Chapter 130 Why are you still babbling

Daniel glanced at the note and was slightly taken aback but said nothing and immediately turned to make arrangements.

"That's bullshit."

The middle-aged woman was furious. "You killed someone, and now you're trying to blame us. Are you even human?"

"Exactly, everyone saw it. My uncle died because of your incompetence. Are you trying to shirk responsibility?"

"And what JZL Medical Hall, a century-old medical hall? Bullshit, you're just a fraud."

"Uncle John, you died so tragically, all because of this quack doctor."

Several elderly relatives berated James harshly.

"Dr. Williams, you should be more careful when doing acupuncture."

"Yeah, we trusted you and Doctor Knoll because we're old neighbors, but you turned out to be a fraud. Isn't that harmful?"

"And the consultation fee is always over ten dollars. I can buy two pounds of pork for that much."

"Apologize and compensate quickly, or else they'll sue you. Not only will your clinic be shut down, but you'll also end up in jail."

Seeing the death, dozens of locals also started blaming James. They asserted that if John hadn't died first, they would undoubtedly be the ones to face misfortune next.

They had already decided that they would no longer be cheap and would go to a hospital for treatment in the future.

The middle-aged woman, full of momentum, said, "Everyone says you're wrong. You can't deny it. Hurry up and confess."

James smiled faintly. "What do you want?"

"I'm telling you, either compensate me $3,125,000, or I'll report you to the medical board and have your clinic shut down."

The middle-aged woman raised her chin in defiance at James. "I'll give you ten minutes to think about it."

"I don't like either option." James laughed loudly. "How about this? I'll return to you a lively father."

The middle-aged woman's face turned cold. "What do you mean?"

The other patients were also confused.

"James, the medicine is here." At this moment, Daniel brought over a bowl of steaming hot medicine, still bubbling, clearly just off the stove.

The middle-aged woman's face changed dramatically. "What are you going to do?"

"Your father has passed away, but I happen to have a remedy that could bring the dead back to life," James said with a cold smirk. "I assure everyone here that once this medicine is given, your father will immediately revive."

"And if he doesn't," he added, "I'll not only compensate you with $3,125,000, but I'll also willingly shut down my clinic."

James tilted his head. "Daniel, pry open the patient's mouth."

"No, no, I don't agree." The middle-aged woman shuddered. "I can't let you desecrate my father's body. I can't let you defile him."

Several relatives also shouted and tried to rush forward to stop James from giving the medicine to the old man.

Although Jared and the others didn't know what James was up to, they tacitly blocked the way, with two people restraining each of the middle-aged women's groups.

But as soon as Jared touched the middle-aged woman, she twisted her body and forcefully knocked him away.

Jared was shocked.

Several workers instinctively blocked her, but they were also easily thrown aside by the middle-aged woman.

The other blocking workers were also knocked down by the group of relatives.

They were incredibly strong.

James smiled, then waved his left hand, directly sending the charging middle-aged woman flying.

The middle-aged woman screamed and fell backward, knocking down several of her companions.

She was utterly shocked, seemingly unable to believe that James was so powerful, defeating her with a casual move.

Meanwhile, Daniel pried open John's mouth.

James tilted his wrist, pouring the bowl of medicine into the old man's mouth.

The medicine was very hot.

The middle-aged woman screamed hysterically. "No!"

The moment the medicine graced John's lips, his body twitched violently, and his eyes sprung open in sheer terror. He began to convulse, spewing the burning potion.

On seeing this, the onlookers gasped in unison, instinctively stepping back, their faces mirroring the shock that gripped the room. The reality of witnessing a dead man come back to life was beyond their wildest imaginations.

Jared and his companions were equally baffled, their faces etched with incredulity.

James said, "The medicine isn't finished yet. It won't be effective."

James held John steady with his left hand and continued to pour the medicine with his right hand.

The heat not only reddened John's lips but also caused blisters in his mouth.

John groaned and occasionally let out a scream, making the middle-aged woman and her group tremble, but they couldn't rush forward to save him.

After finishing the bowl of medicine, James threw the bowl aside, clapped his hands, and stood up.

"Alright, not only is he alive again, but his abdominal pain is also cured." James nodded to Daniel: "Remember to charge a hundred bucks."

"Bastard!" John gritted his teeth, glaring at James in anger. "This is murder!"

The middle-aged woman and her group rushed over, helping to grit John while taking out medicine powder to apply to him.

James let his eyes roam across the room, taking in the stunned faces of the dozens of onlookers. A satisfied grin tugged at the corners of his mouth as he declared, "As I have always maintained, there isn't an ailment I can't treat, nor a life I can't restore."

"Dr. Williams is truly amazing. He can even bring the dead back to life."

"Yeah, just a bowl of medicine and a dead person comes back to life. I've never seen such a skilled doctor."

"I've decided I'll only come to JZL Medical Hall for treatment from now on, no matter how much it costs."

"John truly lacks a sense of gratitude. He dies out of the blue, and Mr. Williams miraculously brings him back to life. Rather than expressing gratitude, he turns around and brands him a killer. It's absolutely devoid of conscience."

"Disrespectful old man."

The neighbors, seeing the situation, praised James and took the opportunity to scold John.

John and his group were furious but had no way to respond. They had brought this upon themselves.

"Let's go!" The middle-aged woman glared at James and then ordered her group to leave.

"Do you want to leave?" James stepped forward, sending John flying with a kick. "Who said you could leave?"

The middle-aged woman was furious. "Bastard!"

James slapped the woman, sending her flying.

James shouted, "A person of such ability, yet you choose to cause chaos in my clinic. Don't I deserve an explanation?"

John's group was completely shocked.

They couldn't believe that James was so skilled.

Jared and the others realized that this group had come to cause trouble at JZL Medical Hall and immediately blew a whistle.

Dozens of construction workers quickly surrounded them, each holding hammers, drills, and nail guns.

They were full of menace.

The neighbors and patients also realized that this group was here to cause trouble.

Remembering how they had been scared earlier, they were filled with righteous indignation.

They picked up bricks and chairs.

"Bastards, you dare to cause trouble at JZL Medical Hall! I'll kill you."

"You scared me to death pretending to be dead. If you don't explain today, don't think about leaving."

"We almost misunderstood Mr. Williams. This debt must be settled."

The thought of being deceived and nearly losing James, a master of his craft, left the local crowd simmering with indignation.

"Explanation?" The middle-aged woman sneered. "James, don't you know who you've offended?"

Without uttering a word, James swiftly delivered another slap, sending the woman reeling. "You're in no position to argue here. Why are you still babbling?"
