Chapter 412 Hannah Was Adorable
Willow listened to Madison and laughed along, saying, "Matthew is just worried about you, Madison. You're the family's top priority now. He is so nervous."
Matthew had always regretted not being around when Madison was pregnant with Quentin and Hannah. Although this wasn't their first child and it wasn't Madison's first pregnancy, he was acting like a first-time dad, extremely nervous, treating Madison like a fragile doll, and being very cautious about everything.
"I know he's just too nervous. He wants to follow me everywhere I go," Madison said with a blissful smile.
Just now, when she and Willow came out to find the two little ones, Matthew was worried and wanted to come along. It was only after Willow assured him that she would take good care of Madison that he reluctantly let them go to the backyard.
As Madison and Willow walked into the backyard, they saw Patrick demonstrating skateboard tricks to the two little ones. The kids were clapping and watching with wide eyes. The two women walked over with smiles on their faces.
Patrick saw them coming, stopped what he was doing, and greeted Madison with a smile, "Hi, Madison." Then he turned to Willow and asked with a smile, "Willow, didn't you say you'd come early? Why are you so late? You even missed dinner."
Willow's cheeks instantly turned red. Luckily, it was evening, and she was standing with her back to the light, so it wasn't noticeable. Otherwise, everyone would have seen her blushing face.
"Mitchell had a video conference during the day, so we came over after dinner," Willow said, blushing and making an excuse.
Madison smiled and backed her up. "Mitchell called Matthew this morning and said he had a last-minute meeting and would come over in the evening."
Quentin and Hannah turned their heads as soon as they heard Patrick talking. Seeing Madison and Willow standing behind them, they both smiled and called out, "Mom, Willow."
"Mom, Willow, Patrick is so good at skateboarding," Hannah quickly said, pulling Madison and Willow towards her.
Quentin stood beside her, nodding vigorously. "Really, Patrick is super good."
Quentin and Hannah already knew from Matthew that Madison had a baby in her belly. Matthew reminded them every day not to let Madison carry them or bump into her belly, so the two little ones were very understanding and knew to go to Matthew if they needed anything and Madison needed plenty of rest.
Madison and Willow smiled at Patrick after hearing the kids' words. It seemed Patrick had successfully established a new heroic image in their minds with his skateboarding skills.
Madison looked down at the two little ones and smiled, "So, have Quentin and Hannah learned how to skateboard?"
"Quentin has learned, but I haven't," Hannah said, pouting a little unhappily. Quentin could already skateboard quite far on his own. She was a bit scared, so she didn't dare to skateboard after getting on and needed Patrick to support her from behind.
"Really? Our Quentin is amazing," Madison first praised Quentin with a smile, then turned to Hannah and said, "Quentin is a boy, and Patrick is also a boy, so Quentin learns faster. You are a girl, so you learn a bit slower than Quentin. I believe that by tomorrow, you will also be able to skateboard just like Quentin."
The two little ones were very happy after hearing Madison's words.
Quentin eagerly volunteered. "Don't worry, Hannah. When Patrick isn't around, I'll teach you how to skateboard."
"Thank you, Quentin," Hannah said happily, grabbing Quentin's hand.
It was clear that the siblings had a great relationship.
Willow stood by with a smile, genuinely impressed by Quentin's athletic talent. When she first heard them playing in the backyard, she thought they were using kids' scooters. She didn't expect that Patrick would give them an adult skateboard, but Quentin learned to use it in just one evening. It was truly impressive. Willow thought Madison's parenting was excellent because of the words to her kids and no wonder Quentin and Hannah were so well-behaved, polite, and lovable. If she and Mitchell had kids in the future, she would definitely learn from Madison how to raise them. Willow blushed again when she thought this.
Ever since she moved in with Mitchell, she couldn't stop thinking about marriage and having kids. It must be because Mitchell always whispered words like "hubby" and "honey" in her ear, making her daydream.
Willow and Mitchell stayed at the Nelson Mansion for about three hours, leaving around nine in the evening. As they were about to leave, Quentin and Hannah clung to Willow and Patrick, reluctant to let them go.
"Patrick, are you coming back tomorrow? I haven't learned how to skateboard yet," Hannah said, pouting.
Patrick couldn't resist Hannah's pitiful expression and immediately promised to come back and teach her.
Hannah then smiled and held out her pinky finger to Patrick, saying, "Let's pinky promise, no lying."
Patrick laughed and hooked his pinky with hers.
After securing Patrick's promise, Hannah turned her attention to Willow, holding her hand tightly. "Willow, will you come see me and Quentin tomorrow? We miss you so much." Before Willow could answer, Hannah turned her big, shiny eyes to Mitchell and said, "Mitchell, can you bring Willow tomorrow?"
Patrick laughed and asked, "Hannah, why do you only want Mitchell to bring Willow? Why not someone else?"
Hannah had overheard Matthew, Madison, and William talking and knew that Mitchell and Willow were dating. Although she didn't fully understand what dating meant, she had asked Quentin, who told her that dating was like Matthew and Madison, who would get married and have babies in the future.
Tilting her head, she answered in her cute little voice, "Because Mitchell and Willow are dating."
Everyone burst into laughter. Hannah's comment made Willow a bit embarrassed, and she stood next to Mitchell with her head down, her face turning red.
"Hannah is so adorable, even knowing this," Patrick couldn't help but say. He then looked at Mitchell and added, "Mitchell, you have no choice but to bring Willow tomorrow."
Hannah mumbled, "I heard my dad, mom and great-grandpa talking about it."
Hannah's adorable demeanor also made Mitchell laugh. He nodded and said, "Alright, I'll bring Willow to see Hannah and Quentin tomorrow." He then gently pinched her cheek and patted Quentin's head.
