Chapter 387 Rushing to the Hotel
Matthew and his friends had all been drinking, so they left their car in the bar's parking lot. After exiting the bar, they hailed two cabs and rushed back to the hotel. Fortunately, the bar wasn't too far from the hotel. In about twenty minutes, the four of them were standing at the hotel entrance.
They headed straight for the presidential suite on the top floor.
When they reached the door of the presidential suite, all four of them stopped simultaneously. They could hear the sound of the TV from inside the room but nothing else. It was quite peaceful. Matthew raised his hand and pressed the doorbell several times, but no one came to open the door. They exchanged glances, and Nicholas said, "Is something wrong?"
"It shouldn't be," Mitchell replied. Thinking about the photos he had just received, he didn't believe they could have gone out.
Liam said he would go to the front desk to get a key, but just as he turned around, they heard someone inside asking, "Who is it?" It was Rachel's voice, and she sounded normal. Nicholas immediately responded, "Rachel, it's me."
The group patiently waited outside the door. After a while, they heard the sound of the door opening, and a small head peeked out. Rachel could hold her liquor well and hadn't drunk much, so apart from her slightly flushed face and a bit of dizziness, she was still sober.
When Rachel opened the door and saw four people standing outside, she was momentarily stunned and then closed the door again. The four men outside were left completely bewildered, looking at each other, not knowing what had just happened. Nicholas reacted and stepped forward to press the doorbell again, but Rachel shouted from inside, "Just a moment."
Matthew and the others didn't know what was going on and obediently waited outside. Mitchell, having received the photos earlier, wondered if they had all dressed up in costumes, which would make it inappropriate to go in.
After closing the door, Rachel stood there for several seconds and looked at the girls sprawled across the bed. She couldn't help but scream, stumbling to find her clothes. Relying on her remaining rationality, Rachel quickly changed her clothes, stuffed the uniform into her bag, and covered the others on the bed with a blanket. After making sure everyone was covered, she went to open the door again.
The four men outside were still confused. Rachel's scream had startled them. Nicholas almost couldn't resist rushing in. Finally, after a while, the door opened again. Rachel stood silently behind the door, her head slightly lowered, her eyes downcast, and her face flushed, either from drinking or from nervousness. As soon as Nicholas entered, he walked over to her and took her hand. The two of them walked at the back, following the others into the room.
After entering, Matthew and the others were speechless when they saw the empty bottles on the table, the food scattered everywhere, and the balloons all over the floor. They looked around but didn't see the person they were looking for. Mitchell turned to Rachel, slightly anxious, and asked, "Rachel, where are Willow and the others? Aren't they in the room?"
Rachel bit her lip, glanced at Nicholas, and then, feeling a bit guilty, softly said, "They are..."
They were all confused, thinking, 'The room isn't that big. Could they all be in the bathroom?' Rachel's gaze kept drifting towards the large bed in the middle as she said, "They're all on the bed," As soon as Matthew heard this, he immediately walked towards the bed, and everyone followed.
As they got closer, they indeed saw several serene sleeping faces, prompting them to breathe a sigh of relief. Matthew lifted a corner of the blanket, ready to pull it back, but Rachel quickly rushed forward to stop him. "Wait a minute, Mr. Nelson." Matthew looked at her, puzzled, as if asking why. Rachel awkwardly forced a smile, thinking, 'They are dressed in such a way. I can't let Matthew pull it back. But what can I do?'
Liam was also getting impatient. "Rachel, what's going on? It's late; we need to take them back to rest."
"Really, you can't pull it back," Rachel said, gritting her teeth. She was also flustered, just holding onto the corner of the blanket tightly, blocking them.
Mitchell seemed to understand and gave a light cough, pulling Matthew and Liam back. "How about we wait outside for a bit?"
Matthew and Liam both pressed their lips and frowned at him. However, Mitchell managed to pull the two of them away. Nicholas followed them out as well.
At the door, Liam directly asked, "Mitchell, what's going on?" Matthew also looked at him sternly. Mitchell thought of the photos Danielle had sent him earlier, his gaze avoiding and his ears turning red. In a slightly hoarse voice, he said, "They might not be wearing much."
Matthew and Liam were both taken aback, thinking, 'We havn't thought of that. Indeed, if those girls are having a sleepover and are lying on the bed, they probably have taken a bath. No wonder Rachel didn't want us to pull back the blanket. It was a good thing we haven't.'
Mitchell didn't explain further. He wasn't entirely sure if everyone in the room had changed into those outfits. The four of them stood outside the room again, waiting.
Rachel was at a loss for what to do. She couldn't change all their clothes by herself. She opened the wardrobe, found a few bathrobes, and put them on Madison, Willow, and Ophelia. Fortunately, they weren't completely asleep, just drunk and dizzy, so they could still cooperate with her a bit. Otherwise, she wouldn't have managed. There were only three bathrobes, so Danielle remained under the blanket. Rachel figured that since they were leaving, Danielle could sleep in the hotel for the night.
Another twenty minutes passed as she got everything sorted. Matthew and the others were getting anxious waiting outside. Finally, when they were about to lose patience, Rachel opened the door, leaning against it and slightly out of breath. "It's done."
When they re-entered the room, they saw their respective girlfriends wearing hotel bathrobes, sitting on the carpet, half-leaning against the bed. Each man bent down, picked up their girls in a princess carry, and walked out. Rachel watched them leave and finally breathed a sigh of relief. As she relaxed, her head felt even dizzier. She leaned against the bed and slowly slid down. Seeing this, Nicholas rushed over and picked her up. Rachel looked up at him, then closed her eyes, resting peacefully in Nicholas' arms as they left the room.
The presidential suite was now left with only Danielle, who was still sound asleep.
