Chapter 314 I'll Handle the Lee Family's Issues
Hearing James's words, Patricia stepped forward and shouted, "James, didn't you always say you loved my daughter and wanted to protect her and make her happy? How come there's another little girl now?"
Patricia was almost fifty, but she looked just over thirty. Her figure, complexion, and eyes were all full of charm.
Seemingly, God kissed her body. She looked young and energetic with regular maintenance. Moreover, her delicate figure echoed a somewhat alluring scent and temptation.
Now, with her aura fully displayed, she looked even more like a queen.
"Samantha is my patient and also an employee at JZL Medical Clinic. I just hired her for six hundred dollars," James met Patricia's gaze calmly. "Doesn't that count as my person?"
Hearing James's explanation, Patricia's face softened a bit, but her eyes still stared sharply at James. "Cut the crap, James. I came here tonight specifically for Samantha. I want to take her back to Los Angeles."
She spoke firmly, "I hope you won't stop me."
"I know you captured her because she's Molly's niece and you want to use her as leverage," James countered, "But I also want to tell you, you can't touch her."
Patricia laughed in anger. "Since you know that, and you still dare to tell me not to touch her?"
"She has a connection with Molly, but they rarely interact and have a tought relationship. So she poses no threat to Molly," James stared at Patricia and said, "Don't you think it's excessive to use her as leverage?"
"Bullshit, we both have no right to decide her value! Only when we see Molly will it be clear," Patricia shouted sternly, "So even if Samantha has only one percent value, I will make a hundred percent effort to control her."
James retorted, "Samantha is pure and kind and has never harmed the Lee family. Don't you feel guilty capturing such an innocent girl?"
He disliked using unrelated people as leverage the most.
"Shut up!" Seeing James questioning her, Patricia's face turned cold. "First, this concerns the fate of the Lee family. As a member of the Lee family, I only care about the result, not about innocence. Second, you stopped me from taking Olivia back to get married last time, and now you're stopping me from taking Samantha as leverage. You're interfering and sabotaging two ways to resolve the Lee family's crisis. James, do you know what you're doing? You're harming the Lee family and becoming an enemy of the Lee family. Do you really think just because you're skilled, you can do whatever you want?"
Her eyes shot with anger. "Let me tell you, I'm not that easy to bully."
"Patricia, I never said you were easy to bully, nor did I ever think of bullying Olivia's mother," James's tone was gentle. "I just think that to fight strong enemies, The Lee family doesn't need to sacrifice Olivia or control Samantha."
"If there were a better way, would I choose this option? You haven't seen Molly, so you don't know how terrifying that lunatic is. Decades ago, she could poison over a hundred people in a fit of rage," Patricia's voice carried a chill. "Now, after years of laying low, her methods are even more deadly. Several executives of the Lee family's companies in Shadow Valley acted like they were possessed overnight, with twenty-seven of them lining up to jump off the rooftop. Several of the Lee family's younger members and strong fighters also bled to death at home, and the police couldn't find any evidence of foul play after several investigations. Not a single one of the eighteen hitmen survived. Someone like her, once she comes to Los Angeles for revenge, if the Lee family doesn't have leverage to counter her, she'll wipe us out in less than half a month. She hasn't made a move yet because she's waiting for the 18th of next month, her husband's deathday. My time is running out, and so is the Lee family's. James, you can't interfere anymore."
Molly didn't have much power, nor was she top-notch in skills, but her witchcraft was masterful and endless, making it impossible to guard against.
In the face of her endless witchcraft, money, power, and strong fighters all lost their significance.
Patricia had her dignity and pride. If it weren't absolutely necessary, why would she extract value from Olivia and Samantha?
James frowned slightly. Although Patricia was very angry with him, he could still understand her helplessness. It was clear she was truly struggling to deal with Molly.

"You deal with Molly?" Patricia was first stunned, then sneered, "James, I know you have some skills and are a distinguished guest among the wealthy in Rosewood City, but I won't sugarcoat it, even ten of you wouldn't be a match for Molly. Dealing with Molly isn't just about brute force. Her witchcraft may not be unparalleled, but it's among the top. Besides Lester Wells from the Gonzalez Family, no one can confront her head-on. In a one-on-one fight, she might not be able to kill you, but she doesn't need to fight you directly. Any random spell could silently take your life. How can you challenge her?"

Her eyes flashed with a hint of mockery. If pure force could solve the problem, The Lee family wouldn't be so terrified and on edge.
"Patricia, you should have investigated me. Then you should know that besides having some skills, I'm also a doctor," James's face showed confidence. "Although I'm not very powerful, I do have some reputation. Molly's witchcraft won't work on me. In fact, I can even make some pills to temporarily save your lives."
To ensure Olivia and Samantha wouldn't get hurt, James finally decided to get involved.
"Doctor?" Patricia smiled noncommittally upon hearing this. "You do have some reputation, but I really don't believe that at your age, your medical skills can be that impressive, it's more likely that Olivia is hyping you up.."
She reminded James, "That JZL Medical Clinic, Olivia found it for you, didn't she?"
"Debra, do you have facial paralysis?" James didn't respond directly but looked at the silent Debra. "If I'm not mistaken, it was caused by catching a cold while sleeping when you were a child."
Debra's mouth was crooked to the left, her left eye couldn't fully close, her right nasolabial fold was almost gone, and her whole face looked somewhat cramped, as if twisted by brute force.
Hearing James's question, Debra squinted slightly and responded in a deep voice. "Yeah, so what?"
As soon as she finished speaking, James's figure flashed and instantly appeared in front of Debra.
As Debra instinctively raised her hand to counter, James had already inserted a needle into her face.
With that needle, Debra's facial features changed dramatically.
The twisted face seemed to suddenly be released, instantly aligning her eyes, eyebrows, and mouth and nose symmetrically.
James's needle unblocked Debra's congested meridians, expelling the cold inside, restoring her facial features to their proper appearance.
Debra was shocked. Patricia was also dumbfounded.
No one had expected James to cure Debra's facial paralysis with a single needle.
"Stop troubling Samantha," James turned and walked away, "I'll handle the Lee family's issues."
