Chapter 347 Leave Her Behind
"A crippled person challenging Mr. Green? That's a death wish."
"Why not just hand over the shares to Mr. Green? Save yourself the trouble."
"Take her back, Mr. Green's waiting!"
The bald man slapped Ruby twice, making her dizzy and almost unconscious.
But she still squinted her eyes and mouthed to James and the others, as if calling for help.
The bald man punched Ruby in the stomach, causing a muffled sound. "Behave."
Several men in black re-positioned Ruby.
"Take her away."
The bald man pointed a threatening finger at James. "Remember, you saw nothing, or I'll kill you."
After saying that, he prepared to take Ruby away.
"Hold it!" James picked up a steak and casually took a bite. "Who said you could leave?"
"Leave her here, and I'll let you walk out of here alive."
He glanced at Ruby. Although she was an enemy, Ruby was the most loyal among The Greens.
After Larry's death, out of over ten thousand members of the Glowing Oasis Mystic Alliance, only Ruby traveled all the way to Rosewood City to seek revenge.
So James respected her a bit more.
Moreover, he suddenly felt that Ruby was valuable to the overall situation of Glowing Oasis.
"Leave her here?"
"Who do you think you are?"
The bald man sneered, "Do you know who we are? Do you know who she is?"
"I'm telling you, don't meddle, or you'll all die."
He kicked over the coffee table, spilling food and drinks everywhere, to teach James and his group a lesson.
The coffee table rolled, and the food and drinks spilled all over the floor, creating a mess.
"You'll pay for this meal," James spoke calmly. "Leave her here, pay ten million dollars, and get lost."
Before the bald man could explode, the door was pushed open again.
More than twenty men in black rushed in, followed by seven or eight well-dressed men and women.
The men were flashy, the women were beautiful, and the core figure was a young man with slicked-back hair, smoking a cigar, and a prominent hooked nose.
Mia's face changed slightly, and she whispered to James, "Ollie."
James's eyes turned cold, thinking Ollie had targeted him and brought a large group.
Then he relaxed, realizing Ollie was heavily guarded for self-protection, as he was competing with Soren for the family head position.
Seeing Ollie, he understood why Chris supported him. Ollie was clearly a self-indulgent wastrel, easy to control once in power.
Mia and Nathaniel smeared sauce on their faces to avoid being recognized and exposing their plans.
"Mad Dog, taking so long to catch a cripple like Ruby?"
Ollie, reeking of alcohol, kicked Mad Dog without mercy.
"You're so incompetent, why should I keep you?"
He had even taken off his pants, but his mood had vanished.
"Mr. Green, I'm sorry, it's my fault, I was too slow and ruined your fun!"
Mad Dog quickly spoke, "But it's not entirely my fault. These outsiders demanded we hand over Ruby and pay ten million dollars in compensation."
"So bold?" Ollie squinted at James, then sneered,"Demanding my money? Who do you think you are?"
"You outsiders, trying to play hero, have you even thought about your chances?"
"I could crush a hundred of you in a year."
"Let me tell you, I run Glowing Oasis."
Ollie exhaled a puff of smoke, his eyes full of disdain, clearly thinking James and his group were overestimating themselves.
The well-dressed men and women exchanged glances, their eyes showing disdain, thinking James and his group were foolish.
The female companions crossed their arms, raised their chins, and looked down on James.
"One last time, leave Ruby and ten million dollars."
James's tone was indifferent. "Or you'll regret it tonight."
The female companions couldn't help but laugh, covering their mouths with their pale hands, clearly finding James's words ridiculous.
This was too funny. A few outsiders, where did they get the courage to challenge Ollie?
It was simply suicidal.
Ollie looked at James like he was an idiot.
"Kid, you're threatening me? Do you know who I am?"
Ollie had a chair brought over and sat down, pointing at James provocatively.
"Come on, show me how you'll make me regret it."
His companions laughed loudly.
The beautiful women raised their eyebrows, their eyes filled with mockery and ridicule.
James didn't waste words. He lunged forward, instantly knocking aside several men in black and grabbing Ruby.
He pushed her back, and Mia stepped forward, catching the unconscious Ruby.
Francis stepped forward to protect Mia and the others.
"Bastard, you dare to make a move?"
Mad Dog was furious, pulling out a gun and pointing it at James. "I'll shoot you."
Before Mad Dog could threaten him, James moved again.
Everyone present couldn't react. James moved like a ghost, bypassing Mad Dog.
His speed made people panic and suffocate.
Mad Dog froze, confused, just about to pull the trigger when James snatched the gun.
"Shoot me?"
At the same time, James coldly grabbed the bald man's neck, pulling him towards himself, and slammed Mad Dog's head onto the marble table.
The burly Mad Dog struggled helplessly, the once formidable henchman now weak as a chicken.
Mad Dog's head collided with the stone table, making a muffled sound, his head bleeding, losing his fighting ability.
Mad Dog screamed, "I'll cripple you!"
Before he could finish, James slapped him twice, making Mad Dog scream in pain, his bloodied face now marked with ten finger prints.
James then stomped on his calf.
Bones cracked.
Seeing James's brutality, the female companions jumped in fright, instinctively leaning towards Ollie.
Ollie and the others were shocked, not expecting this scene.
This was their territory, they had the numbers, and they had weapons. How could James dare to make a move?
Where did he get the courage?
"Take him!" Ollie ordered.
More than twenty men in black hesitated for a few seconds, then rushed forward.
Some drew weapons, others tried to grab James, the atmosphere instantly tense.
Ready to explode.
