Chapter 360 Exposure
Elizabeth saw Mitchell coming in and quickly stood up, awkwardly greeting, "Mr. Jonah, hello."
Mitchell nodded slightly in response, his gaze immediately sticking to Willow. Willow also stood up when she saw Mitchell. "Mitchell, you're here." Then she ran over and held his hand, and the two sat down together.
Elizabeth stared with wide eyes at the two. They were so intimate that she felt embarrassed. 'Is Mr. Jonah so approachable in private? It's like two different people. And Willow's shy appearance… The two of them haven't taken their eyes off each other since Mr. Jonah came in. It's so embarrassing for me to come over and have a meal with them,' she thought.
After sitting down next to Willow, Mitchell asked softly, "Have you ordered?"
"Not yet. We just arrived," Willow said.
Mitchell handed the menu to Elizabeth. "Let Elizabeth order first."
Elizabeth, completely flattered, took the menu. She couldn't believe that her boss was treating her to a meal.
Mitchell was concerned that she might feel awkward and said, "Order whatever you like. Don't be shy. Today you are Willow's friend. No need to be as cautious as you are at work."
Elizabeth nodded repeatedly, still feeling somewhat unreal. She didn't dare to order too much. She just chose a signature dish and handed the menu back. Mitchell took the menu and whispered to Willow, "Do you want salmon? Theirs seems to be good." They leaned in close, heads together. Willow looked at the menu and nodded gently. "Okay."
Mitchell would ask for Willow's opinion for each dish he ordered. They looked at the menu together, adding several dishes according to Willow's preferences before handing it to the waiter.
Elizabeth sat across from the two, feeling overwhelmed by the love in the air. She secretly took out her phone to snap a photo of Mitchell and Willow ordering, with their heads close together, capturing the moment Mitchell smilingly looked at Willow.
During this lunch, Elizabeth not only had her fill of Japanese cuisine but also witnessed scenes of intimacy between the two.
'Being single isn't a big deal, but catching those two showing off their love is indeed a rare sight,' she thought.
After lunch, Mitchell didn't return to the office with the two. He had something to attend to outside, so Willow and Elizabeth walked back. When they parted ways, Mitchell told Willow to wait for him after work, as he would come to pick her up.
As it was almost time to leave work, Mitchell messaged Willow on Facebook, saying he hadn't finished yet. Originally, he wanted Willow to take a cab back first, but she decided to wait for him at the office. Around 8 p.m., Mitchell finished his work outside and called Willow.
"Willow, I'm in the company parking lot. Come down," Mitchell said on the phone. He hadn't eaten dinner yet and rushed back immediately after finishing his business.
"Okay, Mitchell." Willow cheerfully packed up her things, turned off her computer, grabbed her bag, and took the elevator downstairs.
It was quite late, and there weren't many people from Willow's project team working overtime. Mitchell had parked his car right by the elevator entrance in the garage. He stood leaning against his car and expectantly looked toward the elevator doors.
As soon as he saw Willow, his face lit up with a smile. He strode over, took her bag, and pulled her into a hug, planting a kiss on her rosy lips before asking with a smile, "Did you eat something to tide you over?"
Willow wrapped her arms around his waist and smiled. "I had a piece of bread. Did you eat?"
"Not yet. I headed back as soon as I was done. What do you feel like eating tonight?" Mitchell hugged Willow as they walked to the passenger side, opening the door for her before circling around to the driver's seat.
Turning his head to her, he continued, "What do you want to eat tonight?"
"Let's cook at home," Willow replied without hesitation.
"Alright, let's cook at home." Mitchell smiled and started the car to head back.
Believing it was late and no one was around, they didn't hold back in the garage. They kissed and embraced each other without reservation.
However, the office gossip chat group exploded that night.
This time, it was high-definition, uncensored frontal photos, and not just one. There were three photos in total, one of Mitchell hugging Willow and kissing her, one of Willow hugging Mitchell and looking up at him with starry eyes, and the last one of the two looking at each other with a longing gaze after getting into the car.
Unlike the previous sneaky shots, these three photos that went viral were taken by a professional photographer from the entertainment department, so they were exceptionally high-quality and artistic. Everyone could feel the sweet love between the two through the screen.
The photos started circulating from the entertainment department staff group. When Daniel saw the photos, he immediately forwarded them to Willow and also sent a message on Facebook.
Daniel: [Willow, you're getting cozy with Mitchell in the underground parking lot. It's the first time I've seen Mitchell smile so lasciviously. Did you go to his place again tonight?]
Willow only saw the message after going to bed. After she and Mitchell came home, Mitchell cooked spaghetti. After eating, she went to take a shower, and Mitchell continued to work on documents. When she finished showering and lay in bed preparing to check her phone, she discovered the big news.
Without even replying to Daniel, she saw the high-definition photos and ran to find Mitchell with her phone in hand.
Seeing Willow rushing over in a panic, Mitchell asked anxiously, "What's wrong? What happened?"
Willow showed him the photos on her phone, her voice trembling. "Mitchell, we were photographed again today." She had underestimated everyone's curiosity.
Mitchell looked at the photos seriously, and with a smirk, he said, "Not bad. They seemed like professional work, much better than the shots last time."
"These were taken by the photographer from Daniel's entertainment department, and they are clear this time," Willow muttered as Mitchell pulled her to sit on his lap. She buried her head in his shoulder, feeling down.
"But you already told your colleague, didn't you?" Mitchell comforted her softly.
"I felt embarrassed to lie to her again," Willow explained.
"There's no difference now between one person knowing and everyone knowing," Mitchell said.
Willow looked up, wide-eyed, and asked, "Really?"
"Yes, it will be the talk for a couple of days, and then it will pass. It's just curiosity for now." Deep down, Mitchell was relieved that they didn't have to sneak around anymore.
