad. I remember you have to meet Mr. Cox tonight, right? Isn't it almost time?"
Felix put down the documents in his hand, got up, and said, "The timing is just right. Let's go have dinner there. The food at that restaurant is quite good."
"Okay."
Half an hour later, the two walked into Skyview Pavilion Restaurant.
The waiter led them to a private room and handed them a menu to order.
Constance casually ordered a few dishes. She was worried about whether Felix could successfully change Mark's mind, so she didn't feel hungry.
Felix added a few more dishes and said with a smile, "Don't be nervous. Tonight is just a chance to meet Mr. Cox and see his attitude. If the financing really isn't possible, I'll have to think of another way quickly."
"Managing the Clinton Group must be very stressful."
Timothy had Samuel's help managing the Drake Group, and Constance thought they were very hardworking. Felix managing a company alone must be exhausting.
Felix smiled gently and said, "Not at all."
Only if he was strong enough could he protect Constance.
And now in Thundertop, he clearly couldn't protect Constance completely.

The dishes came quickly, and after eating for a while, seeing that Felix wasn't in a hurry at all, Constance couldn't help but say, "Do you know which private room Mr. Cox is in? If we don't go and check, we might miss him."
Felix poured her a glass of water and smiled. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

Felix glanced at Thomas, who was standing next to Mark and smiling silently, and raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Cox, are you collaborating with Vertex Holdings Group?"
Mark said, "No, just having dinner together."
Both were smart people. Felix's smile remained unchanged as he slowly said, "I was planning to invite you for dinner, but your secretary said you were busy. I wonder when you'll be free so I can invite you for a meal."
"I'm going on a business trip soon, so I probably won't have time. When I get back, I'll host and invite both Mr. Clintons for a gathering."
Hearing the rejection in Mark's words, Felix smiled and said, "Then I'll wait for you to return. I have some matters to attend to, so I won't disturb you any longer."
After Felix and Constance left, Mark looked at Thomas and said, "Mr. Clinton, I need to think about the collaboration you mentioned. I'll get back to you once I've made a decision."
"Alright, but collaborating with Vertex Holdings Group will definitely be beneficial for you!" Thomas replied.
Thomas was full of confidence. After all, Vertex Holdings Group's strength was evident, and he didn't believe Mark would miss this opportunity.
Mark squinted and smiled, nodding. "Okay."
After parting with Thomas, Mark called his secretary and said with a smile, "You're fired starting today. Complete the handover procedures tomorrow, and you don't need to come back after that."
