Chapter 445 Wedding Photos

Lloyd and Patricia had been in Horizon City for almost a week, and Jessica had been keeping their schedule packed every day, so Willow didn't even need to step in.

Jessica was dragging Patricia to check out hotel venues today, finalize the wedding favors tomorrow, or look at makeup artists the day after. Although Mitchell had hired a professional team to handle things, Jessica was thoroughly enjoying herself, personally overseeing every detail.

Taking advantage of Patricia's presence, the two moms were enthusiastically finalizing everything that needed to be settled.

Even though Willow was at work, the two moms would send her tons of photos every day, asking if she liked the wedding decor, what flavors of wedding favors she preferred, and even sending her pictures of the souvenir for her to choose from, so she was fully involved in the process.

Before the wedding, Lloyd had to go back to teach at his school, as he had been rehired as a teacher. He could only return to Horizon City a week before the wedding.

By the time they left Horizon City, most of the wedding preparations were settled. Jessica assured them that they could go back with peace of mind and leave the rest to her.

Mitchell stood by, raising an eyebrow in awe and smiling without saying a word, thinking it was fine to let his mom be involved as much as she liked.

Willow's main wedding dress was still designed by Madison.

Although it was previously decided that all wedding dresses would be designed by Madison, now that she was pregnant, it wasn't convenient for her to do it herself.

Willow had thought about just ordering a dress from outside, while Matthew couldn't bear to see Madison working so hard on the design sketches.

However, when Madison heard that they were planning a wedding, she insisted on designing Willow's wedding dress herself. Matthew couldn't argue with her and went along with her wishes.

Moreover, Madison also knew that it wasn't appropriate to work too hard while she was pregnant, so she personally designed the sketches and had Rachel find a master craftsman in Horizon City to hand-sew the dress. She only designed the main wedding dress, leaving the dresses for the reception to Willow.

Mitchell, of course, wouldn't let Willow be disappointed and found a top designer from Lindwood City to come to Horizon City to make custom dresses for her.

Even if Madison only designed the main wedding dress, Willow was still thrilled. After all, the main wedding dress was the most important piece of clothing.

Since Madison got pregnant, it took her a long time to complete a single sketch. Their studio had hired additional designers, and it was now very difficult to get a dress personally designed by Madison.

Moreover, it wasn't about how prestigious or expensive the wedding dress was; it was about the fact that Madison personally designed it for her, which gave it a sentimental value.

Before the wedding, the couple had another major task which was to have their wedding photos taken.

Mitchell didn't choose a traditional wedding photography studio but instead called in the top photographer Alvin from JK's entertainment department, along with the entire top-tier makeup and styling team.

They prepared outfits including an evening gown, a wedding dress, and a set of casual everyday clothes.

On the day of the shoot, they specifically went back to the old compound to shoot the evening gown photos, as the environment there perfectly matched the theme, creating a harmonious feel. Even the photographer couldn't stop praising the results. The compound held childhood memories that both of them shared, making the first set of photos particularly meaningful.

After finishing the evening gown photos, they shot a simple indoor wedding attire theme, which was done quickly.

Then, the group headed to the riverside to shoot the casual attire theme. It was just around dinnertime, so there weren't many people around, and they didn't attract much attention.

The clothes they wore were not particularly eye-catching, just everyday outfits with coordinated colors making them look like a couple. Many passersby didn't even realize they were taking wedding photos, glancing over without stopping.

The entire shoot took a whole day, and by the end of it , even Mitchell felt a bit tired. In the evening, after the shoot, he treated the photography and makeup team to dinner. The last set of casual clothes worn for the shoot was actually Willow's own clothes, so she didn't bother to change out of them.

Hearing that Mitchell was treating them out for dinner, Alvin was the first to speak up, "Mr. Jonah, if you're treating, it better be a five-star hotel."

He pointed to the Imperial Hotel by the riverside. Alvin, not only a top photographer at the company but also a senior member who joined JK early on, was familiar enough with Mitchell to speak up for the younger team members.

The younger assistants and makeup artists, many of whom had just joined the company, were too shy to speak.

Another senior makeup artist chimed in, "Yeah, Mr. Jonah, if you're treating us, we won't hold back."

Mitchell smiled and said to everyone, "Sure, let's go to the Imperial Hotel. Don't hold back; you all worked hard today."

Everyone cheered at the news. A couple of interns who had just graduated and had never been to the Imperial Hotel were especially excited, whispering to each other.

Somebody remarked, "Mr. Jonah seems so approachable. I've never even dared to step inside the Imperial Hotel."

Another added, "Me neither. And he is so handsome. I heard his wife works at our company too. They look so perfect together."

The two interns, being new to the entertainment department, didn't know Willow yet.

One of the interns said, "I heard from a senior that when they announced their relationship, Mr. Jonah gave out a lot of benefits, and they were all really generous. Too bad we missed out, but I bet there will be more for the wedding. I'm ready to grab some perks."

The other intern playfully replied, "Really? Should I get a better phone to make sure I can grab those perks?"

After packing up the photography equipment and makeup kits, they followed Mitchell and Willow to the Imperial Hotel.

When they reached the lobby and asked for a private room on the top floor, the receptionist regretfully informed them it was booked. Mitchell called Cheryl, and someone immediately came down to escort them upstairs. The two interns, who had never seen such luxury, were wide-eyed in amazement.

They took the elevator straight to the top-floor restaurant, where the staff led them to a private room and then left. The senior members of JK enthusiastically started ordering, and sure enough, they picked the most expensive items, filling the table with seafood. Initially, everyone was a bit reserved, despite their earlier bravado about not holding back. After all, it was their first time dining with Mitchell.

Mitchell glanced at the menu, added a few more dishes, and handed it back to them, smiling. He gently urged, "Don't be shy, order whatever you want."

He even joked. "If you don't order now, there won't be another chance."

Alvin quickly took the menu back and, head down, started marking items with a pen. Such an opportunity had to be seized.

Only then did everyone fully relax.
