Chapter 350 Be Your Dog
"How is this even possible?"
Ruby and Ollie were in shock, struggling to believe that James was now the president of the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance.
After all, James had injured Larry, bringing shame to the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance. In a way, James was their enemy.
How could Lancelot appoint James as the president of Glowing Oasis?
But when Ruby held the token in her hand, she knew it was real.
"It's the real deal, it's the real deal," Ruby muttered to herself. "How could this happen? How could this happen?"
Ollie, who had been skeptical, saw Ruby's stiff expression and realized that James truly was the president of Glowing Oasis.
He felt it was laughable and absurd. The Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance was fighting internally, unaware that Lancelot had already chosen the president.
Small players were indeed just cannon fodder or pawns.
Then, Ollie felt a chill from head to toe. If James was the president of Glowing Oasis, he had no leverage left.
He was truly at the mercy of others.
"The Mystic Alliance is in turmoil. Lancelot found me in Rosewood City."
James explained calmly, "He wanted me to clean up the mess and settle the score for injuring Larry."
"I agreed, so I came to Glowing Oasis."
"My original plan was to kill half of the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance, making life quieter."
"But tonight, I met you. I think it's better to have you, the top student, step forward. It saves me some trouble and fewer people will die."
"It can also help you return to your peak."
"It's a win-win-win situation."
"So, Ruby, are you willing to work for me now, or will you stick to your stubbornness?"
He looked at Ruby calmly, not rushing or pressuring her, but everyone knew there was a volcano beneath his calm exterior.
"Ruby greets the president!" Ruby suddenly stood up and bowed to James. "From now on, Ruby will follow the president's lead."
She had no choice. If she didn't follow James, she would be a cripple for life, and the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance would be drenched in blood.
The Green family would cease to exist.
Whether for herself or for Larry's efforts, Ruby could only work for James.
Moreover, she had a burning desire to see how high James could rise in the future.
"Good, very good. From now on, you belong to me, James."
"As long as you're loyal enough, I'll make you as strong as Mia, the strongest of the young generation in the Mystic Alliance."
No need for intense words or pledges of loyalty, just a few simple sentences, and James could feel Ruby's sincerity.
Ruby respectfully replied, "Thank you, president."
"Alright, enough talk. Let me treat you first." James patted her shoulder. "You'll need to exert a lot of effort in the coming days."
Then, he found a room to treat Ruby.
Ollie stared at their backs, his face full of doubt. How could a broken meridian be repaired?
But an hour later, Ollie was shocked.
The door opened, and James and Ruby walked out.
James looked calm, while Ruby stood tall, full of energy, her eyes burning with intensity.
It was hope, battle spirit, and rekindled strength.
As James slightly tilted his head, Mia directly threw a chair at Ruby.
Ruby instinctively spun and kicked, smashing the expensive wooden chair into pieces.
Ruby was ecstatic. She then punched the table, and with a loud bang, the marble table shattered.
"I'm back, really back."
"I'm Ruby, and I'm back!" Ruby shouted, tears streaming down her face, filled with joy from head to toe.
What could be more joyful than a cripple returning to their peak?
Ollie was completely stunned. He never expected James to actually heal Ruby. This outsider was like a god.
Suddenly, he had a deeper understanding of James and made a decision in his heart.
"Ruby, from now on, Mia and Nathaniel will fully cooperate with you."
James looked at Ruby with his hands behind his back. "By any means necessary, settle the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance within a week."
"Soren, Chris, Milo, they either submit or die. I don't want to hear any more noise."
He didn't want to waste too much time on the Mystic Alliance. "A week from now, I want the whole Mystic Alliance under my control."
Ruby responded loudly, "Understood."
"No need for a week, three days will suffice," Ollie, desperate to survive, shouted.
"Ruby is the best fighter in the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance. Chris and Milo are no match for her."
"They think Ruby is still a cripple and have no defense against her."
"If Ruby steps forward and calls a meeting, saying she's a cripple and can't manage the Green family and Mystic Alliance assets, they will definitely come without any defense."
"Then, we can take them down once and for all. Those who don't comply will be killed."
"If anyone else did this, Milo's men would attack crazily, but they wouldn't dare against Ruby, who has both skill and reputation."
"Then, Ruby can rally the other members. Those who are distant from Chris and Milo will definitely join her."
"After all, Ruby is their goddess."
"In this way, you can take control of the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance with minimal cost."
Perhaps fearing for his life, Ollie endured the pain and quickly shared his thoughts.
Nathaniel was stunned.
Mia was surprised.
Ruby squinted.
James was also a bit surprised. He hadn't expected Ollie to have such insight.
This plan, though risky, was simple and effective. It could save a lot of effort and, if successful, reduce casualties.
"Mr. Green, that's a good idea." James slowly walked to Ollie. "Why did you suddenly have the awareness to offer me advice?"
"President, Mr. Williams, I was wrong, I was really wrong. I misjudged you, I was wrong."
"Please give me a chance to live."
Ollie suddenly burst into tears, hugging James's leg and shouting, "I can be your dog, too."
"Just give me a chance, I'll be your loyal dog in life and death."
Ollie had none of the ruthlessness and arrogance he had at the club, only fear and pleading in the face of life and death.
Ruby's face showed anger, feeling he was disgracing Larry.
James laughed, "Can you be a loyal dog?"
"I can, listen to me, I bark really well." Ollie looked up and barked twice at James.
