Chapter 580 Tonight, My Time Is All Yours

Cade was fuming at Daniel's icy attitude. If it weren't for the death of his carefully nurtured son, he wouldn't have brought Daniel back!

Parents who raised their children themselves were always the most caring and understanding. Even though Daniel was his son, he was completely out of control. But now Cade was old, and his vast empire had no heir. It was too late to find another woman, have a child, and start over.

Taking a deep breath, Cade suppressed his anger and looked at Daniel lying in the hospital bed. "Everyone in Regal City knows about your accident. I personally apologized to them, so they didn't make a fuss. Your meeting with that woman has been postponed to the first of next month. Daniel, since you're my son, you have to follow my rules."

"Don't waste your breath. I'm not going. I have someone else I want to marry."

"Della doesn't want you anymore, and you still want to chase after her?"

"Why not?"

"Then let's see if you can bring her back! You fool, you'll eventually hit a wall and realize I'm paving the way for your future." Cade laughed bitterly and stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

His assistant hurried after him, puzzled. "Mr. Cade Taylor, if Mr. Daniel Taylor goes after that woman, won't things change?"

"You've checked Della's background, right?" Cade's expression softened as he walked.

"Yes, our people found out before Mr. Daniel Taylor did. The address is fake; there's no Della there. But if Mr. Daniel Taylor finds the real address, their relationship is definitely closer than ours."

Outside the hospital, Cade looked at the gloomy sky with his cloudy eyes for a long time before coldly laughing. "You forget Della took five million dollars from us. With that leverage, Daniel won't want her once he finds out."

"Mr. Taylor, you're brilliant, always having a backup plan." The assistant flattered him with a thumbs-up and a sycophantic smile.

Ten days passed.

Daniel's health had improved, and he had Walter plan a trip to Della's hometown.

Walter initially thought of buying some casual gifts as a gesture, but Daniel insisted on personally selecting them from his own store.

He remembered Della telling him about her brother, her mother who loved to drink, and her father who played cards. Their family was poor.

Daniel bought several Chanel bags for Della, all the latest models. He had never seen her with a decent bag and didn't know her favorite color, so he wrapped them all.

He also got a silk scarf and a shawl.

For Della's mother, he bought imported wine since she loved to drink.

For Della's father, he bought a new set of clothes, and he did the same for her brother.

The gifts cost millions of dollars and filled the trunk.

Walter drove, following the GPS, and joked, "Ms. Vaughn will be moved to tears by your sincerity."

"She might not even see me," Daniel said, leaning back in his seat with a bitter smile.

Walter disagreed. "Mr. Taylor, as an outsider, I see things clearly. Ms. Vaughn can't have children now, and her family is poor. You're giving her a way out. Any smart person would take it. Without you, where else could she find someone as good as you? Marrying you is better than marrying someone from her village. Even if she doesn't want to, her parents will definitely want her to marry you. Don't worry."

Daniel frowned. "You don't get it. I want her to forgive me and marry me because she wants to, not because she's forced."

Realizing he had overstepped, Walter shut his mouth and focused on driving.

Margaret's health had improved, and Raymond took time off work to personally bring her home from the hospital.

They lived in Raymond's apartment.

Mary was waiting for them at home. She had been taking care of Margaret and had grown attached to her. Seeing Margaret return, bundled up, Mary felt both moved and relieved, like a mother seeing her daughter come home.

Taking the sleeping Felicity from Raymond, Mary looked at the rosy-cheeked baby with great affection. She had been studying childcare for a long time.

Because her employer was generous, Raymond had increased her salary several times. She felt she had to take good care of Felicity to repay the family's kindness.

Mary held Felicity like a precious treasure, gently carrying her to the newly decorated nursery and placing her in the cradle.

Margaret, exhausted, went to the bathroom to shower.

As she applied body wash, the warm water hit her arms and hair, creating white foam.

Suddenly, Raymond entered.

"What are you doing here?" She crossed her arms over her chest, blushing.

He removed his robe, revealing his well-defined, sexy body. "What part of you haven't I seen? Still shy?"

"Let's shower together."

Despite his words, he soon pressed her against the steamy wall and kissed her.

"Raymond, stop. I'm still showering." She was breathless from his kisses and pushed him away.

He held her, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Honey, you've worked hard."

"I haven't worked as hard as you." Margaret stood barefoot in the water, looking up at him. Raymond's high nose and handsome face were covered in water droplets, making him look even more attractive.

Gone was his usual cold demeanor, replaced by a more approachable presence.

Raymond leaned close and whispered in her ear, "Honey, thank you."

"For what?"

"Thank you for forgiving me, remarrying me, and giving me such a lovely Felicity. No matter how tired or hard it is, it's all worth it." He said, lightly biting her earlobe.

Margaret let out a soft moan, and they kissed passionately in the bathroom.

Just as they were about to take the final step, Margaret, eyes misty, clung to him.

He suddenly let her go. "Want it?"

"I don't want it." He smiled and helped her wash her hair.

She was a bit annoyed.

Was he teasing her? If he didn't want to, why did he come in and start this?

She thought he would kiss her while washing her hair, but he didn't. He even ignored her heated gaze. She was upset and lightly pinched his arm, not wanting to hurt him. "Why are you like this? Did I do something wrong?"

"Margaret, listen to me." He firmly held her, kissed her wet eyebrows, and she obediently listened. "We'll finish this after dinner. Tonight, I'm all yours."
