Chapter 384 Uniformed Outfits

"What's with these clothes?" Madison asked, walking over to the bed and picking up a skirt. "Danielle, did you get the wrong size? This is so short!"

"It's not too short; it's just the style," Danielle replied as she sorted out the outfits and handed them to everyone. The group looked at the clothes in their hands, bewildered. How were they supposed to wear these?

Recognizing the clothes, Willow looked at Danielle and then back at the clothes in her hands before finally voicing her suspicion. "Danielle, did you buy these from that store we went to last time?"

"They were having a buy-one-get-one-free sale, so I got one for each of you. I picked the most conservative ones. Besides being a bit short, they're actually quite nice. Hurry up and change; I picked these especially for tonight's girls' party," Danielle explained, urging everyone to change. All clothes were adorned in white shirts, distinguished by varying hues in their bow ties and skirts.

"Willow, how do you know where Danielle bought these? What are you two hiding from us?" Ophelia asked. Willow blushed, thinking about the two outfits still hidden at the bottom of her drawer. Danielle quickly intervened, "Ophelia, we'll talk about that later."

"Do we really have to wear these?" Rachel asked, holding the outfit Danielle had handed her. Madison also had a set and felt it burning in her hands.

"Just try them on. It's only us here, no one else. If you don't like it, you can change back. Okay?" Danielle persuaded, pushing Madison into the bathroom. About five or six minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Madison stepped out in the uniform Danielle had picked. The shirt was fine, but the skirt was really short. She tugged at it uncomfortably. "Danielle, this skirt is too short. I'm going to change back," she said, turning to go back to the bathroom. Danielle grabbed her. "Wait, Madison. Everyone, look. Doesn't she look great? It's mature yet youthful. If Matthew saw this, he'd be head over heels." Danielle spun Madison around to show off the outfit, proving her taste was impeccable.

Seeing Madison in the outfit, the others felt less resistant. After all, it was just them in the room, and with a bit of alcohol, they all felt bolder. One by one, they went to the bathroom to change into their uniforms. Danielle enthusiastically took pictures with her phone for the group. They were all attractive and well-dressed, making for a stunning sight.

Meanwhile, Matthew and the guys were at a bar, drinking. They had also invited Patrick and Victor. Victor had recently flown in from abroad to attend Matthew's wedding and planned to stay in Horizon City for a while.

They had no idea the women were planning to stay up all night. After a while of drinking, they got bored. Patrick suggested playing poker, and soon enough, they started a game right there in the bar. Upstairs, there was a private room with a poker table, their exclusive game room, set up for times like these when they felt like playing while drinking.

As soon as Patrick walked in, he eagerly sat down at the poker table, shouting about winning back the money he lost to the others last time. "Hurry up, tonight I'm definitely winning back what I lost."

Patrick was initially uninterested in poker, but after playing once, he found it quite fun and always wanted to join in.

"You say that every time," Matthew said, sitting down and calling him out without mercy.

"Tell us, which car are you planning to lose to us this time?" Liam teased with a laugh.

Mitchell and Victor walked in and immediately plopped down on the couch, letting Nicholas take the table with the other three. The two of them started playing games on their phones.

After one round, Patrick lost again. Liam laughed and said, "So, Patrick, have you decided which car from your garage you're giving up?"

"Keep going; it's not over yet. Why does it have to be me who loses?" Patrick protested. Usually, Mitchell was at the table, and they would team up against Patrick, so he always lost. But tonight was different; with a new player, the dynamic had changed. He was determined to win this time.

"Alright, let's continue," Matthew said with a smirk, looking at Patrick, who shivered at Matthew's smile. It was charming, but Patrick wished it wasn't directed at him. He had a sinking feeling he was going to lose again.

Mitchell, sitting on the couch, played a few rounds of his game before he couldn't resist opening Facebook and sending Willow a sticker of a cute little girl with the text: [Where's my cutie?] Willow had sent it to him before, and he had saved it because he thought the girl was adorable. In his mind, if they had a daughter someday, she would surely be just as cute.

After sending the sticker, he had yet to receive a reply. So, he lost interest in his game. They were usually inseparable in the evenings, and being apart for just a few hours felt like an eternity. Victor noticed his slight frown and lack of focus, put down the phone, and patted Mitchell on the shoulder. "What's up? You seem distracted. It's only been a few hours since you and Willow parted," Victor said, hitting the nail on the head. Mitchell's demeanor clearly showed he was in love.

Mitchell turned to Victor, smiling. "You caught that, huh?" Victor smiled back, and they clinked their glasses. Among the five of them, Victor was the most observant. He had long noticed Mitchell's feelings for Willow and vice versa. So, when he heard they were together, he wasn't surprised at all. He had always thought it was just a matter of time. Whenever Willow was with them, she would always hover around Mitchell, and the way she looked at Mitchell was different, which was shy and affectionate, unlike the straightforward way she looked at the rest of them. As for Mitchell, he was indulgent, showering Willow with affection and care. If that wasn't love, what was it?

To Victor, their relationship had always been obvious.
