Chapter 465 Extreme Hatred

Amidst the swirling dust, James stood with his hands behind his back.

The light poured down, casting sharp shadows on his face, making him look both determined and formidable.

His gaze swept across the hall, his eyes gleaming with a sharpness like sunlight glinting off an arrowhead.

Then, the light in his eyes dimmed, becoming deep and unfathomable, as if the entire world couldn't fill them.

After six days of grueling effort, James had finally broken through to a higher level, overcoming obstacles and advancing his strength.

Ollie could clearly sense James's transformation, realizing that this retreat had pushed James to a new realm.

He felt both happy and aggrieved. "James!"

Dax and Francis, who had been guarding James, also appeared, looking equally invigorated.

"James, you finally showed up. I thought you were going to chicken out."

James's sudden emergence from the basement startled Elysia and her group. They hadn't expected him to be hiding right beneath their feet.

Elysia quickly recovered, sneering at James, whom she believed to be at his wit's end.

"Couldn't hide any longer, could you? How disappointing. I haven't even blamed your parents yet, and here you are."

She was arrogant. "Truly disappointing."

Her female companions laughed, their eyes filled with disdain for James.

James ignored Elysia, exhaling slowly, marking the end of his training.

Clifford and the others were shocked to see that not only had James fully recovered from his injuries, but he also looked much younger than six days ago.

"Stop pretending. You're a cripple now, and you're still trying to act tough?"

Seeing James's composed demeanor, Elysia's pretty face showed disdain.

"Hurry up and come with me. You're going to spend twenty-four hours in the Mystic Alliance dungeon. Tomorrow at 3 PM, I'll personally take you to Maple Hill."

"Mr. Wheeler and Atticus said you have to make up for the trouble you caused. You can't dump your problems on the Mystic Alliance."

"Tomorrow, if you die, it ends there. If you somehow survive, you'll face the laws."

Her smile was mocking, reminding James that he wouldn't survive tomorrow.

The dozen or so Law Enforcement members also had a sinister look. James dared to challenge Terrence; if they didn't make an example of him, where would their authority be?

"You hit my friends, my woman, and still dare to boast in front of me?" James's eyes flashed coldly. "It seems those five slaps weren't enough to teach you a lesson?"

"Shut up, you cripple. What can you do to teach me a lesson?" Elysia's eyes darkened. The five slaps in the Mystic Alliance hall were the greatest humiliation of her life.

But at that time, she was outmatched and had to concede.

Now, with James supposedly crippled by Dane, barely holding on for tomorrow's fight, he was no match for her, the top Law Enforcement disciple.

So she didn't retreat but instead advanced towards James.

"Kneel and slap yourself a hundred times. Miss one, and I'll kill them all." She pointed her sword at Samantha and Michelle.

Samantha struggled to speak. "James, don't worry about me. Run."

Elysia backhanded Samantha with the flat of her sword, swelling her cheek.

"Who allowed you to speak?" She grabbed Samantha's hair, tauntingly looking at James. "James, aren't you going to kneel?"

James's eyes turned cold. "Elysia, you're dead."

A Law Enforcement member stepped forward to kick James. "Kid, how dare you talk to Elysia like that? Believe me, I'll kill you—"

Before he could finish, his voice stopped abruptly because James was suddenly in front of him, gripping his throat.

The room fell silent.

No one saw how James moved.

Elysia's eyes narrowed, a cold glint flashing. Wasn't James supposed to be crippled? How did he still have fighting power?

The disciple was initially shocked, then sneered. "Kid, if you have the guts, kill me. What's the point bluffing like this?"

He believed that as a criminal of the Mystic Alliance, James wouldn't dare harm him.

James's fingers tightened, a crisp sound followed, and the Law Enforcement member's neck went limp, his body falling straight down.

His face was full of shock, dying with his eyes open.

Everyone felt a chill in their hearts.

Elysia shouted angrily, "James, you're asking for it! How dare you kill a Law Enforcement member?"

A dozen companions drew their swords.

James didn't respond. He stomped his left foot, sending shards of stone flying.

A chorus of screams followed as the Law Enforcement members charging at James were all sent flying back, their bodies riddled with holes.

They struggled on the ground for a moment before going still.

Seeing a dozen people dead, Elysia's face changed, shouting furiously, "James, James, how dare you kill Law Enforcement members?"

There was no response, only a palm strike.

Elysia tried to use Samantha as a shield, but James's fingers were already at her throat.

She retreated rapidly, raising her sword to strike James.

But before she could thrust, her sword was knocked away, and the next second, James's fingers were gripping her throat.

James stood quietly. "I said, you will all die."

In the chaos, Terrence not only didn't unite against the enemy but also added insult to injury. Today, they bullied him, and James wouldn't show mercy.

Almost simultaneously, Francis and Dax rushed out, taking down the Law Enforcement members trying to enter.

A few who tried to escape by car had their heads smashed by Dax's punches.

Elysia, who had been so arrogant with her numbers, was now alone.

Ollie, feeling vindicated, ignored his injuries and excitedly shouted, "Kill her!"

Virgil and Michelle took Samantha back to the room.

"Are you out of your mind?" Elysia's pretty face was a mix of shock and anger. "Killing fellow members is a grave sin, James. This is a crime that will wipe out your entire family."

James didn't waste words. "Any last words?"

"James, if you touch me, Milo and the others will die."

After the initial shock, Elysia saw that while her subordinates were dead, she was unharmed, believing James feared her status. She regained her arrogance.

"To be honest, Milo and Ruby were taken to the prison by Atticus for supporting you. I personally broke their legs and hands. Oh, and Nathaniel's fingers too."

"I let them starve, only feed them with my foot wash."

"And Milo's daughter, Seraphina—I sent her to Atticus's bed half an hour ago."

Over the past six days, Elysia had vented all her humiliation from the five slaps on Milo and the others, even using Milo's life to force Seraphina to submit.

Now, alone and facing James, she arrogantly recounted her actions, not taking James seriously, openly provoking and mocking him.

She believed James wouldn't dare kill her, so she vented all her hatred for the dead Law Enforcement members.

"James, stop bluffing. You don't dare kill me. If you don't kill me, you and Milo might have a chance. If you kill me, you'll become the enemy of the entire Mystic Alliance, and Ruby will die too."

James smiled faintly, flames of extreme hatred dancing in his eyes.

He suddenly waved his hand.

Dax, who had returned, snapped his fingers, releasing a red moth that flew into Elysia's nose under her terrified gaze.

Elysia screamed in pain. "What did you do to me?"

The next second, she fell, writhing and screaming in agony as if suffering hellish torture.

James spoke calmly, "I'll keep you alive for a day. Watch carefully with those eyes of yours; I will send Terrence and Atticus... to hell!"

"Prepare the car. We're going to Law Enforcement!"
