Chapter 147 Aaron's VIP

At 7:30 PM, the entrance of Enchanted Vine Tavern was brightly lit and bustling with people.

Joseph and the Smith Family drove into the parking lot and then walked familiarly toward the restaurant entrance.

A polite hostess stopped them, asking, "Hello, are you Mr. Williams?"

"What Mr. Williams? I'm Christopher, and I have a reservation." Christopher raised his head and said, "It's a private room with a minimum spend of $1,320."

"Sorry, Enchanted Vine Tavern is not hosting guests tonight." The hostess smiled brightly. "Please leave, we cannot accommodate you tonight. Apologies again."

Addison and the others were slightly taken aback. 'Not hosting guests?'

"Why aren't you hosting guests?" Christopher's face darkened, feeling humiliated in public, "Do you want to repeat that?"

"I'm a regular customer, a VIP. I've spent at least $14,000 here, if not $11,200, and you're telling me you're not hosting guests? Who gave you the guts to turn me away?"

Christopher was furious, "Do you believe I can call your manager and have you fired?"

Addison also scolded, "You open for business but refuse to serve customers? Are you out of your mind?"

The family had come excitedly for a meal and had invited many relatives. Being stopped at the door by the hostess would be extremely embarrassing.

"Sorry, Enchanted Vine Tavern has been booked for the night," The hostess spoke clearly. "Whether dining or with a reservation, everyone is being cleared out unconditionally."

"Of course, we will compensate our customers in a few days. But tonight, without an invitation, if you're not Mr. Williams, you absolutely cannot enter."

She nodded again. "Please leave."

Mary hesitated and said, "Christopher, Mom, since it's booked, let's go somewhere else."

"Leave?" Abigail was displeased. "If we leave like this, what a great shame it would be!"

"Booked?" Christopher's face darkened. "I don't care if it's booked or not. I want to eat here, and you must serve me."

"Don't forget, you said the customer is always right, and you said to make guests feel at home."

With so many relatives watching, if this happened, Addison would probably scold him terribly.

The hostess smiled faintly. "Sorry, we can't serve you. Please leave." "I'm Joseph, the young master of Garcia Group."

Christopher was about to lose his temper when Joseph patted his shoulder and walked up confidently. "Get your manager out here to see me."

The hostess remained polite. "The manager is busy preparing dinner for Mr. Williams and doesn't have time to come out."

"Bastard, who gave you the guts to talk to me like that?" Joseph raised his hand and slapped the hostess, making her scream and stagger back, clutching her face.

Addison and the others felt vindicated and praised the slap.

'Disrespectful people deserve to be hit,' they thought.

Mary frowned slightly, thinking it unnecessary to trouble a hostess.

The hostess glared at Joseph and asked, "Why did you hit me?"

"Hitting you is giving you face and reminding you that I'm not easily bullied."

Joseph's voice was cold. "Either step aside or get the manager out here, or I'll tear this place apart."

In the eyes of the Smith Family, Joseph was a powerful figure. If he lost face today, how could he hold his head high in front of them in the future?

"Mr. Garcia, such arrogance."

At that moment, a few people walked out of the hall, led by a beautiful woman, Serena, whom Mary recognized.

She had borrowed money from Stanley, who was the owner of the club, and later had her hand broken by James.

Mary didn't expect to meet her here again.

Serena, dressed in professional black attire, wasn't exactly luxurious but was still charming. She smiled as she approached Joseph and the others.

"Hitting someone in public isn't good, is it?" Serena smiled. "After all, you're the young master of Garcia."

"So it's you, Serena." Joseph squinted slightly. "What? Did Jacob give you the courage to challenge us regular customers?"

There was a hint of disdain in his eyes. A woman who had worked in a club was now lecturing him. How audacious.

He also knew that Jacob was behind Serena, but Joseph felt that Jacob wasn't someone he needed to fear.

Serena replied calmly, "Mr. Davis and I are small figures, not worthy of Mr. Garcia's attention. But tonight, Mr. Collins has booked the place to host the esteemed Mr. Williams."

Serena added, "If he finds out you're causing trouble here and bothering his esteemed guest, I think he would be very angry."

Her gentle tone and words made Joseph and the others shiver.

"What? Mr. Collins booked the place?" Joseph broke into a cold sweat. "Mr. Collins is hosting?"

Serena still smiled gently. "Do you think I would use Mr. Collins as a pretense?"

Joseph and the others fell silent. They all knew Serena wouldn't dare to bluff, which meant they had just insulted Aaron.

Christopher deeply regretted it, knowing that future business with SH Group was over.

Joseph was also sweating profusely but forced himself to speak, "Don't use Mr. Collins to pressure us. We have connections with him too."

"Exactly." Abigail chimed in, "If Mr. Garcia's parents make a call, Mr. Collins would have to release my mom obediently."

Serena looked at Joseph and smiled, "Really?"

'Idiot!'

Joseph wanted to strangle Abigail but still snorted, "Since Mr. Collins has booked the place, we'll make it convenient. Uncle, Aunt, Mary, let's go somewhere else."

Joseph pretended to be calm. "Let's go to Whispering Willow Retreat. Tonight, it's on me."

Charles and Addison were reluctant but knew Joseph couldn't afford to offend Aaron.

Although Aaron had apologized for detaining Addison and compensated $1,562,500, it was out of respect for Joseph's parents.

Just as Charles and Addison were turning around, the lights brightened, and a convoy slowly approached.

In the front were three white bulletproof Hummers, followed by six modified SUVs, and in the middle was a stretched Lincoln.

The vehicles gleamed, and the wheels moved slowly but with an air of menace.

Serena and the others tensed up and quickly composed themselves to greet, "Mr. Collins is here."

Joseph and the others instinctively stepped aside, curiously watching the convoy.

Everyone could tell that Aaron had arrived.

They all wanted to see who Aaron's high-profile guest was.

The cars soon stopped, and the doors opened. First, twelve men in black suits got out and positioned themselves vigilantly around.

Then, four men in gray suits stepped out, their eyes scanning the crowd sharply.

After confirming there was no danger, the door of the stretched Lincoln slowly opened.

First, a foot stepped out, and after touching the ground, the person inside leaped out.

The figure instantly appeared before Charles, Addison, and the others.

He struck their hearts like a bullet.

Abigail screamed, "James."
