Chapter 466 I Am Here

Three vehicles roared toward Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance.

Inside one of the speeding cars, James extracted a number from Elysia and dialed with an ice-cold expression.

The call connected quickly, rock music blasting through the speaker accompanied by sounds of debauchery before a raspy voice cut through:

"Elysia, why are you calling? Can't you see I'm enjoying myself?" The voice was impatient. "Just find James and throw him in the water prison. Don't bother me."

"Atticus, this is James." His voice carried detached coldness. "I'm calling to tell you one thing: if anything happens to Seraphina, I'll make you wish you were never born."

"James?" Atticus paused, surprised to hear from him. Then he sneered, "Pathetic. You can barely save yourself, yet you dare threaten me?"

"I'm warning you again: touch Seraphina, and you'll regret ever coming into this world."

Atticus dismissed the threat. "How bold for someone Dane left broken! If you're so capable, why is Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance under my control? Why are Ruby and the others rotting in the water prison?"

He laughed wickedly, taunting James, "Let me tell you, Seraphina is right beside me. After I finish my song, I'll make sure to give her special attention."

Whether Elysia had completed her mission didn't matter to him. James posed no threat. By tomorrow afternoon, his head would roll.

"You'll regret this," James said calmly.

"Regret? Laughable." Amid the giggles of female companions, Atticus continued his verbal assault, "You think Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance is still yours? You're wrong! It belongs to me now."

He fiddled with his phone and shouted, "Make Seraphina scream a little."

James soon heard Seraphina's agonized screams as she was whipped. Her voice carried desperation, pain, and a hint of delirium, as if she wasn't fully conscious.

A flash of pleasure crossed Elysia's pretty face—she enjoyed seeing James suffer.

"I just took some pills. They'll kick in about fifteen minutes," Atticus continued. "Then I'll use Seraphina to satisfy myself. Don't worry, I'll record every moment and send it to you for your viewing pleasure."

"When I'm tired of Seraphina, I'll give Ruby and Mia the same treatment. Oh, and I hear you have a gorgeous ex-wife? When I have time, I'll definitely sample her flavor too."

Atticus laughed maniacally. "They're all sinners, and I'll help them atone properly."

"You don't like it? Then show yourself. Come kill me. I'll be waiting in Banquet Hall Three."

His companions joined in the mockery, "Yeah, come kill us if you can!"

After hanging up, James flicked his finger lightly. "As they wish."

"James, though your body has recovered somewhat, killing Atticus is pure fantasy," Elysia said with a cold smile. "Not only are there nearly a hundred Law Enforcement members there, but Atticus himself has three master fighters by his side. Going after him is suicide."

"If you're smart, you'll remove my Sorcerous Poison and kneel before me. Perhaps then I might spare those close to you. Otherwise, when Atticus gets angry, you and everyone around you will suffer."

James remained silent, merely snapping his fingers. Elysia doubled over in heart-piercing pain.

---

Five minutes later, the black sedan stopped at the entrance of Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance. The doors opened. James and his group stepped out, with Ollie dragging a pale-faced Elysia.

Terrence had used Law Enforcement to capture Milo and the others, allowing Atticus to occupy the building. The members James saw upon exiting the car were all Law Enforcement people.

James advanced like a spear, slowly pressing against the throats of over a dozen guards. Without wasting words, he declared, "Those who block my path die." Then he walked straight toward the main building.

A bald Law Enforcement disciple was stunned at first, but after recognizing James, he sneered, "Trash, you dare come here? Wasn't Dane's beating enough? Want Atticus to teach you a lesson too?" He stepped forward arrogantly. "Perfect timing. Go clean our toilets."

His companions burst into laughter. But before their laughter died, Francis lunged forward, cutting through the five men.

A flash of cold black light, and before they could react, they felt a sting at their necks. The next second, they clutched their throats and collapsed. Blood gushed from wounds that couldn't be stanched.

After killing five men with one strike, Francis showed no emotion. He kicked forward, leading the charge inside. James continued walking calmly.

Six more figures appeared in the distance. Sensing the commotion, they approached to investigate, but before they could identify the bloodshed, Francis raised his hand, unleashing a torrent of sword light. The sound of blades slicing through throats rang out as six men died silently.

Elysia was devastated—these were her close senior and junior martial siblings. She cried in anguish, "James, you'll die a horrible death! You'll burn in hell!"

Francis didn't stop. With a slash, three more enemies who poked their heads out fell. Unstoppable.

As he reached the main building, three Law Enforcement experts saw an opportunity and suddenly leaped down from above. Their shadows stretched in the sunset light, their blades seemingly sharper.

Francis rotated his right hand, his black sword carving a cross in the air with overwhelming force.

In the cold wind, the three figures halted mid-air, then fell like birds with broken wings. All died in sprays of blood. Their remaining companions shouted, rushing to encircle and kill, but Francis slaughtered them without mercy.

Elysia's face turned ashen. It was over. Half of Law Enforcement's elite forces had fallen.

James continued without breaking stride, advancing steadily toward the hall. He needed this momentum, this sensation of assault and slaughter, this feeling that shocked everyone.

As he'd said at the entrance: those who block his path die.

Thus he advanced, killing as he went. Blood flowed like rivers where he passed. Occasional screams were quickly silenced.

In the distance, thunder suddenly cracked, making the dusk even colder.

James, expressionless, walked steadily forward, his gaze fixed on the target building just steps away. He entered without hesitation.

As his foot touched the stairs, an old man in yellow flashed before him.

"Boy, die!" The yellow-robed elder wasted no words. A curved blade appeared in his right hand as he slashed toward Francis.

His killing intent roared like a mountain of pressure crashing down. But as he charged forward, a hand gently reached out and grabbed him. The yellow-robed elder's body trembled in shock, his blade falling to the ground.

A hand now gripped his throat. This hand shattered his fighting spirit and severed his life force. The elder swayed, then collapsed. After a few twitches, he died, his eyes filled with confusion and unwillingness.

He never imagined he would be so easily defeated by James.

James didn't even look at him, walking past with composure, his gaze fixed ahead.

Elysia, seeing the yellow-robed elder, wept bitterly, "No, no! You have no right to kill him!" This was her enlightening teacher, an elder of Law Enforcement. She never imagined he would be killed.

Another thunderclap exploded in the sky, covering the sounds of slaughter at Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance.

Stepping forward, James moved as casually as if taking a regular stroll, yet he had already entered the hall. Then his gaze fell on the banquet hall at the end.

Several Law Enforcement members instinctively tried to report the intrusion but were mercilessly pierced by Francis. Two men at the door had just drawn their weapons when their throats were sliced and they fell.

Francis remained swift, fierce, and precise, giving opponents no chance to react. Advancing through bloodshed, over seventy Law Enforcement members died.

Elysia, bound by brotherhood, watched in agony. She never imagined James would not only dare come to Law Enforcement but would also unleash such a massacre. Maintaining her dignity, she said, "James, you'll regret this. You'll definitely regret this."

James ignored her, walking straight to the banquet hall entrance. Before he got close, the sounds of men and women laughing echoed from inside.

James kicked the door.

With a thunderous boom, the door flew open. The banquet hall instantly fell silent as dozens of men and women instinctively looked over.

James's voice, filled with killing intent, overpowered all noise:

"I'm here!"
