Chapter 108 Pinning Her Down

Margaret's soft lips covered his.

His rationality was being eroded bit by bit by her actions.

In fact, when she got in the car, he could have kicked her out.

But he couldn't bear to.

When he really brought her home and saw her deliberately lowering herself, he inexplicably got angry. He didn't know how to face Margaret.

Margaret's kiss made a strong desire gradually grow in his eyes.

Raymond flipped her over and pinned her down.

His large palm landed on the back of her head, his eyes fixed on Margaret's stunning features. "So eager to make love with me? Margaret, don't regret provoking me; you asked for this!"

Before Margaret could react, he firmly pressed his lips against hers.

She was a bit dazed, how did it turn out like this?

Margaret turned her head, and his kiss landed on her cheek.

Raymond sneered, "What? You don't want to anymore? If you don't want to, then get out!"

"Promise me, we can make love every day. Raymond, you dare? Are you so afraid of being with me, afraid of falling in love with Marlon's daughter?" Margaret retorted.

Her jaw was harshly gripped by his large hand, causing tears to well up in her eyes from the pain.

Tears instantly streamed down on her face.

"Margaret, you seduced me first, don't blame me! From today on, the game of tormenting you truly begins!" Raymond said, then completely covered her lips.

He ravaged her fiercely, starting with a domineering kiss, then biting and gnawing.

Her mouth was filled with the taste of blood.

He was extremely rough and fast, skipping all necessary sweet talk and foreplay.

Margaret looked up, seeing the hatred in his eyes. There was no love in his eyes, only endless hatred and cruelty.

He had a stern face, large beads of sweat dripping from his arms onto her face.

She knew he was venting. He was torturing her, not making love happily.

Margaret was in intense pain. She wanted to rest, but he wouldn't let her. He kept making love tirelessly.

The night dragged on, almost unbearable. She felt like she might die on the bed. Exhausted, she eventually fell asleep. She didn't know when he finished.

Once she slept, he withdrew, got out of bed, and took a shower.

Feeling hungry, he went to the dining room. There were still a few dishes on the table that Margaret had made. He thought she had thrown them away, but they were still there.

He heated them in the microwave and sat at the dining table, eating Margaret's dishes with a blank expression.

He cleaned every plate.

After a year, her cooking seemed to have improved; it was a familiar taste.

The next morning, when Margaret woke up, she found the bed only herself.

She moved her body, feeling sore and painful, as if her body had been disassembled and reassembled, about to fall apart.

She looked around, but Raymond was not in the house. He should have gone to work at the Hughes Group.

She glanced at the dining table; the dishes from last night were gone. He probably found them an eyesore and threw them away.

She smiled bitterly and freshened up.

Suddenly, she felt nauseous and vomited violently, but nothing came out.

She had vomited several times already.

Could she be pregnant?

But during this year, they only made love at the Velvet Lounge.

After the last time's sex, her liver started to hurt. So she went to the hospital to buy painkillers and forgot to take birth control pills.

Margaret felt a bit flustered; she needed to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Walking to the living room, she noticed a sticky note on the fridge. She tore it off and looked at it.

It was Raymond's handwriting. "Report to the Hughes Group when you wake up. Sign the transaction agreement. Before ten in the morning, no exceptions."

Margaret didn't go to the Hughes Group immediately but went to the hospital first.

The doctor, seeing her, thought she had run out of painkillers. She quickly explained, "I suspect I'm pregnant and want to do a check-up."

"You can't get pregnant; you're a terminal cancer patient. Pregnancy will accelerate the deterioration of your condition." The doctor, hearing this, immediately became serious.

Margaret understood the fetus would take away the nutrients from her body.

Her resistance would get worse. And eventually, both she and the fetus would die.

"So I came for a check-up to put my mind at ease." Margaret pursed her lips.

The doctor took it seriously and quickly had her undergo the relevant tests.

After the tests, the doctor inquired about her recent condition and whether the pain had worsened.

She said her liver hadn't hurt recently.

The doctor was pleased, telling her the condition was under control, advising her to stay positive, and giving her four bottles of painkillers.

Margaret tore off the labels from the painkiller bottles and neatly put them in her handbag.

Marlon was also in this hospital, so she went to visit him.

Nancy told her Marlon was recovering well and would definitely wake up by the end of the month.

She was just worried about money.

Margaret comforted her. "Mom, we won't have to worry about money anymore. Raymond will help us from now on."

"Really?" Nancy was a bit surprised.

Margaret nodded. "Really."

"Did you agree to some condition? Margaret, don't do anything foolish."

"Mom, don't overthink it. Raymond is my husband; it's only right for him to help us. Just wait for Dad to wake up. Then we'll be happy together again." Margaret forced a smile, feeling extremely tired, but she had to do it. She couldn't let Nancy worry.

Before dying, if Marlon woke up, she would have fulfilled a wish. So, she had to stay happy and live each day to the fullest.

Margaret checked the time; it was already 9:30 AM. Before leaving, she took out two thousand dollars from her wallet and handed it to Nancy, telling her to take care of herself.

Nancy initially refused. But Margaret insisted, so she had to accept it.

After all, there were many expenses in the hospital.

Margaret arrived at the Hughes Group's president's office at exactly ten o'clock sharp.

Raymond was straightforward, not wasting words, and directly threw a document in her face.

The document hit her face painfully.

Then the document fell in front of her leather shoes.

She picked it up, and above her head, his cold voice sounded. "Sign it if there are no issues!"
