Chapter 311 Slapping Addison

James was a bit surprised; he never expected that Samantha's aunt would be Molly, the formidable rival Trevor had offended.

He once wondered if Samantha's Nine Netherworld Fire Lotus had anything to do with Molly.

However, James didn't tell Olivia right away. He was worried that if Patricia knew about their relationship, she might capture Samantha as a bargaining chip.

For these big families, they never thought of the so-called kinship or something else, let alone Samantha being an orphan, they only considered her a tool.

With James' help, the meal was quickly prepared, over a dozen dishes filled the entire table.

The food looked, smelled, and tasted great, making James marvel at Melissa's culinary skills.

If Melissa became a chef, she could easily earn over ten thousand dollars a month.

Kaitlyn had some outdoor shots to edit, so she couldn't make it back for dinner, making the room feel a bit emptier.

James and Mary invited Melissa to sit down and eat, as it would be too impolite to let her stay in the kitchen after working so hard.

Charles also spoke up to keep Melissa at the table.

Unable to refuse everyone's request, Melissa thanked James and the others while holding her bowl and sitting at the far end of the table.

"Who told you to sit here?" At that moment, Addison, who had just hidden the property deeds for the Smith Family villa and CF Clinic, came downstairs. Seeing Melissa holding a bowl at the table, her face immediately changed.

"A servant has no right to sit at the table. How dare you! You can only finish your meal in the kitchen!" She pushed Melissa's chair, nearly toppling it over.

Melissa hurriedly stood up with her bowl, looking sad and aggrieved but not daring to retort.

James couldn't help but shout, "Addison, what are you doing?"

"Mom, Melissa worked hard all day. What's wrong with her eating with us?" Mary was also angry, "We're not some aristocrats, why put on airs?"

"Rules are rules, and a servant is a servant," Addison raised her chin, "I make the rules, everyone must listen to me!"

"You're being irrational!" James stood up and then said to Melissa. "Melissa, don't mind her. Sit down and eat."

Mary echoed, "Yeah, from now on, eat at the table. We don't have a rule about eating in the kitchen."

Seeing James and Mary standing up for her, Addison's face grew even angrier, and she slapped Melissa.

Mary shouted, "Didn't you hear me tell you to fuck off here? Why are you dawdling? Hurry up and get to the kitchen. If I see you again, I'll dock your pay."

Melissa covered her cheek and prepared to leave with her bowl.

"You sat on this chair, clean it well after dinner. You're all greasy, so disgusting!" Addison disdainfully lifted Melissa's chair.

Before she could finish her sentence, James slapped Addison across the face, the sound echoing through the hall.

Five finger marks instantly appeared on Addison's face.

Addison was stunned by the slap, looking at James in disbelief.

Charles and Mary were also shocked, seemingly never expecting James to strike.

Addison gritted her teeth and squeezed out a sentence. "You dare hit me?"

"You can slap Melissa, so why can't I slap you?" James slapped her again, "Now I slap you again, so what?"

Addison groaned and stepped back a few paces, her cheeks swelling up.

"Mom, you deserved it," Mary gently stood in front of James. "Melissa worked so hard, and you treat her so toughly. Do you have any conscience?"

"Get lost!" Addison snapped out of it, pushing Mary aside and shouting at James. "Bastard, you dare hit me? I'll fight you."

She raised her hand to slap James, but her wrist was caught midway.

James forcefully flung her, making Addison stagger a few steps and nearly fall.

"Considering your age and being Mary's mom, I used to tolerate you . Now I won't tolerate you anymore, you're becoming more and more unreasonable! You ask for this, you deserve my slaps!" James' words were firm.

"You heartless man! You dare slap me! I curse you!" Addison howled, then grabbed Charles and shouted, "Useless, he hit me. Why didn't you stop him? And you all, why are you just sitting there? Go hit him."

She scolded Christopher and Abigail.

The couple avoided eye contact. Nowadays, James was no longer someone they could bully.

They were even thinking of getting on James' good side to get some projects from SH Corporation.

Charles looked helplessly at James and said, "James, you went too far. That was a bit heavy."

"Bastard, it's not about being heavy; he dares hit me! You're all bastards, all heartless men!" Addison's shrewish nature flared up, and she shouted, "Get out, all of you. Get out of my Peach Blossom Villa No. 1. This is my house! I'm the owner! Fuck off here!"

She pointed to the door and said to James. "You're not allowed to come here anymore!"

"Mom, this Peach Blossom Villa No. 1 isn't mine; it's James'." Mary looked at Addison and said, "You can't drive James away, but James can drive you away."

Charles and the others were shocked, "What? This villa belongs to James?"

They had once wondered where Mary got the money to buy Peach Blossom Villa No. 1, but since they were living there without issue, they didn't bother to find out, assuming it was Mary's property.

Addison's howling stopped instantly, and she covered her cheek, her mouth agape, "Bull... bullshit! You're talking nonsense! This is my house! It's mine! You can't rob it from me! Damn it, you selfish bastard! Do you think you can deceive me?"

She didn't want to believe or admit that Peach Blossom Villa No. 1 belonged to James.

A $140 million villa, how could it not belong to her but to James?

Mary spoke calmly, "Peach Blossom Villa No. 1 is worth $140 million. How could I afford such an expensive villa?"

Addison was speechless.

"Now, apologize to Melissa immediately," James took a step forward, looking at Addison coldly, "Or else, get out of Peach Blossom Villa No. 1."

Addison clenched her fists, her eyes filled with frustration. She couldn't accept apologizing to a servant.

But she would never leave Peach Blossom Villa. It was one of the top villas in Rosewood City, which was ten times better than the Smith Family villa.

Moreover, living in Peach Blossom Villa No. 1 had made her friends treat her much better, and no one dared to show her unrespect anymore. It felt great.

Seeing this, Melissa quickly waved her hand, "No, James, forget it."

"No, you can't just forget it. She has to pay for her mistakes," James' eyes were cold as he looked at Addison. "If you don't apologize within a minute, I'll have Mary pack your things and kick you out."

Charles and the others remained silent, clearly thinking Addison needed to be taught a lesson.

Addison shouted, "James, don't push me too far!"

"Fifty seconds!" James counted down.

"I'm your mother-in-law!" Addison roared.

"Forty seconds!" James continued.

"You'll be struck by lightning for this!" Addison cursed.

"Thirty seconds!" James ignored her.

"Mary, you have to stand up for your mom!" Addison cried, turning to Mary.

"Twenty seconds," James urged.

"How can you be so heartless?" Addison shouted.

"Ten seconds!" James continued.

Addison shivered and shouted at Melissa. "Melissa, I... ugh... I'm sorry. I was wrong earlier!"
