Chapter 321 Intense Conflict

Seeing her phone smashed, Samantha was furious. She shoved Gregory and shouted, "You insane? What are you doing?"

"Simple—I want you in my bed!" Gregory, panting, closed in on her. "Play nice and come with me to the hotel to sign the contract."

Just when he had been outside the store, Samantha's aura and figure had already carved deeply in his mind. And by now, upon a closer observation, his previous lingering disbelief and admiration had grown so strong that he almost couldn't waste a second to pounce on her.

Two of Gregory's companions stopped passersby from filming and sternly warned the sales assistant who wanted to call the police.

"Get lost!" Samantha pushed Gregory hard again, like an angry kitten. "Stay away from me!"

Gregory was enraged. He slapped Samantha hard. "You stubborn bitch, never listen, huh? If I wanted you gone, nobody could save you!"

Although Rosewood City wasn't his territory, he was the boss of Carter Entertainment and the son of Zachary, an elder of the Mystic Alliance. Bullying a little girl wouldn't get him in trouble at all.

As he shouted, Gregory's face twisted, and his voice became sharp, making him look very sinister.

He yanked Samantha's hair. "Come on, let's go sign the contract."

Samantha struggled desperately, "No, no, let go of me!"

"Gregory!" At that moment, another cold voice came from outside. "What are you doing here?"

Gregory shivered and let go of Samantha. He then saw several tall women walking in.

Leading them was Jane, her tone was icy. "Aren't you supposed to be at the film festival? What are you doing here?"

Gregory, clearly afraid of Jane, said ingratiatingly, "Time's not up yet, so I came out for a walk."

Samantha, now free, took a few deep breaths and then looked at Jane gratefully. "Ma'am, thank you..."

Before she could finish, Jane's eyes turned icy, and she smacked Samantha hard. "You slut, messing with my man? You got a death wish?"

She hit her again, splitting her lip and drawing blood.

Samantha, clutching her cheek, stammered, "No, ma'am, I... I swear... I don't even know him..."

"I saw it with my own eyes, and you're still lying?" Jane kicked Samantha square in the gut.

Samantha retreated in pain.

"Seduce my man? Shameless slut. I'm going to teach you a lesson today, you bitch," Jane spoke harshly.

Jealousy flashed in Jane's eyes.

Like the evil queen in Snow White, she couldn't stand anyone being prettier than her. She always found ways to secretly bully those who were more attractive than her.

This was why, among the many women in the Smith Family, she liked to compete with Mary.

Seeing the stunningly beautiful Samantha, Jane naturally got furious and found an excuse to bully her.

Gregory was stunned at first but quickly played along. "Exactly, Jane. She came onto me, said she'd do anything to be a star. Offered me $2K and free rein if I signed her. I lost it, grabbed her hair, slapped her to shut her up—I'm not that kind of guy!"

Samantha shouted angrily, "Uhh... that... that's not true!"

"Still stubborn?" Jane slapped Samantha twice more, causing her to stagger and fall to the ground. "Beat her down, strip this whore. You think you can steal my man? You're asking for it! You pathetic slut, how dare you!"

Several of Jane's female companions rushed forward, slapping Samantha and kicking her with high heels.

Then, someone started tearing at Samantha's clothes and skirt.

Samantha's clothes soon became disheveled, her hair a mess, and her body covered in footprints. Her face was swollen, and she had lost one shoe.

Samantha fought back desperately, knocking over a few people.

Jane shouted at Gregory, "Bastard, still stand here?"

Gregory and his two companions rushed over, kicking Samantha to the ground and pinning her down.

Jane's female companions pounced on her, venting their anger.

Many curious onlookers saw Samantha being held down by several men, unable to resist.

Several women sat on her, pulling her hair and slapping her, cursing all the while.

Samantha curled up on the ground, her clothes mostly torn. She bit her lip, holding onto her pants tightly.

Dozens of onlookers did nothing to stop it.

Some women even had amused expressions, enjoying the spectacle.

Several female sales assistants looked angry but didn't dare to act. They couldn't afford to offend someone like Jane.

Seeing more and more people gathering, Jane became more excited and shouted viciously, "Strip her, peel her naked! She deserves this!"

Samantha was so stunning, if she wasn't ruined, Jane's jealousy wouldn't vanish.

James, just off the phone, charged into the crowd. The sight hit him like a freight train, and his blood boiled.

He couldn't wrap his head around how, in just ten minutes, Samantha had been dragged through the mud in broad daylight.

The pointing fingers and hushed gossip only fueled his rage.

"Back the hell off!" he bellowed, his voice cutting through the chaos.

Jane raised an eyebrow. "James!"

One of Gregory's companions stood up and shouted, "Get lost, if you interfere, we'll fight you too."

James didn't waste words. He kicked the man, sending him flying into a wall, breaking his bones and spitting blood.

Another companion, who tried to help, was so scared he instinctively stepped back but was knocked down by James.

He flew into a fitting room, seriously injured and unconscious.

In the next second, James swept his leg, sending several women flying.

They fell, spitting blood, with broken ribs.

"Bastard, how dare you hit me?" Gregory jumped up in fear, pointing at James. "Do you know who I am?"

"Die!" James grabbed his fist, breaking his fingers.

Then he kicked Gregory, breaking his ribs.

James was about to deliver a fatal blow when Samantha weakly grabbed his pants. "No... uhh... Dr. Williams, don... don't kill."

James was stunned for a moment, his heart bleeding hurt as he felt Samantha's weak strength.

Sealing his watery eyes, he turned to the side, wiped the wet trace of his tears off, then kicked hard on Gregory, roaring, "Get lost!"

Gregory screamed, rolling on the ground.

In an instant, the store was filled with the smell of blood.

The onlookers, never having seen such a scene, were all terrified.

James snatched a coat, draped it over Samantha, and made a beeline for the door.

He wasn't about to let this slide, but for now, Samantha's well-being came first—every second counted, and he couldn't risk her injuries getting worse.

"Fuck, you bastard! Don't go!" Jane shouted, "You dare hit my boyfriend? I'll tell my grandmother."

As she said, she rushed ahead of James and spread her arms to block him.

James, his face stern and his eyes focused on the front, forcefully twisted her wrist, threw her away, and stepped on her face.
