Chapter 336 Caught in the Act

The reality show Ophelia participated in was a rural living experience with a light-hearted and humorous tone. Madison watched and laughed heartily, surprised by Ophelia's efficiency, and kept praising Liam's good judgment. Matthew sat beside her like a backdrop, not really paying attention, just there to accompany Madison, feeling content seeing her so happy.

After watching an episode of the show, it was almost time. Quentin and Hannah had plans to go to the zoo the next day, so they turned off the lights and prepared to sleep.

Lying in bed, Madison voluntarily confessed about calling Patrick today, "Matthew, I called Patrick today."

In the darkness, Matthew responded softly, making Madison feel extremely gentle.

"Why don't you ask me why I called Patrick? Did you already know?" Madison, who was lying flat, turned directly to face Matthew.

Matthew also turned to face her, the two facing each other, eyes meeting, illuminated by the faint moonlight from the window, allowing them to see each other's faces clearly, including their bright eyes.

"So, Mrs. Nelson, what was the reason for calling Patrick today?" Matthew obediently asked, following Madison's lead. Madison felt a bit embarrassed as if she was really checking up on him, "You've been working late recently, and you've been mysteriously answering calls at home, so I called Patrick."

"Mrs. Nelson, do you suspect me of being unfaithful?" Matthew teased with a smile.

"I'm just worried that you're hiding something from me." Madison's voice was soft and sweet, tinged with a hint of grievance. Matthew reached out and pulled her into his arms, looking at his wife's distressed expression, feeling sorry as well, but he couldn't tell the truth yet, "There have been a lot of work matters recently. After this busy period, let's go to Frostpine together. I also want to see where the two little ones were born."

Madison didn't expect Matthew to want to go to Frostpine, which was like her second home. So when she heard Matthew say that, she was extremely happy, "Really, Matthew?"

Matthew smiled and softly replied, "Yes, of course."

Madison hugged him tightly, "Matthew, you're so wonderful."

"Silly, let's sleep now."

The two embraced and fell asleep.

Since the incident where the young girl from the secretary's office caught them being intimate, Willow refused to go upstairs during work hours no matter what Mitchell tried. As a result, Mitchell's girlfriend could only meet him early in the morning or late at night. Mitchell contemplated whether to just move Willow upstairs.

Amy had been observing Mitchell's movements these days and hadn't seen any girls come to see him. She even doubted whether the young girl had made a mistake that day and Mr. Jonah might have accidentally fallen on the sofa. However, the young girl didn't dare to enter Mitchell's office these days, fearing she might get fired.

The incident that day remained a mystery. The young girl insisted she had indeed seen it, and Amy thought she must have been mistaken, "Really, Amy, I really saw the girl's legs, four legs."

"Based on my observations in recent days, there have been no females around Mr. Jonah. He's really good at hiding it. It must be true love if he's protecting it so well," Amy concluded.

In the afternoon, Willow sneaked into the underground parking lot to find Mitchell, who was already waiting in the car. She happily ran over, sat in the passenger seat, and sweetly called out, "Mitchell…" Mitchell's gloom from the whole day dissipated with this sweet call of 'Mitchell.' He had planned to move her upstairs to avoid not seeing her all day, but seeing the smiling Willow in front of him, he compromised again. It's better to let it go; her happiness mattered more.

Mitchell started the car and drove out. Unbeknownst to them, a new colleague from the project department who had just arrived took a wrong turn in the underground parking lot and ended up in the CEO's exclusive parking area. Seeing Willow getting into Mitchell's car and Mitchell sitting inside, smiling at her, the colleague got extremely excited and even took a photo. The photo showed Willow's slightly blurred figure, clearly a girl, along with the color of her clothes and Mitchell's gentle and handsome smile in high definition.

The next day, the female lead in the photo became the hot topic of discussion in various small groups within the company's project department.

[Who took this photo? The female lead is so blurry. How can we know who she is?]

[I feel like she's from our company.]

[Forget the feeling, it's obviously our building.]

[I'll ask people from other departments.]

Subsequently, this photo spread throughout the company's gossip groups, shifting the focus of discussion from guessing the female lead to admiring the male lead's looks.

[Mr. Jonah is so handsome.]

[Yes, he smiles so gently, oh my, it feels like his smile could melt a person.]

[I never expected Mr. Jonah to smile so gently.]

[Mr. Jonah looks even more handsome when he smiles.]

Everyone became engrossed in Mitchell's looks, while the two people involved remained oblivious. As usual, Mitchell bought breakfast early in the morning and picked up Willow. The two of them still went up to the office from the garage, wondering why none of their colleagues had ever seen them together for such a long time. That was because the underground parking lot of the JK building had a separate area designated for Matthew and a few others, and other employees generally didn't go there. If it hadn't been for the new employee getting lost there yesterday, their secret affair would likely never have been discovered. So accidents happen, who would have thought someone would wander into the CEO's exclusive parking area.

Familiar with the routine, Willow waited for Mitchell to take the elevator up before taking the next one herself. As soon as she entered the office, she saw a group of people gathered around. Upon seeing her, Elizabeth excitedly pulled her over, "Willow, come here quickly, big news."

Confused, Willow walked over, and Elizabeth handed her a photo on her phone, saying excitedly, "Mr. Jonah really has a girlfriend. Look, they were caught by a new colleague in the parking lot yesterday. Look at Mr. Jonah's smile. When was the last time you saw him smile like that?"

At first glance, Willow did see Mitchell's profile and even thought, doesn't he often smile like that? Then she noticed the other person in the photo, her own blurred figure. Looking at the familiar silhouette in the photo, she immediately thought, "Uh-oh."
