Chapter 618 Can You Save Tomorrow's Bouquet for Me?

Lyric was in shock. "I'm pregnant?"

"Yeah, you fainted, and that's how we found out. It's been two weeks. If Daniel hadn't had that accident, we'd be a family of five by now. Wouldn't that be amazing?" Remy said.

"He'll wake up. Daniel's tough," Zephyr sighed.

Zephyr suggested Lyric get some rest while he kept watch, but Lyric refused. Daniel had done so much for their family, and she was terrified to leave his side now.

She wanted to be with him every moment.

Zephyr and Remy had no choice but to let her stay.

They arranged for a caregiver to take care of her.

Once everyone left, the hospital room became much quieter.

Lyric moved into Daniel's room.

He was still the same, showing no signs of waking up. The nurse was wiping Daniel's hands with a towel. When she saw Lyric, she quickly nodded in greeting, "Ms. Vaughn, you're here."

"You can go now. I'll take over."

"But you're pregnant."

"It's fine, and I'm not that fragile," Lyric smiled, walked over to the caregiver, took the towel, and then bent down, lowered her eyes, and carefully wiped his broad, dry hands. "Daniel, you're going to be a dad. Actually, the last time you visited me, I asked you to take a shower because I wanted to tamper with the condom. But you were too clueless to notice. Dad has finally agreed. He promised me that as soon as you wake up, we'll get married."

She continued, "Daniel, you need to wake up soon. If my belly gets bigger, the wedding dress won't look good. I'm still a girl, and even though I don't care about those superficial things, I want to look beautiful on my wedding day."

Suddenly, her phone rang.

She picked it up; it was Nia calling. She answered.

Nia happily invited her, "Lyric, we've set the date for our wedding. It's next Monday. You have to come!"

"Okay," Lyric agreed, clutching her phone.

Nia continued, "I want you to be my bridesmaid. Is that okay?"

"Sure."

"Great. Make sure to tell Daniel. Walter wants him to be the best man. Raymond wanted to, but he's already married." Nia was so immersed in her happiness that she didn't notice anything off about Lyric.

Lyric glanced at Daniel lying in the hospital bed. She didn't immediately refuse Nia, hoping that maybe Daniel would wake up by Nia's wedding day.

"Okay."

Time always flies by.

In the blink of an eye, it was the eve of Nia and Walter's wedding. Nia invited her and Daniel to help decorate the new house. As the bridesmaid, she needed to arrive early for the rehearsal.

Daniel still showed no signs of waking up.

Lyric held his hand and murmured, "Walter is getting married. I have to attend for you and witness their happiness. We'll be apart for two days. But don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow night to be with you. Daniel, please wake up before I return, okay? How can you bear to leave me alone in this world? Promise me, let me come back and see you awake."

Before leaving the hospital, Lyric gave the caregiver a large sum of money, asking her to take good care of Daniel. Then she went back to the villa to pack a few things.

When Zephyr learned his daughter was going to Nia's wedding, he felt even more guilty. "Lyric, if it weren't for me, maybe you two would be married by now."

"Dad, don't think like that. He'll wake up. He wouldn't leave me hanging like this."

"Take the private jet. Take care of yourself and my grandchild."

"Okay."

The Wood Villa was located in the heart of Silverbrook and was beautifully built. From the small building, you could see the most bustling street in Silverbrook.

Silverbrook had entered autumn.

The leaves had fallen, but the trees at The Wood Villa were evergreen, and the exotic flowers were in full bloom.

The place was decorated festively, washing away the bleakness of autumn.

The new house was already bustling with activity. Margaret, wearing a loose maternity dress, was visibly pregnant with her second child.

Raymond had a cigarette in his mouth while helping to tie balloons.

Margaret was inflating balloons, and the couple worked quickly together.

Nia wasn't there, but Walter joined in.

When Walter saw Lyric, he warmly welcomed her and invited her inside.

The house was filled with flowers, chocolates, and candies, all exuding a festive atmosphere.

"Lyric, long time no see," Raymond greeted her.

Lyric smiled and nodded. Margaret also smiled at her, "Lyric."

They both looked outside, as if searching for something. Lyric apologized, "Sorry, Daniel might not be able to make it."

"What?" Everyone looked at her in surprise. "Did you two have another fight?"

Raymond said, "It's been so long, and you still haven't made up? He's hopeless."

Lyric briefly explained what had happened.

The room fell silent.

Margaret held her hand and comforted her, "Lyric, Daniel will be okay. He loves you so much, even God will help you."

Walter looked at Lyric, "Daniel really cares about you, you just don't know. After you left, he went crazy looking for you."

"Lyric, Margaret and I had a rocky road too, but now we're married and expecting our second child. Believe in yourself and in Daniel," Raymond said, biting his cigarette and tying balloons.

Walter's wedding attracted many prominent guests.

The night before, many guests had already arrived, but Walter's parents were the ones entertaining them. The wedding house was quiet, with only a few people.

After decorating the wedding house, Lyric was filled with envy. Looking at the decorations and wedding photos, she wondered when she and Daniel would have their day.

Lyric found Walter and asked, "Can you give me tomorrow's bouquet?"

Walter was taken aback but quickly understood. She was giving herself and Daniel hope. He smiled, "Even if you didn't ask, we would have saved it for you. We'll pass the good luck to you."

Walter invited her to dinner at the hotel, but she wanted to meet Mireille, so she declined. As she walked out of The Wood Villa, she ran into someone she never wanted to see again.

Cade was dressed in a suit, without a single wrinkle. His hair was already graying. When Cade saw Lyric, he hesitated. He had learned about Lyric's true identity from Walter.

As he thought about the past, he blushed. He wanted to greet her but feared she would be disgusted and ignore him. He pretended not to see her and tried to walk away.

"Mr. Taylor, long time no see. How have you been?" Lyric finally spoke up, forcing a smile at him.
