Chapter 150 Do you really have to talk to me like that?

Margaret gave a tired smile and said, "Raymond, if you want to travel, why not take Sarah with you?"

The moment those words left her mouth, she saw his hands clench into fists at his sides. Was he mad again?

Was he going to hit her?

"I've already told you, I'm sticking to the contract! I've taken the meds, and this baby is in my belly! What more do you want?" She looked up at Raymond, her eyes full of confusion.

His heart felt heavy and tight at her words.

They weren't divorced yet; she was still his wife, and here she was, telling him to travel with Sarah.

Raymond sneered coldly, "I'm informing you, not asking for your permission."

"Margaret said, Yeah, if it's just an announcement, why even ask for my opinion?"

"Margaret, do you have to talk to me like this?"

"Sorry, I'm not great at sweet talk. If you want to hear nice things, go find Sarah. She'll be more than happy to oblige."

And the most infuriating part was that she even smiled at him! For a split second, Raymond wanted to strangle her. Did she get a kick out of seeing him angry? But he held back.

He turned and headed to the walk-in closet.

He opened his suitcase and carefully folded her favorite sweaters, jeans, and a few jackets, placing them neatly inside.

Then he zipped it up and set it aside.

Margaret still couldn't sleep all night. She wanted to, but she just couldn't.

The weight on her chest grew heavier and heavier.

After Raymond finished packing, he saw her staring at him with a strange look. "Raymond, you don't have to do that."

"I'll say it again, I'm informing you, not asking for your permission. This time we're going to Silverwood. You used to love it there," Raymond said.

She sneered. She used to love it when she was younger. It wasn't Silverwood she loved; it was traveling with Raymond. It didn't matter where they went, as long as she was with him, she was happy. But now, that feeling was gone.

The next morning.

Sarah showed up at Raymond's apartment door.

Ever since Raymond told her not to think about marrying him, she'd been feeling pretty upset.

But she didn't want to lose her cool. After thinking it over, she decided to come talk to Raymond nicely, but then she saw Margaret and Raymond coming out of the apartment together!

Sarah was stunned.

Were they actually living together?

No wonder Raymond had changed his mind. It had to be that witch Margaret messing with his head!

Sarah watched Margaret get into the passenger seat, and then Raymond drove off quickly.

She waved her hand, and a taxi pulled up in front of her.

Jumping in, she told the driver, "Follow that Bentley! Quick!"

The driver hit the gas, keeping a distance behind Raymond's car.

Eventually, the black Bentley stopped at the airport.

Sarah bought a hat and mask, covering most of her face.

After Raymond and Margaret checked in, Sarah rushed to the counter and said, "Get me a ticket on the same flight as that guy!"

"What?" The attendant looked at her, shocked and confused.

Seeing Raymond and Margaret about to disappear into the crowd, Sarah's tone got urgent. "Just do it!"

"Alright, ma'am, I'll book your ticket now."

After they boarded, it didn't take long for the plane to take off.

Margaret's seat was right next to Raymond's.

But she didn't even glance his way. Ever since he forced her to take that medicine yesterday, nearly costing her life, she felt nothing but exhaustion towards him.

She was so tired. When would this cycle of revenge end?

Marlon had killed Raymond's parents, and Raymond had taken over the Hughes Group, ruining the Hughes Family and turning her life upside down.

She couldn't really blame him; it was her debt to him.

But how could she not blame him?

So she chose silence.

Margaret stared out the window at the clouds, blinking her dry eyes.

She felt so suffocated she could barely breathe.

"Haven't you been sleeping poorly for days? Why don't you close your eyes and rest?" Raymond's soft voice reached her ears.

Raymond had always been a workaholic.

Since he started at the Hughes Group, it had always been like this. So her biggest wish had been for him to put work aside and travel with her, even if it was just for a day, or an hour!

But he always had so many excuses, saying work was for Marlon to recognize him and for their future.

He wanted her to understand him.

She had always been obedient and understanding, but what did she get in return?

Margaret never expected that before her death, he would actually be willing to put work aside.

How surprising!

"You're not just taking me on this trip, are you?" Margaret said with a mocking smile.

Raymond frowned and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"Didn't Sarah come?" she asked curiously.

His frown deepened. "No."

"Even if you brought her, I wouldn't be mad. After all, you two even took wedding photos together." Margaret sneered, turning to look at him. "Has Mr. Howard picked a good date for the wedding?"

Margaret's confrontational words made his face change slightly. "Margaret, don't be ungrateful. I'm traveling with you for the sake of the child in your womb. Provoking me won't do you any good."

So his sudden change was because of the child.

Without this child, he wouldn't even take the time to be with her, right?

Margaret said, "You really care about this child!"

"Of course, wouldn't I care about my own child?"

"Raymond, I'm being sarcastic. Can't you tell?"

He was clearly just trying to torment her, yet he found such high-sounding excuses.

How ridiculous!

Raymond's face darkened, and he got up to chat with the flight attendant.

Maybe because he was so handsome, he was the center of attention wherever he went.

Margaret saw the flight attendant's face visibly redden!

Raymond even took a photo with the flight attendant. He was wearing a suit, showing a proper smile, with a pair of glasses on his nose, looking very handsome.

Margaret had fallen for him because of his looks, and then she couldn't get over him.

It was all her fault for not realizing he was deliberately approaching her, pretending to be aloof and indifferent to her. Her desire to conquer had led her to offer her heart and love to him.

She thought she had married for love, but it was all a trap!

When Margaret saw Raymond looking over, she shifted her gaze.

He walked over, holding a thin blanket, and draped it over her without expression. "Haven't been sleeping well and still so energetic? Close your eyes and get some rest!"
