Chapter 235 Had Too Much to Drink

The game continued, with Rachel spinning the beer bottle, which landed on Ella. She chose to take the dare and was punished with a bite of mustard. After a few rounds, almost everyone had taken dares and received various punishments, such as eating raw chili peppers, exchanging drinks with the opposite sex, doing squats, and more. The bottle then landed on Patrick, spun by Daniel. Patrick also chose the dare and was instructed to sing and dance. He performed a striptease dance and surprised everyone with his professional-level singing and dancing skills. He received applause from the whole room. After Patrick's performance, he spun the bottle again, and it landed on Willow. Willow had already had too much to drink, as she was drinking bottled cocktails with a high alcohol content. Although they tasted good, the alcohol content could have been higher. Willow had an average tolerance for alcohol and had been keeping up with Daniel's drink for drink. Soon, she became dizzy. Her face was flushed, and her gaze was hazy as she looked at Patrick.

"Willow, are you okay? It's your turn to choose," Patrick asked with a smirk.

"Truth or dare," Willow suddenly stood up and shouted, not waiting for Patrick to ask what she wanted to choose.

Patrick, with his attractive peach blossom eyes and a mischievous smile, could tell that he had come up with another prank. "Willow, Patrick's punishment is that you have to choose a man from the group and give him a kiss."

Rachel was relieved that she had chosen the truth and had avoided Patrick, but she thought his punishment was too outrageous.

Matthew and the others should have paid more attention to it. Willow and Patrick were always close, so they dared to play games like this. But since they arrived at Madison, Patrick dared not fool around.

Willow tilted her head and tried hard to remember Patrick's punishment. She felt dizzy and couldn't recall who Patrick had told her to kiss. Willow shook her head. Mitchell was sitting on her left, while Daniel was on her right. She looked at both sides, and it seemed like there were two Daniels and two Mitchells.

Patrick smirked as he walked over, holding a drink in his hand. He didn't actually want to make things difficult for Willow. "Willow, if you're too afraid to kiss someone, just have a drink with me."

Willow felt extremely confused, looking at the two Mitchells and two Patricks in front of her. Suddenly, she stood up and said, "Who says I'm afraid?" With that, she pouted, squinted her eyes, and pressed her hands against Mitchell's head, kissing him directly on the lips. The force of her head caused Mitchell's lips to split open.

Everyone in the room was stunned. No one expected this to happen. Daniel, standing behind Willow, was dumbfounded but silently gave her a thumbs-up. "You're so brave."

Madison knew that Willow had feelings for Mitchell. She looked at Ella next to her and then at Willow, who was now lying in Mitchell's arms, unsure of whether she should say something to break the awkward atmosphere.

Mitchell himself didn't expect the girl to headbutt him and kiss him like that, literally. Her teeth cut his lips, and he tasted the metallic flavor of blood in his mouth. It wasn't until then that he reacted and couldn't help but let out a soft groan. The initiator of this game was now unconscious, leaning against Mitchell. Ella quickly squeezed in, seeing Mitchell's split lip, and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

Mitchell had calmed down by now. "It's okay. Willow had too much to drink," he said. In the darkness, no one noticed his reddened ears, revealing the pounding of his heart when he had touched Willow's lips just moments ago.

Patrick, who was closest to Mitchell and Willow, was most affected by the situation. He stood there, stunned, for five minutes before coming back to his senses. He stared at Mitchell, who still had traces of blood at the corner of his mouth, and his first reaction was that things were not good. Willow had caused quite a fuss, actually cutting Mitchell's mouth. He reached out to help Willow, saying, "Mitchell, Willow has had too much to drink. Don't blame her. Let me help her back to rest. Daniel, quick, let's take Willow back to rest," he said, winking at Daniel as he spoke.

Daniel hurriedly approached, ready to assist Willow. However, Mitchell did not loosen his grip on her shoulder, and in a cold voice, he said, "I'll take her up. You guys continue playing." He then bent down, carrying Willow in a princess-style hold, and walked toward the house, leaving Patrick and Daniel with their hands hanging in mid-air.

Patrick looked at their retreating figures and then at his outstretched arm that was still up in the air. "What's going on? Is Mitchell going to handle Willow personally?" Daniel thought to himself, "It can't be!"

"Well, Willow didn't do it on purpose either," Patrick said, thinking that it was unlikely. Then, everyone sat back down and planned to continue playing. After the little incident, Madison became a bit worried. If Patrick came up with any more strange punishments later, she couldn't handle it. There were still many uncooked ingredients on the table, so Madison suggested taking a break and eating something first. They put the unfinished lamb on the grill to heat up and resumed their barbecue.

Ella was absent-minded, her eyes fixed on the direction Mitchell had carried Willow. Finally, she couldn't sit still and excused herself to go to the restroom, following after them.

Upstairs, Mitchell carried Willow to their room. Since their people occupied the entire villa, no one bothered to lock their doors. Mitchell freed up his hands to turn the doorknob with his knees, gently pushing open the door with his head, and then placed Willow on the bed. He turned on the air conditioning, covered her with a blanket, and turned to the bathroom to get a towel to wipe her face. He filled the sink with hot water, soaked the towel in it, wrung it dry, and looked at his own slightly swollen and bruised mouth in the mirror. The bleeding had stopped, and it wasn't too serious. Suddenly, the girl's lips, filled with the taste of alcohol, pressed against his. To be exact, they smashed against his. Honestly, it didn't feel good at all. At that moment, he only felt pain and the taste of blood. But still, his heart couldn't help but thunder.

Mitchell walked out holding the towel and saw that Willow had turned over and was lying on the bed in a sprawled position, with the blanket kicked off. Mitchell walked over and gently covered her with the blanket again, wiping her face with the towel. Then he stood by the bed, staring dumbfounded at the girl's sleeping profile for a long, long time.

In the end, he sighed softly, turned, and went back to the bathroom to clean the towel before hanging it up. He looked back at the girl lying on the bed. The room had cooled down by now, and Willow hadn't kicked off the blanket again. Only then did Mitchell leave the room and gently close the door.

As he walked out of the room and closed the door, he saw Ella standing at the doorway as if she had been waiting for a long time.
