Chapter 92 Formed Good Connections

With Bella and Carl's deaths, James swiftly turned the tide of the battle. When Clark's reinforcements arrived, the outcome was no longer in doubt.

Five minutes later, the skirmish ended, with Bella and her team completely wiped out.

James surveyed the scene briefly, whispered a few words to Raymond, and then left the bloody site as quickly as possible.

Taylor asked, "Grandfather, how is that bastard so powerful?"

After ushering Raymond into the adjacent lounge, Taylor's pretty face showed a hint of enthusiasm.

Taylor said, "I thought he was only skilled in medicine."

Before, when she had to call James master, Taylor felt a bit resentful. Due to his lack of abilities, she found it quite uncomfortable to submit to James.

Now, seeing that James was far more capable than herself, Taylor suddenly felt that James truly deserved the title 'master.'

"I didn't expect it either." Raymond remained calm. "But it makes sense. His medical skills are so advanced, indicating a sharp mind. It's normal for him to have a small achievement in martial arts."

"A small achievement?" Taylor slightly opened her mouth. "Then what about me? Am I just mediocre?"

"You've always been all show and no substance," Raymond joked. "Alright, enough of this. Have someone quickly clean up the scene and ensure that no information about tonight gets out."

Raymond added. "Especially about James's involvement. You must keep it secret. He only acted out of necessity and left in a hurry afterward, indicating he didn't want to get involved in these grudges. We mustn't harm him."

Raymond saw things very clearly.

Taylor nodded. "Understood."

"Also, although we must keet it secret, it doesn't mean we should forget his kindness." Raymond's face wrinkled into a smile. "Transfer the antique market land to his name. He refused to accept fifty percent of the Thousand Treasures Corporation's shares, but he shouldn't refuse the land of the antique market."

He needed to put in effort to cooperate with James.

Taylor nodded. "Alright, I'll find him tomorrow. If he doesn't sign, I'll cry until he does."

"We must get this done and tie the Thousand Treasures Corporation to him as much as possible." Raymond candidly expressed his thoughts to his granddaughter. "Besides his two life-saving graces, his martial arts and medical skills are worth our effort to form a good connection."

"That bastard seems to be able to appraise treasures, too," Taylor said, slapping her forehead. "Without keen eyesight, he wouldn't have been able to spot the flaws in those three rare treasures at a glance."

She casually picked up the shattered sculpture.

Raymond's eyes lit up, and he patted Taylor's shoulder with a laugh. "If possible, I really hope he marries you."

"Grandpa, what nonsense are you spouting?" Taylor huffed at the older man. "He's married, and I have no intention of being the third wheel."

After saying this, she ran off, her pretty face blushing.

"Even if he's married, he can still get a divorce," Raymond said with a faint smile, then looked out the window. "Tyler Clark, what do you think of him?"

As he spoke, the darkness in the corner thickened, slowly accumulating and sketching out a shadow like a brushstroke.

Then, Tyler emerged. "He is very powerful."

Raymond asked, "How does he compare to you?"

Tyler replied coldly, "I don't know!"

Raymond was slightly curious. "You don't know?"

"His killing technique is very raw, yet he lacked practice and real combat experience. In this aspect, he is inferior to me. But his speed and awareness surpass mine by a bit." Tyler spoke each word clearly. "In other words, his body isn't strong, but his technique is very high. Once his body catches up, he will definitely break through this realm."

"For you to admire him so much, it seems I was right to form a connection with him." Raymond smiled and said, "By the way, James mentioned that both Taylor and I have been experiencing inflammation recently, likely because someone placed something radioactive in our home."

Raymond added, "Additionally, when I had a centipede inside my body, he suspected it wasn't an accidental ingestion of centipede eggs but rather a deliberate act by someone. Like Olivia, I too have those in my circle who've been bought off by Bryan, those who are quite close to mee. Seek them out, and eliminate them."

Tyler bowed slightly and retreated.

James descended from the eighteenth floor, found Samuel, and prepared to leave.

Although the smell of gunpowder still lingered on him, James felt calm, no longer concerned with the aftermath.

Samuel noticed the bloodstains on James but didn't ask any questions. He picked up the car keys and went to start the car.

Just as they reached the car, a figure rushed out from the shadows and knelt before James with a thud.

It was Brian.

James took a step back. "Brian, what are you doing?"

Brian's hand was severed, and his entire body was filthy. Coupled with the torment of liver cancer, he looked like a ghost.

"James, I know you hate me, and I won't say anything disrespectful." Brian exhaled a hot breath. "I'm kneeling before you, seeking a deal."

James smiled faintly. "A deal?"

Brian's eyes were sharp. "Help me kill Harry and Jennifer, and I'll give you all of my worth of four million and six hundred thousand dollars, including the bar."

The Robinson family had assets worth tens of millions of dollars, but Brian could only control a few million.

Brian didn't know how James had become so formidable, but he knew that only James could kill Harry.

"four million dollars? To kill Harry and Jennifer?"

James looked at Brian with a faintly mocking expression. "Are you out of your mind? Even for tens of millions, I wouldn't kill anyone."

He was no longer the person who would kneel or take risks for ten thousand dollars.

Brian was stunned. "Don't you hate Jennifer?"

James replied, "I did, but now, she doesn't matter to me so that I won't break the law for her."

James looked at him coldly. "Besides, if I were to kill someone, you'd be my primary target. After all, you were the one who took her from me."

Brian lowered his head, his expression pained, unable to find the words.

After a long while, he grabbed his hair and shouted, "I hate them, I hate them, I want to kill them."

He had always been the one to take other men's women, but now that Harry had taken his love, Brian was filled with murderous intent.

"I understand that you're in pain and angry, but there's no need to pay me to murder them," James said softly. "You could do it yourself. Harry might be tough, but even the toughest people have their moments of vulnerability."

"I want to." Brian's eyes lit up, but then he shook his head in despair. "But I'm no match for Harry, and even if I could fight him, I don't have the strength."

Brian said, "I'm in the late stages of liver cancer, with at most half a month to live. Every day is a living hell for me, and only getting drunk at night brings some relief."

He was disheartened. "I can't get my revenge. I can't."

James took out a silver needle and pricked Brian a few times, then prescribed him.

James said, "I've given you acupuncture. Your pain will be reduced by eighty percent, and your strength will increase by fifty percent. Drink the medicine from this prescription for a week, and you'll live for another two months. Two months is enough time to do many things."

James patted Brian on the shoulder. "four million dollars  can also help you arm yourself well."

After saying this, James left calmly with Samuel.

Brian was initially stunned, but after feeling the effects, his eyes lit up, and he clenched his fist.

His face twisted with determination.
