Chapter 395 I'm Willing to Cook for You for a Lifetime

When Willow woke up again, it was already evening. She groggily opened her eyes and noticed that her pajamas had been changed. Outside, she could hear the faint sound of keyboard typing; Mitchell was probably busy with work. She sat up and saw her phone on the bedside table. Picking it up, she found several missed calls from Danielle and many unread Facebook messages. She hadn't had a chance to check the Facebook messages yet and hurriedly called Danielle back.

The phone rang for a while before it was answered. Once connected, Willow urgently called out, "Danielle."

There was some noisy commotion on the other end, like a film set. She heard Danielle say, "Hold on a second." Then, it seemed like she was moving away from the noise, and finally, it became quiet.

"Where are you? On set?" Willow asked.

"Yeah, I was planning to take a break, but then I got a call this afternoon and had to come to work," Danielle complained, then suddenly remembered and asked, "I called you several times, and you didn't answer. You didn't say anything in the group chat, either. What happened? Did Mitchell pick you up last night, and did you guys..."

"My phone was charging," Willow quickly interrupted. Actually, she vaguely heard her phone vibrating in the afternoon, but she was making love, and Mitchell said to ignore it. Later, she was too tired and fell asleep, so she didn't reply to any messages.

"That's what you all say, but who believes it? Mitchell saw you in that seductive uniform and didn't turn on? You really need to take him to see a doctor." Danielle teased. Since she and Willow had been best friends since childhood, their conversations were always sexually candid.

"No, Mitchell is perfectly normal," Willow said softly. She pondered, 'He is really normal. He has no need to see a doctor at this point.' She couldn't help but blush as scenes from their lovemaking flashed through her mind.

Danielle gasped on the other end. "So, you had sex?"

"Danielle!" Willow couldn't help but call out, hoping Danielle would calm down a bit. After all, she was on set, a place full of gossip.

"Don't worry. I'm hiding in the makeup room by myself. Congratulations, you finally took the initiative to have sex with Mitchell." Danielle teased with a laugh.

"I didn't take the initiative; Mitchell did," Willow blushed and whispered in defense.

"Who would've thought Mitchell was that wild?" Danielle laughed heartily, not treating herself as an outsider at all. She couldn't help but think, 'Mitchell is a man in his thirties without a sex life. How could Willow handle it from last night until now?'

The two chatted idly and then moved on to this morning. Danielle complained to Willow about how unlucky she was, "Cheryl is absolutely nuts. Early in the morning, I wasn't even fully awake, and he inexplicably came knocking. I groggily went to open the door, not expecting it to be him. He got an eyeful, seeing me in that uniform."

"Why are you always unhappy when you see him? He's usually quite polite to us," Willow said. She thought, 'These two were really like enemies.'

"I told the front desk to let him settle the bill himself, and I ordered the most expensive steak from their hotel before leaving." Danielle fumed at the mention of Cheryl.

"I even took the hotel's bathrobe with me. Should I return it?" Willow laughed, knowing this was exactly the kind of thing Danielle would do: staying at Cheryl's hotel and making the him settle the bill personally.

"Return it? No way. I'd rather throw it away than give it back to him. It makes me so mad." Danielle fumed. Willow quickly tried to calm her down. "Alright, don't be mad. I'll treat you to dinner tomorrow."

"Who knows if I'll have to work overtime tomorrow? Anyway, I have to go now; someone needs me. We'll talk later," Danielle said before quickly hanging up, evidently very busy.

Mitchell heard Willow laugh and walked in from outside. He saw her lying on the bed, rolling around while talking on the phone, presumably with Danielle. He stood at the door, waiting for her to finish the call before approaching.

As soon as Willow hung up, she turned over and saw him standing by the bed. She sweetly called out, "Mitchell." Mitchell felt breathless and turned his face away.

Since it was Willow's first time to have sex, he had to consider her physical well-being.

His Adam's apple bobbed a few times before he said in a hoarse voice, "Get up and eat."

Willow felt like a princess, with everything handed to her on a silver platter. She had been in bed almost continuously since last night. Although half of that time was spent making love with Mitchell, she hadn't really gotten out of bed. She sat up and moved a bit, feeling genuinely uncomfortable this time. As she tried to get out of bed, her legs was so weak that she fell back onto the bed. Mitchell scooped her up and carried her directly to a chair by the dining table before setting her down.

Willow's face was flushed as she looked at the delicious spread on the table. She felt not only warm inside but also cherished. She looked up at Mitchell and said, "Mitchell, why are you so good to me?"

Mitchell pinched her rosy cheeks gently, smiling. "Willow, if I'm not good to you, who else would I be good to?" He then handed her a plate of food. Willow happily took it and started eating with joy. Watching her eat so happily, Mitchell couldn't help but smile.

Mitchell thought to himself, 'If love is as simple as three meals a day, then I hope to cook for you for a lifetime.'

After dinner, Mitchell still had some work to do. Willow lay in bed watching videos while Mitchell brought his laptop into the room to work. The scene was one of perfect harmony, with both of them in sync. Mitchell occasionally looked up from his emails to glance at Willow on the bed. Sometimes, their eyes would meet, and they would share a smile before returning to their tasks. Mitchell worked until midnight, and since Willow had slept a lot during the day, she wasn't very sleepy and ended up watching a movie, staying up until midnight as well.

After turning off the lights, they cuddled up to sleep. Willow, unable to fall asleep, kept moving around in Mitchell's arms. After a while, she heard Mitchell's voice behind her, with that familiar husky tone from earlier in the day.

"Willow, stop moving," Mitchel said.

Willow immediately froze and lay still, trying to sleep.

Indeed, her body couldn't handle another round of lovemaking.
