Chapter 213 Hand Over the Money

"Peach Blossom No. 1?"

"Restricted from buying more?"

Robert's family and the saleswomen were momentarily stunned.

Jasmine stepped forward and grabbed the male salesperson's arm. "What do you mean, Explain!"

The male salesperson coughed, trying to suppress his shock.

"Mr. Williams owns a villa on Peach Blossom Island, Peach Blossom No. 1."

"Yeah, the one worth $140 million."

"According to the latest policy in Rosewood City, he can only own one house within three years."

He pointed to the ID info. "So with this ID, he can't buy another house, no matter how much money he has."

The room fell silent again, everyone staring at James in shock.

"How could he possibly own Peach Blossom No. 1?" Eleanor almost screamed. "That's a $140 million villa."

Peach Blossom Island was one of the most high-end real estate developments in Rosewood City, and its ads were everywhere. Everyone knew about it.

Peach Blossom No. 1 was a dream for many people burdened with heavy mortgages.

Eleanor had even once said she'd shorten her life by ten years just to live on Peach Blossom Island for a month.

Robert and his family stared at James with murderous looks, unable to accept the news.

Michelle was surprised too, but she didn't think badly of it. From the day her husband brought James home, she knew he'd eventually succeed.

That day, when James was brought home, he was cold and hungry, but he still cleaned himself up on the street before entering the house and waited for everyone to be seated before he started eating.

"Oh, sorry." James slapped his forehead and looked apologetically at the male salesperson. "I forgot I had a villa. But my mom doesn't have a house. Her ID can be used to buy it."

James asked Michelle for her ID. "Swipe the card, register, and handle the paperwork."

Michelle instinctively said, "James, I don't need to live in a villa."

Besides feeling bad about James spending money, she was also not used to it. Living alone in such a big house would make her feel lonely and bored.

"It's okay, just buy it first. If you like it, live in it. If not, use it as a vacation home," James said nonchalantly. "Anyway, I don't mind spending this fifty million bucks."

With a wave of his hand, the male salesperson quickly took the ID to handle the paperwork.

"Someone must have made a mistake." Robert squeezed out a sentence with difficulty. "It must have been a mistake that linked James with Peach Blossom No. 1. Isn't it common for quotas to be mistakenly occupied in the news?"

Jasmine nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes, it must be a mistake. How could James afford Peach Blossom No. 1?"

Eleanor raised her head and said, "I bet his bank card has no money. If it does, I'll eat dirt live."

Several female salespeople also nodded slightly, thinking it was impossible for James to have money.

"Oh, Mr. Williams, I'm so sorry, so sorry."

At this moment, a dozen men and women rushed out of the manager's office in a panic.

A sweaty fat man, under the guidance of the male salesperson, rushed to James.

"I am the sales director of Pearl Garden. I am really sorry. Nicholas just started a few days ago and hasn't seen much of the world. He accidentally swiped the card for too much. He swiped $500 million instead of $50 million."

"I immediately reported it to the chairman, and he expressed his deepest apologies. We will return the $500 million within thirty minutes. Also, as an apology, we will give you a $50 million Pearl No. 1 for free as a gift. Please forgive us, Mr. Williams."

He and his team bowed in apology, then respectfully handed over the bank card and ID.

The male salesperson named Nicholas also bowed repeatedly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

"Oh my God."

Robert, Jasmine, Eleanor, and the saleswomen were losing it.

"Swiped $500 million? And it went through?"

"Don't worry about it." James casually put away the items and patted Nicholas on the shoulder. "Nicholas is good. Don't fire him. Credit the commission to his account."

The fat manager waved his hand repeatedly. "Understood, understood."

After a few pleasantries, James was ready to leave with his mom.

"Stop!" Robert couldn't hold back and suddenly shouted, "James, where did you get so much money? Is it what Virgil earned?"

"Let me tell you, he is from the Williams family. The money he earned belongs to us too."

"You better hand over his money, or we'll sue you for embezzlement."

Robert couldn't stand James's family becoming rich, spending $500 million like it's nothing, and having the fat manager and his team be so respectful.

He was convinced that the money was likely left by Virgil, either ill-gotten gains or life insurance money.

"Sue me?" James stopped. "Uncle Robert, I've seen shameless people, but never this shameless. What belongs to us is yours, but what belongs to you is still yours?"

James sneered, "Aren't you crossing the line?"

"We can give you half. It's you who didn't ask. If you want it, you can come and get it anytime," Jasmine shamelessly shouted, "but you must also give us half, Peach Blossom No. 1, and that $500 million."

Eleanor stepped forward. "James, we are family. We share the good and the bad. You can't be too selfish."

She felt that their family deserved Peach Blossom No. 1 and the $500 million more than James.

The fat manager and his team were all dumbfounded, clearly seeing such a shameless family for the first time.

Michelle wanted to speak, but James pulled her back. "Get lost, all of you. We don't have relatives like you."

After saying that, James pulled Michelle and prepared to leave.

"An ungrateful child, you only recognize money, not people. You're so rude. I'll discipline you for your mother."

Robert was furious and slapped James.

James lightly moved his finger, and Robert's arm instantly went limp.

"Uncle Robert, you're not qualified to discipline me."

Robert looked at his limp arm in shock. "Bastard, what did you do to me?"

"Nothing, just poked your hand. Don't use force for five minutes, or it will be crippled." James pointed at the door and said, "Get out, or I'll really break your hand."

"Bastard, you dare touch my Robert!" Jasmine was furious and slapped Michelle in the face. "What kind of mother are you? Can't you control your son? If anything happens to my husband, I won't let you off."

Michelle groaned, took a step back, and five finger marks appeared on her cheek.

James didn't say a word and kicked Jasmine away.

Jasmine screamed and fell heavily to the ground, her hair disheveled.

"Bastard!" Robert roared, grabbed a chair, and charged at James, only to be slapped back by James.

James was about to make a move, but Michelle held him back tightly.

"How dare you strike us?" Robert was furious. "Bastard, you have the nerve to hit your elders. I curse you."

Jasmine also shouted viciously, "Stealing our money and hitting us, you really have no humanity."

James impatiently shouted, "Get out."

"Fine, fine, just you wait." Jasmine, worried that James would hit them, pulled her husband and daughter back.

"Let me tell you, James, you're finished." Jasmine threatened with red eyes. "When I tell Marcus, you and your mother will be beaten to death."

Eleanor also shouted aggressively, "You better obediently hand over Virgil's money. My brother is now a member of the Mystic Alliance. You can't afford to mess with him."

James slapped Eleanor to the ground, then left with his mother.
