Addison and the middle-aged man were both freaking out.
The little girl, who had been getting better, suddenly started bleeding from her mouth and nose. Her face turned black, and her limbs twitched uncontrollably.
The crowd quickly backed away, scared of the poisonous blood or getting bitten by the girl.
"Mrs. Moore, please, what's happening?"
The middle-aged man grabbed his daughter's hand and shouted at Addison, "How did this happen?"

Just then, a group of people rushed into the clinic, including Lily's mom and grandparents.
Seeing Lily like this, her mom started wailing, and her grandparents wiped their tears, making the clinic even more tense.
The middle-aged man yelled at Addison, "Mrs. Moore, please save my daughter."
Addison's face went pale, her hands and feet trembling, her mind racing.
It was clear now—the antivenom was ineffective.
From the patient's condition, it seemed the snake venom had worsened and could potentially be fatal.
Regret washed over her. If only she hadn't been so stubborn and had listened to James or promptly taken the girl to a hospital, things might have been different.
At that moment, Lily's mouth gaped open again, and another gush of blood erupted from her.
The blood was terrifyingly bright red.
Though her body wasn't convulsing violently, her eyes were rolling back, foam was forming at her mouth, and her chest was heaving heavily—she was clearly struggling to breathe.
"Mrs. Moore, please save my daughter!"
Seeing her daughter's face getting paler, the mother collapsed to the ground, crying.
Addison's face looked even worse, and she reluctantly stepped forward to perform CPR on the girl.
But it was futile. Lily's eyes remained tightly shut, her face turning blue, and she lay motionless. It was clear her life was slipping away.
Christopher and the others were panicked, realizing the severity of the situation—someone might die, and they could end up behind bars.
Addison wanted to use her medical skills, but after stepping forward and taking a look, she didn't dare to act.
"It's no use, I can't save her." Seeing no improvement in the patient, Addison couldn't take it anymore. "The equipment here is insufficient, and we don't have enough staff. Hurry and take her to the hospital."
She also told Christopher to call an ambulance quickly.
The middle-aged man also panicked and started cursing, "You quack, if you can't treat her, just say so. Why pretend to be an expert! Talking about equipment and staff, all just excuses. If it weren't for you delaying, I would have taken Lily to the hospital long ago.
"If anything happens to my daughter, I'll make sure you die with her!"
Addison's forehead was covered in cold sweat. "Stop talking and take her to the hospital quickly, her life is at stake."
She knew the situation was grim; the patient might die before reaching the hospital, but there was no other option at the moment.
She cursed James for his ominous words.
"It's all your fault, all your fault, I'll kill you!"
As Lily's breathing grew weaker, the middle-aged man lost all sense of reason and lunged at Addison.
The girl's mother and grandparents joined in, charging at Addison with a fury.
Charles and Abigail, mustering their courage, tried to intervene, but they were no match for the enraged relatives. In just a few exchanges, they were left bruised and battered.
Addison also got slapped a few times, looking extremely disheveled.
Daniel and the others didn't step in, clearly disgruntled with Addison and her team.
"Stop! Stop!"
At this moment, another person rushed in from outside the store.
Mary, who had rushed over worried about her parents causing trouble, arrived just in time to see her pampered mother being attacked. Without hesitation, she dashed forward.
"Don't fight, let's talk it out." Mary stopped the middle-aged man and the others.

Mary's eyelashes fluttered as she braced herself, preparing for the impact. But instead of the anticipated slap, she saw a strong hand catch the man's swinging arm.
James had somehow stepped in front of her.
She felt a wave of relief and warmth in her heart.
"Stop!" James shouted, "Everyone, stop!"
"Quacks, a bunch of quacks, you killed my daughter," the middle-aged man's family yelled. "Give me back my daughter, give me back my daughter."
James turned his head slightly, and Troy and the others, who had been watching, immediately sprang into action, quickly restraining the middle-aged man and his family.
"Quiet down, your daughter can still be saved," James shouted at them, then quickly walked over to the little girl.
"She's already dead, what's there to save?" Addison exclaimed, covering her cheek. "Don't pretend you can do something."
She didn't believe that James could bring back someone she couldn't save.
Hearing that the girl was dead, the middle-aged man and his family erupted into a frenzy again.
"If you don't shut up, I'll let them go," James warned Addison, glancing at her. "Do you want to get beaten to death by them?"
Mary quickly grabbed Addison. "Mom, just let James treat her."
Charles and the others also signaled Addison to keep quiet.
Addison finally shut her mouth, but her eyes still showed disbelief.
The middle-aged man regained a bit of sanity and shouted at the item in James's hand, "What are you doing?"
Charles and the others then noticed that James was holding a snake.
It was half a foot long, completely transparent, smooth like jade, but with exceptionally sharp eyes and teeth.
"Your daughter was bitten by a Coral Snake. There's no time to get an antidote, so we have to find the cure from the Coral Snake itself," James explained. "Don't worry, the patient will be fine."
Then, he skillfully took a glass cup and a silver needle, slowly piercing the Coral Snake's tail.
Soon, he had a small cup of snake blood.
"Ridiculous, ridiculous!" Addison exclaimed, still disliking James. "I've never seen anyone use snake blood to detoxify a snake bite. James, don't try to impress people. You can't save the patient."
Charles and the others also shook their heads, thinking James was just messing around.
Mary, however, bit her lip, looking at James with a complicated expression.
"Fool! The head of the Coral Snake is highly venomous, but its tail is the antidote. If bitten by a blue snake, just use the tail's blood to detoxify," James sneered, explaining the use of the Coral Snake, then gave the snake blood to Lily to drink.
Embarrassed by James' public ridicule, Addison wore a sour face. She then shouted to the patient's family, "I tell you, the child still had a heartbeat just now. If she dies after being fed poison blood by him, the responsibility is entirely his!"
She pushed all the responsibility away.
Christopher and the others echoed, "Yes, yes, it's not our fault, she could have been saved at the hospital."
Mary couldn't help but shout, "Mom, have some decency, will you?"
Addison's words ignited fury among onlookers.
"How dare you, you old hag?"
"If you hadn't insisted it was a rattlesnake bite and promised you could cure her, would the child be in this state?"
"Such a self-righteous woman! Why aren't you the one dying instead?"
"Now that you're out of your depth, Dr. Williams steps in, and you use this chance to shift the blame?"
Everyone was enraged by Addison, glaring at her angrily. If it weren't for James, they would have beaten her up.
Addison was so scared she hurriedly hid behind her daughter.
Lily's family was very nervous, staring at James, hoping for a miracle.
As soon as the snake blood went down, Lily's body convulsed violently as if she had been startled by something enormous, and she vomited a few mouthfuls of blood.
This made the middle-aged man's family completely despair.
"She's dying, she's dying," Addison shouted, "I told you she couldn't be saved, but you wouldn't listen."
"Daddy." As soon as she finished speaking, Lily started crying loudly, and the blackness on her face completely faded.
