Hearing this, Alexander's body trembled, the silver needle skewed, and it pricked the back of his hand.
He let out a scream but ignored the pain, staring at James in shock.
James shouted angrily, "Are you using a deadly acupuncture technique?"
Alexander's right hand shook again, and the silver needle pricked his thigh, causing him to grimace in pain.

Andrew turned his head and stared at James, shouting, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"Mr. Thompson, this is James."
Katherine quickly introduced, "I brought him here. He was the one who saved Miss Thompson at the car accident scene. He is the real rescuer."
Hearing that Katherine brought him and that he had saved Gabriella at the accident scene, Andrew's expression softened considerably.
However, his gaze was still dismissive. He did not think much of James, especially because of the Lydia incident, which made him completely disregard James.
Mrs. Thompson and the others had similar expressions, showing disdain and suspicion towards James.
They regarded James as a fraud like Lydia.
Alexander asked, "Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Thompson, since you invited me here, you should have confidence in me. Why did you invite another doctor?"
Alexander took the initiative. "And such a young one at that!"
"This is an insult to me and a great distrust, seriously affecting my treatment."
"And he looks like a little fraud."
Alexander snorted, "Please get him out immediately, or you can find someone else."
He left the bedside and stood by the window, looking indifferent.
Katherine quickly spoke up, "James is not a fraud. He is very skilled in medicine. Miss Thompson was saved from the car accident because of him."
Mrs. Thompson shouted, "Mrs. Gomez! Can you stop messing around? We haven't even held you and the hospital accountable for the incident today, and now you're bringing in another young man as an expert?"
Mrs. Thompson was angry and spoke harshly, "Haven't you learned your lesson? Do you not want my daughter to get better? I will report your negligence to Mr. Miller."
Katherine quickly waved her hand. "Mrs. Thompson, that's not what I meant."
"Mrs. Gomez, I know you mean well and want to make amends, but you must not lose your sense of proportion." Andrew maintained some rationality. "Moreover, we are already disappointed in you and the hospital. I cannot trust any doctor you bring."
"Yes, get out." Mrs. Thompson pointed angrily at Katherine and James. "If it weren't for your interference, my daughter would have woken up by now."
She was determined to transfer Gabriella to another hospital once she was out of danger and to hold Rosewood City Hospital accountable.
James stared at Alexander and spoke indifferently, "Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Thompson, this Alexander is truly suspicious."
"Is that so? You are so young yet you are trying to make a splash!" Mrs. Thompson's face turned cold. "Sorry, you might fool others, but you can't fool us or the monitoring equipment."
Everyone nodded in agreement. Yes, the equipment just showed that Gabriella was improving. How could Alexander be problematic?
Andrew didn't speak. Just waved his hand lightly, signaling Katherine to take James away.
"Mr. Thompson, if you don't trust me, I won't care anymore!" Alexander was very proud. "I want to see who else can wake Miss Thompson up beside me."
"The Thompson family doesn't welcome you, please leave!" Mrs. Thompson shouted sternly at James, "Get out."
Alexander looked smug.
Katherine spoke up, "Mrs. Thompson!"
"Mrs. Gomez, you have disappointed us twice. We reserve the right to hold you accountable for your negligence," Mrs. Thompson scolded coldly. Seeing James still standing there, she immediately shouted angrily, "Are you deaf? I said, the Thompson family doesn't welcome you. Please leave!"
Katherine smiled bitterly, feeling helpless, but there was nothing she could do. She could only blame Lydia for making things more complicated.
James said, "I will leave immediately, but before I go, I have a few words to say."
James looked directly at Andrew and Mrs. Thompson without any humility.
James explained, "Alexander is not using a life-saving acupuncture technique, but a deadly one. This technique will indeed wake Gabriella up in thirty minutes. But after waking up, she will be ruined. This technique stimulates the organs, directly depleting a person's vitality!"
James added, "After waking up, the patient won't have any desire to eat, drink, or sleep, but will just be hyperactive, constantly talking and moving. The technique is overbearing and aggressive, used specifically to induce a final burst of energy. Even a healthy person wouldn't be able to withstand it, let alone someone who's been in a car accident. If you don't believe me, wait until Alexander performs the technique and see if the symptoms align with what I've described."
James said, "Additionally, you can keep Alexander for two days and see if he dares to guarantee his life. To be clear, he knows Gabriella is beyond saving and wants to exhaust her last bit of vitality to make money and leave."
Then, James looked at Alexander and spoke, "Alexander, I know you want to make money off people's lives, but I want to tell you, the Thompson family is not an ordinary wealthy family."
"They are a top family in Rosewood City. If you mess with them and let Gabriella die in the end, I think even if you escape to the ends of the earth, they will take your life. Please think carefully."
After speaking, James pulled Katherine and left the ward.
"Nonsense, nonsense." Alexander was furious. "This is a huge slander against me. How could I make money off people's lives?"
Mrs. Thompson nodded. "I trust you."
Andrew pondered for a moment, then looked at Alexander. "Sir, after the acupuncture, are you willing to stay for two days?"
"Of course." Alexander nodded without hesitation.
"He is just talking nonsense." Alexander waved his hand. "Don't worry, I can save Miss Thompson. Just wait for her to wake up."
Andrew and the others relaxed.
Mrs. Thompson sneered. "We should break his leg for slandering Alexander."
"Alright, you all go out first. I need to perform the acupuncture and need quiet."
Alexander waved his hand, signaling Andrew and the others to leave.
Andrew and the others hesitated and retreated to the door, all with a hint of doubt in their eyes.
There was no need to avoid any noise just now, so why did he need quiet for the acupuncture now?
As Andrew closed the door, he glanced back and saw Alexander swiftly climbing up the window, then grabbing the rainwater pipe and sliding down.
The speed and movement were faster and more agile than a rabbit.
"Bastard." Andrew was stunned at first, then rushed to the window, only to see Alexander already on the ground, rolling and crawling away.
In an instant, he disappeared without a trace.
The ward fell into a dead silence.
