Chapter 104 Ambush Me
James slapped Harry twice, sending his cigar flying and leaving two red marks on his cheeks. James didn't stop and slapped him again.
James said, "Entities I can't afford to provoke? Who do you think you are? God? In my eyes, you're no different from garbage, and the Jones family is just a pile of trash. Do you believe that I can stab you right now?"
Then, with a swift kick, he sent Harry flying.
Harry grunted, landing four or five feet away, pulling a tablecloth with him and creating a mess.
James' actions instantly silenced the entire room.
Everyone was stunned, watching in disbelief.
Compared to Troy stabbing the young man with the earring, James' slaps were even more shocking.
This was Harry, one of the most notorious rich kids in Rosewood City. Without Raymond here, James would be done for by challenging him.
Even Jennifer and Donna were stunned, wondering if James had lost his mind after stabbing someone.
Harry was formidable. How dare James provokr him?
"Ambush me? Slap me?" Harry got up from the ground, his face filled with humiliation and anger. "James, you're done for. You're completely done for. You can bully me at Apollo Restaurant because you're relying on others. Now, with no one backing you up, I'd kill you myself."
Provoked by a nobody, Harry, with his prestigious backgrond, was extrmrly furious.
As for the slaps and the kick, Harry believed it was just because James had ambushed him. James grabbed a napkin, gently wiped his hands, and smiled. "I don't need Raymond to bully you."
Arrogant!
So arrogant!
This was the sentiment of everyone present.
In front of so many people, he dared to speak like this.
"Hahaha, good, no one has dared to talk to me like this for years." Harry laughed instead of getting angry, loosening his shoulders and neck, preparing to teach James a painful lesson. Harry said, "James, your arrogance and ignorance truly surprise us all. I'll give you a choice, cripple yourself and send Mary to my bed. I'll spare your life today. Otherwise, you'll shatter just like this cup!"
With a crisp sound, he crushed the teacup in his hand, demonstrating his immense strength. Seeing this, his companions cheered and shouted, "Mr. Jones is mighty, Mr. Jones is domineering."
Jennifer's eyes also shined brightly.
Harry added, "James, I advise you to kneel now while you still can. Raymond and Jacob can't help you today."
Jennifer stepped forward and shouted, "If Raymond can't help you, a commoner like you only has one path in front of Mr. Jones - death! If you fight, you'll be even more miserable. Although you have some skills, Mr. Jones is far more formidable. He could kill you with one finger."
James sneered at her words. He didn't take Mr. Jones seriously at all.
Harry walked up to James, his eyes filled with disdain and indifference.
Harry said, "James, oh James, I, Harry, once thought I was the epitome of arrogance, but you've surpassed even me! However, there's a stark difference between us. I have the resources and confidence to back up my arrogance! I've earned my right to be arrogant! And you? You're nothing more than a commoner, a disposable life, at best, a parasite relying on others. Let me tell you, I don't need any connections. I can end your life with a single punch. Today, I'll show you how small you are!"
"If I wanted to kill you, you'd have died a hundred times over by now, loser!" Harry roared and suddenly lunged at James.
In his eyes, James was just an ordinary person, repeatedly provoking him, completely unaware of his own mortality.
Donna and the others looked at James with pity.
James was doomed. He wouldn't regret it until he saw it with his own eyes. How could he not see the gap between himself and Harry?
Donna and the others were all waiting to see James make a fool of himself. Only by realizing his own weakness and insignificance would he understand his true worth.
Jennifer sighed as she saw Harry make his move. "James, oh James, you're overconfident. You're not even as good as Brian. How can you compete with Mr. Jones? When Harry beats you to the ground, begging for mercy, let's see if you can still be so arrogant."
Harry threw a punch at James.
It was powerful and heavy.
If this punch landed on James, it wouldn't kill him instantly, but it would break all his bones, making him wish he were dead.
James didn't even look.
He just swung his right hand and slapped.
With a loud bang, James hit Harry squarely.
Half of Harry's face instantly swelled up.
He flew backward, crashing into a table.
The table shattered, and the place was a mess.
Harry's mouth bled, and he was covered in dirt.
The room fell silent.
Jennifer and the others were dumbfounded, unable to believe what they were seeing.
Harry was a martial arts expert, capable of taking on ten bodyguards. How could the average James knock him down?
And with just a light slap?
Jennifer and the others couldn't accept it.
Harry was also filled with grief and anger. He had intended to severely punish James but ended up being beaten like a dog.
He felt aggrieved and miserable.
He glared at James, both angry and shocked. "You ambushed me! How shameless."
Hearing the word "ambush," Jennifer and the others suddenly understood. No wonder Harry suffered; it was because James ambushed him.
How shameless, resorting to ambush when he couldn't win!
James didn't waste words and slapped him again.
Harry flew backward again, dragging a mark on the ground for five or sixteen feet, and looked extremely miserable.
"Ambush?" James didn't stop, walked over, and slapped him again. "Do you even deserve an ambush from me?"
Harry tried his best to dodge but couldn't avoid it.
He was slapped away again.
Just as he stood up, James slapped him again.
In a series of slaps, Harry rolled away, his cheeks swollen.
The final slap knocked Harry to the ground, shattering his spirit.
Harry spat out a mouthful of blood.
Then, a foot stepped on his back.
Steady as a rock.
Harry struggled with all his might but couldn't get up.
Donna and the others looked at James in horror. They knew how formidable Harry was. But now, not only did he fail to kill James, but James also repeatedly slapped him away.
Jennifer thought to herself, 'How could this be possible? How could James possibly best Harry?'
She looked at James with a mix of anger and disbelief.
