Chapter 530 Little Mikey is Finally Born

Mitchell stepped over and took Willow's hand, giving her a lot of strength.

With red-rimmed eyes, he softly comforted her, "Honey, don't be afraid. I'm here. We'll bring our baby into the world together. I asked the doctor, and and you'll be getting an epidural soon, then you can rest for a bit."

Seeing Mitchell, Willow felt much more at ease and wasn't as scared as before.

Mitchell stayed with her the whole time. When she was dilated to three centimeters, the anesthesiologist came to give her the epidural. She had heard that the needle for the epidural was particularly thick and long, and it was administered through the back. She didn't see it herself but noticed that Mitchell's eyes were red again.

She felt that shortly after the injection, the pain really subsided. She understood the saying she read online, that the epidural was truly a blessing for women.

After the epidural, the nurse said she could close her eyes and rest for a while.

Willow couldn't really sleep, but under Mitchell's gentle coaxing, she closed her eyes to gather her strength. Before resting, she ate a piece of chocolate Mitchell brought and drank half a bottle of an energy drink.

After Mitchell went into the delivery room, only Jessica was left waiting outside. She took out her phone to notify everyone. She called Willow's parents, Lloyd and Patricia, who immediately rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news. Then she called her own husband and daughter.

Richard left work to head to the hospital.

Danielle was rehearsing with her scriptwriting teacher when she got the call. She quickly packed her script into her bag and said urgently, "Oh my gosh, my sister-in-law is in labor. I need to go now. I am so sorry."

Before anyone could react, she had already dashed out. Coincidentally, she had sent her car for maintenance that morning. She tried to hail a ride on her phone, but no one accepted the request. Just as she was about to turn back to borrow a car, she bumped into someone's chest.

"Where are you rushing off to?" Cheryl's casual voice sounded above her.

Danielle glared at him, covering her forehead, and snapped, "None of your business. Move aside! I don't have time to chat."

Cheryl frowned but didn't argue with her. Instead, he asked kindly, "It's hard to get a ride at this time. Where are you going? I'll take you."

Danielle raised an eyebrow and looked at him suspiciously. "What's with you today? Why are you being so nice?"

She even took a step back warily.

Cheryl couldn't help but roll his eyes, and if one looked closely, one could see a blush behind his ears.

He said loudly, "When am I not nice to you?"

Danielle stepped forward and slapped Cheryl on the shoulder. "That's more like it. I thought you had changed today. Where's your car? Take me to the hospital. Willow is about to give birth."

She said as she pulled Cheryl's hand and walked out.

Cheryl's car was parked in the lot outside the set.

Danielle knew his car well and walked straight to it, muttering, "Why do you keep coming to the set lately? Got your eye on some pretty girl?"

"I'm here for work, okay?" Cheryl suddenly snapped, angrily opening the car door and getting into the driver's seat.

Danielle found his reaction odd but held back for the sake of getting a ride to the hospital. She made a face at Cheryl and got into the passenger seat.

Meanwhile, Lloyd reached out to Matthew and William.

Once Matthew knew about that, he sent a message in the group chat, so everyone was aware.

They all rushed to the hospital, gathering outside the delivery room, waiting for good news from the doctor.

After the epidural, Willow dozed off for a bit. When she was dilated to nine centimeters, the doctor turned off the epidural, and the contractions returned. Willow remained silent, but her face turned pale from the pain.

Mitchell, watching from the side, felt heartbroken and became even more determined that they would only have this one child.

The pain of childbirth was enough for his wife to endure once.

The contractions became more frequent, but since it was a natural labor, the pain was bearable.

The doctor had mentioned that if labor didn't start within two weeks, they would need to induce.

Willow had been worried about that, so she was quite happy when labor started naturally.

Looking at Mitchell holding her hand, she knew what he was thinking. After a contraction, she comforted him, "Honey, it's okay. It'll be over soon."

Mitchell, with red-rimmed eyes and a face full of concern, replied in a muffled voice, "Yeah."

When the doctor said she was fully dilated and could start pushing, Willow felt relieved.

The doctor had told her to hold back during the contractions, but now she could finally push.

Willow had followed the doctor's rhythm, and with Mitchell by her side, the delivery went surprisingly quickly. Soon, she heard the baby's cries.

The doctor showed her the baby and praised her for cooperating well, making the delivery smooth.

A 9.48-pound baby boy.

The doctor had expected some difficulty but was surprised at how smoothly and quickly it went.

Mitchell, looking at the exhausted Willow, buried his head in her shoulder.

Willow felt a wetness and realized Mitchell was crying again.

"Honey, wasn't I amazing? 9.48 pounds, and I gave birth to him," she said weakly but softly.

"Yeah, you're the best mom, honey," Mitchell gently nodded and replied softly.

They stayed in the observation room for two more hours before being moved to a regular room.

However, the group waiting outside had already been informed by the doctor right after Willow gave birth to a 9.48-pound baby boy.

Patrick exclaimed at the door, "Willow is amazing. Mitchell and Matthew both had boys."

Then, he turned to Liam and said, "Liam, you might be the next to get married. Have a daughter for me to play with."

Liam gave him a look as if he were an idiot and ignored him.

Patrick had no idea why he thought Liam would be the next to get married.

Ophelia didn't come with Liam. She was still on a show and didn't know Willow had given birth.

Liam knew her schedule and didn't call her, just sent a message on Facebook.

William chuckled, "Whether it's a boy or a girl, they're all precious. It's all good."

Both sets of parents smiled and agreed, "Yes, boys and girls are both wonderful."
