Chapter 375 Give Me an Explanation

"What are you gonna do about it?" Elijah sneered.

James's angry shout didn't faze Elijah. He reached out to touch Olivia, shifting his gun to aim at James.

Dozens of tough guys also turned their weapons towards the unexpected guest.

Suddenly, there was a sharp sound, and a figure shot forward, leaving a scorched smell in the air—the smell of shoe soles rubbing against the ground.

Phoebe's face changed. "Mr. Garcia, watch out!"

As soon as she spoke, five or six men in black were sent flying, spitting blood and falling dozens of feet away.

James didn't slow down, still charging towards Elijah with unstoppable momentum.

Phoebe, unable to see James's face clearly, instinctively stepped forward to block him. But as soon as she moved, James mercilessly knocked her aside.

She flew like she'd been hit by a train, ribs breaking, blood spurting from her mouth and nose, limbs flailing as she hit the ground.

So powerful.

Phoebe was utterly terrified.

She tried to catch sight of James but saw him already in front of Elijah.

Elijah calmly pulled the trigger six times, but James dodged each shot with lightning speed. As he tried to pull the trigger for the seventh shot, a gust of wind was already beside him.

He instinctively swung his arm to block.

But as soon as his arm moved, James grabbed it and twisted it backward.

With a loud crack, Elijah's arm broke, and he let out a piercing scream.

James didn't stop, throwing Elijah into the crowd rushing forward.

The throw knocked over seven or eight people, causing chaos among the attackers.

James seized the opportunity, charging forward, his fists and feet like a shuttle breaking through waves. Bones cracked continuously, echoing in the ears.

In Briar's shock, James quickly passed through the crowd.

Over thirty of Elijah's henchmen lay on the ground, their limbs broken, blood seeping into the ground.

Groans filled the air, stunned silence followed.

Phoebe recognized James and felt more fear than anger, holding her gun but not daring to move.

Watching James wreak havoc, Olivia's eyes softened with indescribable tenderness. Falling in love with him was truly her greatest fortune.

With him around, the sky wouldn't fall.

"Did I ever tell you not to touch her?"

After knocking down the henchmen, James took out a tissue and gently wiped his hands.

He approached Elijah, speaking casually, "Didn't you hear me?"

"Kid, do you know who I am?"

"I'm Elijah, the steward of the Lee family."

Elijah's mouth twitched, but he still tried to maintain his dignity.

"If you mess with me, you're messing with the Lee family. Can you handle the consequences?"

James ignored him and picked up a knife with eye-catching sharpness.

Elijah, clutching his broken arm, roared, "Even Olivia fears me. You don't have the background or status, you'd better not get involved."

"These days, fighting is useless. If you touch me, a single phone call will have the police arrest you."

"Even if it's a battle of strength, the Lee family has thousands of elite fighters, mercenaries, and even mid-level experts, enough to crush you a hundred times over."

"Young man, you're still young with a bright future. Don't make a mistake by standing out. If you leave now, I'll pretend nothing happened."

"Otherwise..."

Elijah retreated to a white Hummer, with no way out. His face showed anxiety, sweat on his forehead, no longer the initial arrogance.

James's dominance made him very uncomfortable and fearful.

James didn't hesitate, looking at Elijah and speaking calmly, "Did I ever tell you not to touch Olivia?"

"James, he's Mr. Garcia, Mr. Lee's favorite." Phoebe couldn't help but shout. "If you touch him, the consequences will be severe."

But as soon as Phoebe finished, James flicked his wrist, and half a knife shot from his hand, piercing Phoebe's forehead.

Her fierce warning expression didn't even have time to fully unfold before she lost her life.

Her eyes filled with disbelief, she pointed at James as she fell backward, dead on the spot.

Elijah's face turned pale, never expecting James to kill Phoebe so ruthlessly.

Briar was similarly shocked, but then felt a sense of relief.

Olivia and Kevin, however, were familiar with James's ruthless methods.

"Die!"

Seeing Phoebe die in front of him, Elijah, desperate, roared and pulled out another gun, aiming at James.

He pulled the trigger.

James tilted his head slightly, and the bullet flew past James's ear.

Seeing James dodge even that, Elijah's head spun. As he tried to shoot again, a knife had already fallen.

A burst of blood shot out, and Elijah let out another piercing scream.

His left hand was cut off by James, flying several meters and leaving a trail of blood, a shocking sight.

Elijah instinctively moved his body, but another flash of the knife followed, cutting off his other hand.

Blood poured out.

Seeing this bloody scene, everyone present felt a chill.

As Elijah screamed, James flicked his finger, and something fell into Elijah's throat.

"I'll spare your life for now, to go back and tell your master."

James patted Elijah's face and smiled.

"He must give me an explanation for everything happened to Olivia."

"Otherwise, I'll go to the Lee Manor myself tomorrow."

After speaking, James kicked Elijah away.

Elijah and his men were furious, going to the Lee Manor for justice?

But no matter how angry they were, they could only bow their heads and accept it.

Their strength was far from James's.

Elijah considered calling the police but feared James would kill him in desperation, so he decided to plan after escaping danger.

"Get lost." James shot them a cold glance.

James didn't stay at the scene for long. After calling Ollie to clean up, he took Olivia and the others into a business car.

"James, thank you." As soon as they got in the car, Olivia hugged James and spoke softly, "If you hadn't arrived in time, my fate would have been terrible."

Although James knew Olivia had other means of self-defense and her pitiful act was just a way of being coquettish, he couldn't help but feel moved.

A faint fragrance filled his nose, and the sight before him was enough to stir any man's heart.

Her cleavage barely visible, her small mouth exhaling like orchids, her eyes rippling like seductive spring water.

Olivia was like this, with a hundred kinds of charm and countless allure in her every move.

James smiled, "As long as you're okay."

Looking at James, Olivia's eyes sparkled with excitement and longing. She suddenly felt an uncontrollable impulse.

She smiled mischievously, brushed her hair, and wrapped her arms around James's neck.

The next second, Olivia kissed James!

"I want to reward you properly," she whispered, her face a beautiful pink.

James's breathing quickened, then he shivered and covered her tempting mouth with his hand.

"Reward later, tell me what happened first."

Without discussing serious matters, James feared he couldn't resist the impulse.

"Such a coward." Olivia rolled her eyes at James, her expression showing a bit of unsatisfaction. "You've divorced, yet you still have boundaries? Still thinking about her?"

Without waiting for James's answer, Olivia thought of Mary, feeling inexplicably flustered and a sense of loss.

She didn't understand why every time Mary was mentioned, she felt more unsettled, making her confidence in capturing James crumble.

James looked at her and chuckled, "I just want to rescue your mother as soon as possible"

Olivia calmed her chaotic emotions, then lay in James's arms and spoke, "The Toxiclear Elixir you had my mom bring back, poisoned two of the Lee family's children last week."
