Chapter 295 How to Thank

Willow looked at Mitchell, her mind filled with questions. Did he bring her back to her room last night? How did he end up in her room? Did she do something inappropriate to him again? She always seemed to lose control when she was drunk.

Willow's face displayed a range of emotions. She remembered the last time they all went on vacation, and she had accidentally gotten drunk. She heard that she had boldly kissed Mitchell. Of course, she didn't remember any of it, but she regretted it now. At least the regret gave her some impression. After all, they had kissed.

She now thought she had done something wrong again while drunk. "Why do I never remember anything when I do something wrong?" Willow sighed silently. She wished she had some recollection. Her gaze secretly glanced at Mitchell's rosy lips, and her face turned even redder.

Puzzled by her changing expressions and the sudden flush on her face, Mitchell thought she might not be fully awake yet. He walked over to Willow, his expression a mix of concern and affection. "What's wrong? Headache? Feeling unwell?" He paused and then said seriously, "You can't drink so much in the future."

Willow quickly shook her head. "No, I'm fine now. I'm awake."

Mitchell, still somewhat unconvinced, asked, "Are you sure? You don't feel uncomfortable?"

Willow vigorously shook her head. "I'm really fine."

"That's good. Do you need to change? Get dressed, and let's have breakfast." Mitchell walked to the door. "I'll wait for you outside." Then he opened the door and left.

Willow watched Mitchell's departing figure, still unable to remember if she had 'misbehaved' with him last night. She took the clean clothes and went into the bathroom, preparing to take a shower and change. As she washed, she thought to herself that she should never get so drunk again. It felt terrible not remembering anything.

When Willow finished showering and changing and opened the door, she saw Mitchell, Matthew, and Madison with their two little ones standing outside.

"Madison, are you all ready? Sorry, I took a shower," Willow said, feeling a bit embarrassed as she looked at everyone waiting for her.

"No problem, we just finished as well," Madison said with a smile, her eyes constantly shifting between Mitchell and Willow. Willow felt a bit awkward. Why did Madison's gaze seem so strange? Did she really kiss Mitchell in front of everyone yesterday? It was really embarrassing.

Matthew coughed lightly, interrupting Madison's inquisitive look. "Let's go, let's have breakfast first." Quentin and Hannah ran ahead, with Matthew holding Madison's hand and Willow and Mitchell following behind.

Willow walked to Mitchell's left, her head down, pondering whether she should take the initiative to ask and apologize. She felt really uncomfortable. Mitchell caught sight of a pillar in front of Willow and quickly pulled her into his arms. "Be careful. You never look ahead when you walk. Are you really not feeling unwell?"

Only then did Willow see the pillar, just half a meter away from her. She raised her hand and patted her chest. Meeting Mitchell's gaze, she said, "I'm really fine, Mitchell. I was just lost in thought."

Mitchell didn't seem to believe her words easily. "After sending Matthew and the others to the airport, go back and rest for a while. Have a good rest in the room today." Willow felt a sense of relief. She didn't want to stay in the room and lie in bed all day during this beautiful vacation. But she didn't dare to argue and said obediently, "Okay, let's have breakfast first, Mitchell."

Quentin and Hannah, who had already reached the elevator, shouted, "Auntie, Uncle, hurry up, the elevator is here."

"Coming," Willow replied and quickly escaped.

The hotel's breakfast was buffet-style, and the group of people grabbed some food and found a round table to sit at. Willow sat next to Quentin and whispered in his ear, "Quentin, who brought me back to the hotel last night?" Quentin lowered his voice and leaned in, "We came back together, Auntie. Don't you remember?" Willow nodded, feeling relieved to hear that they came back together. Then she heard Quentin continue, "Auntie, Uncle carried you back last night. Dad held Hannah, and I was the most amazing - I walked back by myself."

Willow glanced at Mitchell, who was eating breakfast seriously and coughed lightly. She continued to whisper to Quentin, "Quentin, Auntie has another question. Did Auntie do anything strange yesterday?" Quentin tilted his head, thinking seriously, and then shook his head, "No."

"Really?" Willow couldn't help but raise her voice. Quentin nodded vigorously, "Really, Auntie." Willow smiled foolishly. She had overthought it.

Watching them whispering, Madison asked with a smile, "Quentin, what did Auntie say to you? You seem so happy." Quentin was about to speak, but Willow quickly jumped in, "Nothing, we were discussing where to have fun." She winked at Quentin, who understood and said, "Auntie asked me to introduce her to the place."

Hannah, who was next to them, joined in, "Auntie, you should go to the water slide. It's super fun. I want to go again." Willow clapped her hands with a smile, "Sure, I'll go again for you tomorrow."

"Okay, Auntie, you play every day for Hannah," Hannah's soft voice showed her fondness for the water slide.

After finishing breakfast, Matthew's family set off for the airport. Willow originally wanted to go with them to see them off, but Madison suggested they take a taxi to the airport, and it wasn't far, so she didn't let Willow and Mitchell run after them. She wanted them to have a good time for a few days, and they would meet again in Horizon City. So, Willow and Mitchell only escorted them to the hotel entrance.

After Matthew and Madison left with Quentin and Hannah, leaving behind the two of them, Willow and Mitchell stood facing each other in the hotel lobby.

Mitchell turned and walked back. "Let's go, let's go back and rest for a while." Willow followed him toward the elevator. After the two of them entered the elevator, Willow stood behind Mitchell, staring at the back of his head. After contemplating, she spoke up, "Mitchell, thank you for carrying me back yesterday."

Mitchell suddenly turned around, step by step, pressing Willow against the elevator. His eyes narrowed, and he had a seductive smile on his face as he asked, "How do you want to thank me?"
