Chapter 125 Right Cheek

With that kick, James sent Stacy sprawling on the ground.

Several pretty nurses screamed in shock.

The security personnel's faces changed drastically, finding it hard to accept this unexpected outcome.

Stacy was the head of Harmony Care Hospital, always high and mighty. Patients, nurses, and doctors catered to her unconditionally.

Moreover, she had powerful backing. Once, a police chief's son harassed Stacy in the hospital, and she mercilessly broke his leg.

Such a powerful and formidable figure were now bullied by an unknown small fry like James. It was truly hard to believe.

Not to mention Stacy's immense influence. Even eight security guards would be enough to handle him.

After a brief moment of pain and shock, Stacy covered her cheek and glared at James angrily.

Stacy shouted, "Bastard, how dare you hit me? Do you know who I am?"

She threatened James with a fierce facade, but Stacy clearly felt James's disdain and contempt.

Stacy, seething with humiliation and anger, pointed at James and barked at the security guards, "Rough them up, leave them in a mess. If anything goes wrong, I'll take the heat!"

Eight muscular security guards closed in, their faces twisted into cruel smirks.

Mary's face turned pale at the sight. She didn't expect the hospital staff to be so barbaric, but she couldn't help but shout, "James, be careful."

Harmony sneered. "He's done for!"

Several young nurses arrogantly echoed. "He must be done for."

But the next scene quickly stunned Harmony and her group.

The bald security guard leading the group sneered at James, "You're playing with fire coming here to cause trouble. You're going to regret this."

Before he could finish his sentence, James punched him in the jaw.

The bald security guard fell to the ground with a thud.

Unconscious.

Crushed!

Seeing this, Stacy and Harmony were dumbfounded.

They never expected James to be so formidable. The hospital's eight top security guards couldn't even last a single round.

They instinctively took a step back.

Stacy, unable to contain her anger, shouted, "Get him, all of you, beat him to a pulp!"

She was truly furious. In this hospital, she was the undisputed queen. Everyone catered to and respected her, and no one had ever dared challenge her.

If she didn't crush James today, her authority would be undermined in the future.

With a collective roar, the remaining seven security guards launched their assault.

"Take care of my dad," James told Mary to watch over Virgil, then charged into the crowd instead of retreating.

He easily grabbed a 200-pound body, lifted it, and threw it into the oncoming crowd. Four security guards were knocked to the ground, spitting blood.

In the chaos, James moved in close, delivering a flying knee strike with a crisp sound, sending another guard tumbling.

Then, James grabbed the last security guard by the collar and slammed him into the wall.

Blood splattered.

In less than thirty seconds, all eight burly security guards were down.

James looked at Stacy and sneered. "These security guards are useless."

"Don't be so arrogant." Stacy initially took a step back in fear, then angrily stepped forward and shouted, "Harmony, call Thomas and tell him there's trouble here."

Stacy pointed her finger. "No matter how good you are at fighting, I don't believe you can beat a bullet."

James frowned slightly at her words. Stacy was really persistent.

But Stacy interpreted James's expression as fear and apprehension.

"Scared? It's not too late to beg for mercy now!" Stacy's confidence surged, and she raised her chin. "Otherwise, you'll be in big trouble."

As the chaos unfolded, Stacy had Harmony summon more hospital staff—doctors, nurses, and security personnel—until they filled the entire hallway.

Each one of them bore a menacing look, their eyes fixed on James and Mary.

The sheer number of them was overwhelming.

Stacy's arrogance grew. "You better kneel and apologize, or you'll pay a heavy price today."

Mary's face showed tension, and she instinctively stood in front of Virgil.

James noticed her action. A complex emotion flashed in his heart, but he quickly regained his composure. He looked at Stacy and sneered.

James said, "Someone will indeed pay the price today, but it won't be me. It will be Harmony Care Hospital and you, the director."

"Greedy, unethical, and disregarding human life."

"The hospital's good days are over. Tell your backers this hospital is going down."

Hearing this, Harmony and the young nurses sneered.

They had seen their fair share of minor characters who would rant and rave at the slightest disadvantage, but none had ever brought them any surprise or shock.

They were eithor all talk and no action or they would ask for help from useless people. James was no exception.

Stacy also sneered. "The hospital going down? Who do you think you are? This place could drown a hundred of you. Do you really think you can take me down? That's impossible."

Harmony and her group nodded in agreement, each with a proud and arrogant expression.

Ignorant people, you were waiting to cry.

Mary gently tugged on James's sleeve. "James, let's call the police."

James smiled faintly. "Don't worry. It'll be fine."

Mary hesitated but ultimately said nothing more.

Not long after, five blue and white cars sped to the entrance.

The car doors opened, and more than a dozen uniformed men with guns at their waists emerged.

Thomas led the group, quickly pushing through the crowd and arriving at Stacy's side. He shouted, "Mrs. Cox, is someone causing trouble in the hospital? Who is the blind fool? I'll teach him to respect the law."

Seeing Thomas and his men arrive, Stacy's face lit up with joy. She quickly grabbed his arm and shouted, "Thomas, you're just in time. These two scumbags are outrageous. Not only did they slander us, but they also assaulted my bodyguards. I was kicked by him, too. Take them away and let them reflect in jail."

Stacy pointed at James, overbearing and arrogant.

Harmony and her group all accused James, condemning him as a troublemaker disrupting the hospital.

Thomas shouted, "He hit Mrs. Cox? Is he above the law?"

Thomas widened his eyes in anger and looked up at James. "Young man, have you thought about the consequences?"

Halfway through his words, he stiffened, looking at James with a face full of terror.

His mouth trembled uncontrollably. "Mr. Williams."

The once formidable Thomas now appeared nervous and submissive.

Harmony and her group were bewildered, not understanding why the powerful Thomas was so anxious.

Thomas was the one who had been slapped by James at TranquilTea Haven while standing up for Tommy.

James was also surprised to see him again and smirked. It was no wonder he was known for backing the wrong people.

Stacy was puzzled. "Thomas, what's wrong? Who's Mr. Williams?"

She thought Thomas had mistaken someone else.

"Come here." James beckoned to Thomas.

Thomas reluctantly stepped forward. James was Scott's friend, and Tommy and his father had died after their conflict. How could he dare to challenge James?

At this moment, he had no choice but to comply.

In Harmony and her group's shocked eyes, Thomas stood in front of James with a forced smile.

Thomas said, "Mr. Williams, I'm sorry!"

James slapped him on the left cheek.

A crisp, loud sound.

Thomas took a step back, clutching his face. It was painful and swollen.

James hooked his finger again.

"Right cheek."
