Chapter 255 Directly Charging into Enemy Territory

When Mary got taken, James had just stepped out of the shower.

He'd just finished washing off the blood from killing Montgomery.

As he headed to the kitchen for some food, he noticed a bunch of missed calls from Mary on his phone.

James was a bit thrown off. Mary had been mad at him a few days ago, so why was she calling now?

That wasn't like her at all.

He was debating whether to call her back when an unknown number popped up on his screen.

"Mr. Williams, this is Joel, Mr. Andrew's nephew," said a familiar, urgent voice. "We met at Harmony Care Hospital."

James was a bit taken aback but replied, "Yeah, I remember you, Mr. Thompson. What's going on?"

James vaguely remembered the guy who had backed Dean Stacy and ended up with broken limbs because of him.

"Mr. Williams, sorry to bother you, but something's wrong. I just passed by the TG Company entrance and saw your wife Mary in trouble," Joel quickly reported. "Someone crashed into her red BMW and took her away before she could react."

"What?" James's body tensed up. "Mary was taken? How is that possible? Who took her?"

"Yeah, it happened near the TG Company parking lot exit," Joel explained. "The guy used a business van, and I checked the license plate—it was fake."

"But I recognized one of the guys," Joel added. "He used to be a bodyguard and visited Andrew with someone from The Bennett Group."

"The Bennett Group? Neil?" James immediately guessed, his eyes narrowing. "Alright, thanks."

He hung up and punched the wall in frustration.

He had planned everything so carefully but hadn't expected Neil to go after Mary.

He could understand Neil targeting him and Francis, but going after Mary was crossing the line.

Neil had no limits.

"Find out where Neil is," James called Olivia, then jumped into his Audi and started it up.

He needed to rescue Mary ASAP.

Francis walked in, still covered in bloodstains.

In the battle at dusk, he and Troy had taken out over a hundred thugs.

He was okay but had a few bleeding wounds.

James nodded, "You stay and protect JZL Medical Clinic."

Francis responded coolly, "Mia and the others can handle it."

James patted Francis on the shoulder, "It's really dangerous."

This was unexpected, and no one knew if Neil had set a trap, so it was risky.

But James couldn't wait; he was scared Mary would get hurt.

Francis stayed calm, "We'll die together."

James felt a warmth in his heart and patted Francis on the shoulder, "Alright."

He knew Francis was stubborn, so he didn't push it. After reminding Mia and the others to be careful, he floored the gas and took off.

The Audi roared down Main Street.

Shortly after, Olivia called James with the intel. "Neil's at Golden Coast. He's got a riverside villa there, upstream. He hasn't gotten the full report on Sadie and their defeat yet, but he must've figured out the attack failed since he can't reach Sadie. Our intel shows over fifty people entered the villa ten minutes ago. Now, the villa's got about two hundred guards, Neil's last elite force in Rosewood City."

Neil had a lot of cash and protection, but he could only rally around four hundred people in Rosewood City.

With two hundred already dead, the rest were predictable.

James turned the steering wheel. "Alright, we're heading to Golden Coast."

Olivia's voice was anxious. "James, are you going after Neil? What happened?"

"Neil took Mary," James said, speeding up. "I have to rescue her immediately."

"Mary? Even your ex-wife? Does Neil have no limits?" Olivia's anger overshadowed her jealousy. "Dragging family into personal grudges is low, but going after an ex-wife? Neil's a real piece of work."

She quickly added, "But you can't be impulsive. If he took Mary, it might be a trap."

James pressed the gas pedal harder. "No matter what, I have to rescue Mary tonight."

If it were Charles or Addison, James might not care and would call the cops, but for Mary, he had to save her himself.

Olivia sensed James's murderous intent and tried to calm him down. "James, I know you're worried about Mary, but you need to stay calm. You've killed so many of Neil's people, and now he's got heavy security. Goldenspire, The Shadow Triad, and Thunder might be waiting for you inside. It's really dangerous to rush in. He's desperate and will stop at nothing to kill you. Let me handle the negotiation. I'll make sure Mary's safe, even if cut a deal. Don't go in yourself, or he'll definitely kill you."

Concern clouded Olivia's judgment, her voice trembling, losing her usual composure, fearing James might never return.

"Tonight, no matter what, I'll take out any traps or obstacles. And Neil must die!" James hung up the phone.

The day was gloomy, with no sun, and the streetlights had come on early.

As a flash of lightning streaked across the sky, the Audi arrived at Golden Coast, stopping at the entrance of Neil's upstream villa.

The villa looked like a fortress, covering a vast area, with long, thick walls equipped with electric fences.

The entrance was guarded by seven men.

The Audi stopped at the gate, and James and Francis got out, each putting on a mask.

It was destined to be a bloody night, and they didn't want to be choked by the smell of blood.

Francis also had a sword he had picked up from the ring.

"This is private property, no trespassing," one of the guards barked as James and Francis appeared suddenly. Four men aggressively stepped forward.

"Get lost!" Without a word, Francis shot forward, knocking the four men down.

Blood spurted out.

The white carved gate was also slammed open by their bodies.

Three more men shouted, "You're looking for death."

Francis coldly struck.

With one swing of his sword.

The three men drew their knives to block, but with a crack, their arms broke, and they flew backward.

It was a gruesome sight.
