Chapter 258 Take It Away

"Man, you're really into your wife, huh?" Neil let go of Mary's hair, a sneer playing on his lips. "Just so you know, about half an hour ago, your wife had a blast with me and a few guys from The Shadow Triad. I kissed every inch of her body. We did it like a hundred times. Mary's got that slim waist, long legs, smooth skin, and those sweet moans. It was incredible!"

He waved his phone around. "I've even got a video of her on here. It's hot. Wanna see it?"

"Or maybe I should just kiss Mary right here?" Neil laughed loudly, totally shameless.

His buddies joined in, laughing along with him. A few snobby women watching the scene smirked, thinking James was out of his league going up against Neil, who had all the connections and power.

James's eyes blazed with anger and a deadly intent. "Let her go!"

Neil's smile vanished, his voice turning cold. "Kneel! You've got one minute to decide. Either kneel, or I'll kill Mary."

A knife appeared in his hand, pressing against Mary's neck.

"James, don't you dare kneel to this jerk." Mary cried, feeling the pain with every breath as Neil threatened James.

"Drop your weapons!" Neil barked. "Kneel!"

James looked at Neil, raised his hands, and dropped his crossbow and knife.

Mary instinctively shouted, "James, don't kneel."

Tears streamed down her face. She could see that James and Francis had the upper hand; otherwise, Neil wouldn't be using her as a threat.

But now, James was kneeling for her, and it broke her heart.

At that moment, she realized that James truly loved her, and she also realized that she cared about James.

Seeing James drop his weapons, Neil was very pleased. "Kneel! You too, kneel." He pointed at Francis.

Francis knelt without hesitation, even placing his hands on the ground to show submission.

Neil's smile grew even wider as he stared at James and shouted, "Why are you still kneeling?"

"James, don't kneel!" Mary screamed, "Don't worry about me. If you die, I'll die too. Kill him and avenge me."

James was about to be humiliated, and for the first time, she felt heartache, as if someone was carving wounds into her heart with a knife.

Seeing Mary struggling desperately, Neil impatiently raised the handle of his knife and struck her hard on the head.

Mary groaned, her head tilted, and she passed out.

Neil's gaze fixed on James as he shouted, "Kneel!"

Several snobby women were gloating, waiting for James to submit.

In their eyes, James challenging Neil like that just showed how clueless he was about his place.

"Fine, I'll kneel." James clapped his hands, stepped forward with his left foot, and placed his right foot on Francis's shoulder.

Francis suddenly straightened up.

James instantly used the momentum to rebound, his body shooting forward like an arrow.

He leaped over more than a hundred Bennett guards.

It was a seamless, fluid motion.

Archibald rushed forward to save Neil, "Watch out!"

Neil was greatly surprised, not expecting James to fly at him like this.

The Bennett guards also shouted in alarm, but they couldn't stop what was about to happen.

The hastily fired crossbows all missed.

Archibald was quick, blocking Neil's front.

James leaped over Archibald's head, his sword flashing down like lightning.

Archibald raised his right hand to block with his sword.

But it was futile, the moment he blocked, he despaired.

James's sword instantly cut through Archibald's sword, slicing into his neck with unstoppable force.

Blood spurted from Archibald's neck, his strength fading fast. Before he hit the ground, James spun and kicked him in the chest.

Blood gushed from Archibald's throat, his chest bones shattered, and blood sprayed everywhere.

As Archibald crumpled to the ground, dead and unseeing, James used the momentum to spring forward again, landing right in front of Neil.

Neil let go of Mary and tried to back away, but after just two steps, he felt the cold steel of a sword at his throat.

James spoke coldly, "Mr. Bennett, how exactly should I kneel to you?"

The whole crowd was stunned.

The snobby women were even more panicked and incredulous.

They never expected James to flip the script like this.

Using momentum to fly, killing in mid-air, and capturing Neil upon landing, a few simple moves completely changed the game.

"Release Mr. Bennett!" As the elite Bennett guards surrounded them, Francis was a step ahead.

He knocked down four people, kicked away three, killed two, and then stood behind James.

He also protected Mary.

At the same time, he flicked his right hand.

A flurry of sword light.

The elite Bennett guards at the front suddenly felt a chill, followed by pain in their wrists.

Screams echoed as a dozen people clutched their wrists and retreated.

Francis's sword strike intimidated over a hundred guards.

"Well, you got some power." Neil's face was expressionless, "I always thought Francis was your biggest reliance, but now it seems you're his backbone."

James coldly stared at him, "You're very calm. Are you not afraid of death, or do you think someone will save you?"

Neil's smile had a deeper meaning, "Neither. It's because I know you don't dare to kill me. If you do, you'll be in trouble, and so will everyone around you. The whole Rosewood City will be in chaos, and you can't handle that."

James smiled indifferently, "In my heart, there are only people I want to kill, not people I can't kill."

At that moment, a voice came from the rooftop, "You shouldn't have said that!"

Neil's spirit lifted, "Thunder."

A middle-aged man appeared, about 6 feet tall, dressed in a suit and tie, with shiny shoes and an arrogant demeanor.

He coldly stared at James, "Release Mr. Bennett and leave the woman, then cut off your hands and feet, and I won't kill you tonight!"

James laughed, "You think I can just back down like that? What about my pride?"

Thunder's eyes flashed with cold light, "Do you know who you're talking to?"

James shook his head, "It doesn't matter."

Thunder showed a hint of killing intent, "I'll give you one last chance. Release Mr. Bennett, or I'll cut you into pieces!"

James's hand holding the sword remained steady, "Many people have threatened me like that, and they all ended up dead."

Thunder's face darkened, "Release him!"

As he spoke, he took a step forward, a powerful pressure enveloping James.

At that moment, James's sword suddenly thrust forward.

Neil's throat was pierced directly.

Blood splattered!

Neil's body swayed, his eyes widened in disbelief, then turned to regret.

He knew he had made a mistake.

He always thought that as the Bennett heir, crucial to Rosewood City's situation, James wouldn't dare kill him no matter how angry he was.

Whether for revenge or gain, James needed him alive.

But he didn't expect James to disregard everything, like a fool.

Of course, he also didn't expect that on his own turf, surrounded by his men, and with Thunder present, James would still dare to kill him!

This was Neil's biggest miscalculation.

James shook his sword, blood dripping, "I've released him. Take him away."
