Chapter 438 Are You Sky Wolf?
"Mr. Banks, take him down." Aurelia chuckled, "Mr. Gonzalez is throwing a party to celebrate Ms. Gonzalez's recovery, just waiting to hear that James is out of the picture."
"Recovery?" James smirked weakly, "Probably just a temporary fix, huh?"
Marshall's face twisted with rage. "You're asking for it!"
He lunged forward, a blur of motion, fists like cannonballs aimed at James.
Just then, a healing light finally arrived, late but welcome.
Overjoyed, he immediately used it to regain some strength.
James spat out blood, his fist striking out in an instant.
The two clashed again, fists meeting with raw force.
No fancy moves, just pure speed and power, fists flying.
The hall echoed with thunderous booms, like a storm, ringing in everyone's ears.
Fists blurred, too fast for the eye to follow.
"How is this possible?" Not only was Aurelia stunned, but Marshall was also shocked. James had been on the brink, how was he now so strong?
But he didn't care; James was still no match for him.
Bruce's eyes shone with a light, his face showing undisguised pain.
Marshall fought more fiercely, while James's strikes grew faster.
Though James was at his limit, no matter how powerful Marshall was, James held on.
Growing weary of the stalemate, Marshall's eyes turned blood-red, his arm jerked, releasing two puffs of powder from his sleeve.
James's vision blurred, pausing his action.
At that moment, a small dagger appeared in Marshall's right hand.
He twisted his body, slashing viciously at James.
Kaitlyn couldn't help but cry out, "Watch out!"
The blade was swift, too fast for James to dodge, leaving him no choice but to pull back with all his might.
The knife sliced from shoulder to abdomen. The ferocity and brutality were palpable.
James grunted, rolling to the ground.
Kaitlyn's heart ached, "James!"
Bruce stumbled forward, "James."
Marshall kicked Bruce aside.
James lay on the ground, gasping, his body trembling, seemingly on the brink.
Aurelia felt her pent-up frustration release, "Good, good, James, you finally have your day."
Such a vicious strike, even if James survived, he'd be gravely injured.
"What a disappointment." Marshall exhaled, convinced the fight was over, just one more strike and James would be done.
Of course, he didn't want James to die too quickly; Micah still wanted to deal with James personally.
Marshall toyed with the knife, stepping toward James.
Kaitlyn screamed hysterically, "James!"
Aurelia grabbed her hair, facing the camera, "You're quite attached, aren't you? Watch as James is finished."
Kaitlyn wept bitterly. Bruce was in agony, his nails digging into his palms.
"It's over." Marshall stood over James, a mocking smile on his lips. "This is what happens when you cross the Blood Medical Sect."
He raised his left foot, ready to deliver a crushing blow to James's back.
He planned a stomp to break James's spine, a bloody spectacle, and a lesson for Kaitlyn.
Then she'd serve him well.
As he lifted his leg, the barely conscious James suddenly roared, grabbing Marshall's leg and twisting it back.
The power in his chest poured into Marshall's knee.
The violent force cracked bones, and both James and Marshall crashed to the ground.
As they hit the floor, James's elbow slammed into Marshall's knee, delivering a final blow.
Marshall screamed, his upper body jerking up, and James's knife flashed, piercing Marshall's throat.
Marshall's body shuddered, blood spurted from his throat, and the knife flew, making Aurelia and the others scream.
Bruce was stunned.
No one expected James to turn the tables like this.
Marshall's strength drained away, leaving him powerless.
James climbed off Marshall, dusting his hands, speaking calmly, "Now it's over."
He quickly bandaged his wounds.
Marshall clutched his throat in agony, his eyes bulging like a dead fish.
In the deathly silence, only his throat made sounds.
He was angry, unwilling, never expecting to die like this.
But no matter how frustrated, his life was slipping away.
"No, no!" Aurelia screamed, "You bastard, how dare you kill him?!"
Marshall was a prized asset of the Blood Medical Sect, a mid-level martial artist, and had been dominating the fight.
She couldn't accept James's victory.
Aurelia was furious. "James, I won't let you get away with this!"
"Aurelia, you're next." James took a photo of Kaitlyn and the others, quickly sending it to Clarence to rescue them.
Aurelia shouted at James, "James, you have no right to challenge me"
"I'll give you three minutes to kill yourself, or I'll kill Kaitlyn!"
As she spoke, she reached out, grabbing Kaitlyn's neck.
Kaitlyn struggled to say, "James, don't worry about me."
Aurelia knocked her out with a slap, "Kill yourself now!"
Bruce moved toward James, "James, don't listen to her."
"Suicide? Do you think I'd do that? "With your nature, even if I did, you wouldn't spare Kaitlyn." James looked at Aurelia, maintaining his strength, "So I won't be foolish enough to be blackmailed by you."
"If you harm her, I swear I'll destroy you, your family, your entire organization."
He was determined not to let Aurelia see another day.
Aurelia's eyelids twitched, her fingers loosening, then she sneered, "You think you have a chance to kill me?"
Her smile grew confident, assured.
"I killed Marshall, you're not far behind—"
James was cut off by a sudden pain, instinctively reaching back to grab a knife.
The blade had pierced his back.
The handle gripped by a large hand—it was Bruce.
"Uncle Bruce?" James held the blade, ignoring the blood in his palm. "Why?"
Bruce's face was pained, sweat pouring down, his hand tense, but the knife stayed still.
James gave a bitter smile, "I never thought you'd stab me, Uncle Bruce."
Whatever the reason, this stab hurt him deeply, both physically and emotionally.
Bruce's expression turned cold, "James, you shouldn't have come to Glowing Oasis."
James was understanding. "I know, Uncle Bruce, you must have your reasons, right?"
Bruce was silent for a long time, then shook his head decisively. "No!"
James was taken aback, his face pale.
Bruce added, "You shouldn't have crossed the Blood Medical Sect, you really shouldn't have."
James suddenly shivered, "You're Sky Wolf?"
