Chapter 356 Enthusiastic Online Friends

Willow lay in bed unable to sleep, listening to Mitchell's occasional murmurs. She inexplicably recalled the conversations with Daniel and Ophelia in the group during the day, and some erotic thoughts started to surface in her mind, making her feel increasingly uncomfortable and flushed. She buried her face in the pillow, feeling the heat rising all over her body.

After about half an hour of busyness, Mitchell finished handling work emails and stood up from his desk. Not hearing Willow's voice, he assumed she had fallen asleep. Walking to the bedside, he prepared to grab his pajamas to take a shower, only to find Willow lying on the bed, legs swinging in the air, face buried in the pillow.

‘Why isn't she asleep yet?’ Mitchell furrowed his brows slightly and softly called out, "Willow, why aren't you asleep?"

Lost in her thoughts, Willow didn't notice Mitchell approaching until she heard his voice, startling her. She sat up abruptly, her face blushing, luckily hidden by the dim light. She looked at Mitchell with innocent eyes, saying, "Mitchell..."

Her soft and sweet voice was particularly enticing in the darkness.

Mitchell cleared his throat, picked up his pajamas, and repeated, "Why aren't you asleep?"

Unable to meet his gaze, Willow glanced around and replied, "I probably woke up late today, so I couldn't fall asleep."

Mitchell nodded. "You have work tomorrow, get some sleep now. I'll go take a shower."

"Okay." Willow obediently nodded.

Mitchell headed to the bathroom with his pajamas, while Willow buried her head back into the pillow. She thought she caught a glimpse of Mitchell's collarbone just now.

Memories of the last time she got drunk flooded back, realizing she might have turned pornographic.

Turning over, she turned off all the lights in the room, and tucked herself in tightly, forcing herself to fall asleep quickly.

When Mitchell finished his shower and opened the bathroom door, he paused. ‘Why are the lights off? She said just now that she couldn't sleep but now she’s sleeping soundly?’

Puzzled, Mitchell walked over and, illuminated by the moonlight outside, watched Willow who was with closed eyes and breathing evenly. He thought to himself, ‘She's really asleep now.’

Moving to the other side of the bed, Mitchell lifted his blanket and lay down. They still slept with separate blankets to ensure a good night's rest.

Sleeping next to someone one cared about brought a sense of peace, and Mitchell soon drifted off to sleep. In the darkness, Willow quietly opened her eyes, turned over gently, propped herself up with one hand, and reached out with the other to touch Mitchell's collarbone. As soon as she made contact, she quickly withdrew her hand as if she was shocked, but couldn't resist reaching out again.

Finally making contact, she covered her mouth, chuckled secretly, and then contentedly closed her eyes to sleep.

Unaware that he had been inappropriately touched by Willow, Mitchell slept on.

The next morning, Madison woke up to see the police announcement and the online posts of the person who had apologized. Feeling a sense of security, she thought that after clarifying things on TV last night, this matter would come to an end and gradually fade from the memory of netizens.

She didn't expect Matthew to do so much. Last night, he mentioned calling Victor, which must be related to this matter.

Opening Facebook, Madison realized she had become popular. Countless messages flooded in, all asking for the original images, and she saw that Matthew had tagged her in a Facebook post.

Not only did Matthew post on Facebook, but the company's official website and social media also shared their marriage certificate photos. Sitting on the bed, looking at the man sleeping beside her, Madison's eyes welled up with affectionateness.

The demands of the online community were overwhelming, but she could still share a few more photos.

Digging out some photos taken at the beach earlier, Madison carefully selected a few where Quentin and Hannah's faces weren't visible. She then posted on Facebook, using the same caption as Matthew, including a heart emoji and tagging Matthew's Facebook. Satisfied, she finally put down her phone.

With the storm settled, they were also going to pick up the two little ones from Nelson Mansion today.

She got out of bed, gently leaving to freshen up before heading downstairs. Just as she finished washing her face, she received a call from Rachel. Worried it might be urgent studio business, she quickly answered.

"Rachel, what's up?" she asked anxiously, as Rachel rarely called her this early.

"Madison, maybe you shouldn't come to the studio for a while. Just email the design drafts directly to me," Rachel said with a hint of helplessness.

Concerned, Madison asked, "Is someone still waiting there and refusing to leave?"

"No, it's just that someone leaked the studio's address to those enthusiastic online friends. Now there's a long queue of people wanting gowns made by you. We've been receiving them since morning, and it's overwhelming. Some are also here to see Quentin and Hannah. So, you and the others better stay away for now. I'll handle the orders," Rachel explained.

Relieved, Madison understood the situation.

"Alright, I won't come over for now. Thank you for your hard work, Rachel. If they are willing to wait, we'll try to accommodate them all," Madison said, not for the money but to ensure customers get what they love. More orders meant longer production times, but if customers were patient, she could manage them all slowly.

"I understand, Madison. Take care of yourself. Mr. Nelson doesn't want you to overwork. He even went on TV asking people not to come and take care of the business. The online community is still very enthusiastic," Rachel said with a smile.

After discussing some studio matters, they hung up. Madison thought that without Rachel's help, the studio might not have survived. She was only good at designing, while Rachel handled everything else. Running a company, big or small, involved a lot of diverse tasks, not just drawing sketches to sell clothes.

Especially in the early days of the studio, it was extremely challenging.

When Rachel and Nicholas got married, Madison knew she had to prepare a big gift. She silently looked forward to their wedding.
