Chapter 452 Trying on the Wedding Dress

When Willow arrived at Nelson Mansion, Valerie was alone on the first floor. Seeing her come in, she hurriedly greeted her, "Ms. Willow, you're here. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Rachel are upstairs."

"Valerie, where's Grandpa and the others?" Willow asked, a bit puzzled since she didn't see anyone around.

"Uncle Tristan drove Mr. Nelson to pick up Quentin and Hannah from school. They should be back soon," Valerie explained.

Originally, she used to call Quentin and Hannah 'young master' and 'young miss,' but Madison found it too outdated and insisted she call them by their names.

Madison didn't even want to be called 'Ms. Johnson,' preferring Valerie and Uncle Tristan to call her Madison directly. However, Valerie and Tristan still called her 'Ms. Johnson.'

Eventually, Madison had to compromise, but she insisted that the kids be called by their names. Now, Valerie and Tristan were used to calling them 'Quentin and Hannah.' The kids affectionately called them 'Grandma James' and 'Grandpa Liam.'

Willow went upstairs and found Madison and Rachel in the innermost room. As she pushed the door open, she immediately saw a wedding dress on the mannequin. She walked over, wide-eyed and open-mouthed, carefully extending her hand but hesitating to touch it, gently caressing the diamonds on the chest instead.

Then she turned, excitedly grabbing Madison's hand. Willow said in awe, "Madison, this... this is too beautiful."

Seeking confirmation, she turned to Rachel and said, "Right, Rachel? Isn't it beautiful?"

Rachel nodded with a smile. She agreed, "Yes, it's gorgeous. I was stunned the first time I saw it when I brought it back."

Madison suggested Willow try it on to see how it looked and if any adjustments were needed.

Willow smiled and said, "Madison, this is perfect. It doesn't need any changes."

"Try it on first," Madison urged her with a smile.

"Okay." Willow nodded with a smile and agreed. Then she said, "but I didn't bring any adhesive bras."

Such off-shoulder wedding dresses usually require adhesive bras. At this point, Rachel cheerfully took a box out of a bag and handed it to Willow. She excitedly said, "Look what I have for you. I already prepared the adhesive bras."

Willow took it with a smile. She teased, "Rachel, you're like a treasure chest."

Since they were all women, Willow didn't bother going to the bathroom and started changing right in the room.

Rachel helped her with the dress, the zipper and the hem, bustling around meticulously.

Willow smiled at her and said, "Rachel, if I had ordered my wedding dress from your studio, I'd be very satisfied. Your service is so professional."

Not to mention how beautiful the dress was, just the thoughtfulness of bringing adhesive bras and the professional service during the fitting would make any customer feel comfortable.

Rachel laughed modestly. She playfully replied, "Really? I have experience, so I prepare well."

Madison also praised from the side, "Rachel is indeed excellent. The studio owes a lot to her hard work over the years."

"Oh, you two are exaggerating. Anyone can do this kind of service work. The studio's reputation is all thanks to Madison's designs," Rachel said, not taking any credit.

Both she and Madison had unassuming personalities, which might be why their studio had been so successful and their partnership so long-lasting.

It took about twenty minutes for Willow to put on the wedding dress. Because the hem was large, it was a bit cramped in the room, so the three decided to go to the living room downstairs.

Madison led the way, holding the stair railing and walking down slowly, while Rachel held the hem and walked behind Willow. The hem was so large that it would be impossible to walk without someone holding it.

As the three of them walked into the living room, they happened to meet William, who had just brought Quentin and Hannah home. The two kids' eyes widened in amazement as they saw Willow in the beautiful wedding dress.

"Wow, Auntie William, you look so beautiful!" Quentin and Hannah exclaimed in unison.

"I think so too," Madison said with a smile.

"I think so too," Rachel added, and everyone laughed together.

Even William said, "Willow, you look great in this."

The wedding dress was already stunning on the mannequin, but on Willow, it was indescribably beautiful, adding a touch of liveliness and purity that the mannequin lacked.

It was indeed a custom-made dress, designed by Madison to perfectly showcase Willow's strengths, and she had succeeded.

Willow looked like a fairy tale princess in the wedding dress.

Madison, smiling, said, "The dress seems perfect, but it needs a necklace. Let's have Mitchell prepare one."

Since the dress exposed her collarbones, a substantial necklace would make it truly perfect.

Willow had only caught a quick glimpse of herself in the upstairs mirror and hadn't looked carefully, but seeing everyone's amazed expressions and recalling how beautiful the dress looked on the mannequin, she figured it must look just as beautiful on her.

Quentin and Hannah excitedly circled around Willow, repeatedly saying how beautiful their aunt looked.

Hannah, remembering that she and Quentin were flower children at their parents' wedding, stopped and asked Willow, "Auntie Willow, can my brother and I be flower children?"

Quentin also looked up, eyes shining with anticipation, waiting for her answer.

Willow smiled and said, "Of course."

Then, she formally invited them. "Hannah, Quentin, I'm officially inviting you to be my flower children, okay?"

The two kids nodded vigorously, grinning and answering together, "Of course, Auntie Willow."

The room was filled with laughter.

Matthew and Mitchell heard the laughter even before entering the house.

Mitchell had been restless ever since Willow told him she was going to try on the wedding dress. Even Matthew and the others noticed his urgency.

After handling some important matters, Matthew decided to call it a day, saying, "Let's stop here for today. We'll continue tomorrow."

"Ending so early today? I'm not used to it," Patrick said with a smile as he packed his things.

Liam teased him, "Not everyone is a lone wolf like you."

It was obvious Matthew and Mitchell were eager to get home.

"You guys don't understand the joys of being a single noble," Patrick said, whistling and waving as he left.

Mitchell gratefully looked at Matthew, who understood and suggested they go to Nelson Mansion together since Willow was trying on the wedding dress. That's why they got back so early.
