Chapter 394 Convinced
Almost at the same time, Dax let out a roar, his arms thrusting down with force, sending a dozen scorpions flying toward James.
James flicked his wrist, and silver needles shot out.

The next second, Dax knelt down.

This time, he had no chance to resist.
He knelt before James, unable to move.
James raised a foot, placing it on Dax's shoulder:
"Do you submit?"

Dax's body trembled.

Dax felt despair.
"Do you submit?" James spoke calmly, "If not, I'll send you to meet Molly."
His eyes showed killing intent.
Though it was humiliating, Dax didn't want to die. He had just woken up; he wasn't ready to die.
"Since you submit, think of a way to make me feel at ease."
James's voice remained calm. "I don't want you constantly thinking about my head."
James didn't kill him mainly because he felt pity for him, a sacrificial pawn with limited intelligence. Killing him would be like bullying a child.
"I'll recognize you as my master. I can give you control over my life Gu."
Dax was nearly spitting blood, but his eyes showed no defiance. He handed James a bell.
"This is the Hell Bell, it controls the Fire Lotus inside me."
"Every year, you must ring the bell nine times to awaken a Fire Lotus seed, or I'll die cold."
