Chapter 242 Food
Mitchell sighed softly and looked ahead, not seeing Daniel anywhere. He needed to find out where she had gone in the crowd. He lowered his head and said to Willow, "There are too many people here. Let's go outside first and call them later." Willow nodded and didn't want to squeeze into the crowd since she couldn't see anything anyway.
Willow followed Mitchell as they walked out. Mitchell stood by her side, helping her fend off the crowd. After they went out, they found a snack shop and sat down.
The fried chicken cutlet sold at the snack stall looked delicious to Willow, who watched someone eating it nearby. Mitchell noticed her staring intently at the couple's table next to them, where the chicken cutlet was placed. He waved to the shopkeeper and said, "Shopkeeper, one order of chicken cutlet, please." Willow turned to Mitchell with a smirk and asked, "Mitchell, do you also want to try the chicken cutlet?" Willow wondered why Mitchell, who usually hated chicken cutlets, suddenly seemed interested. Mitchell smiled and nodded, "It looks good. Let me give it a try."
Soon, the shopkeeper brought a freshly cooked chicken cutlet to the table. Willow usually enjoyed eating these chicken cutlets and cheap food with Daniel, but she would always receive criticism from Mitchell whenever he caught them. So, this time, she resisted the temptation to buy it. If she were alone or with Daniel, she would have eagerly walked up to the shopkeeper and ordered one.
Mitchell opened his fork and knife. Although the environment here couldn't compare to fancy restaurants, it was still relatively clean. Mitchell picked up a piece of chicken cutlet and put it in his mouth in front of Willow's gaze. "Delicious, it tastes good." This thing was quite tasty to eat, and it was no wonder that Willow and Daniel both liked it. Willow couldn't help but drool as she looked at the portion of chicken cutlet.
Seeing her drooling, Mitchell secretly smiled and pushed his plate of chicken cutlets toward her. "Go ahead, eat it. I bought it for you anyway. I don't really enjoy eating these." He wanted to try it because Willow and Daniel always loved eating these cheap delicacies, and he wanted to understand what made them so enticing.
Willow hesitated for a moment and then immediately smiled brightly, saying, "Thank you, Mitchell." She eagerly opened her fork and started eating. Just as she was happily eating, she heard a cry, "Willow, Mitchell, you guys are hiding here eating, huh?"
Mitchell and Willow looked up simultaneously and saw Ophelia and Liam walking over. The two of them joined them at the table. Ophelia was wearing a hat and a mask, but as soon as she sat down, she took off the mask and looked at the chicken cutlet in front of Willow. "It smells so good; I want one too." She then waved for the shopkeeper to bring her an order of chicken cutlets.
The shopkeeper quickly delivered another portion of the chicken cutlet. Ophelia forced Liam to take a bite despite his initial resistance. Eventually, he gave in. Liam may not have wanted to admit it, but it indeed tasted delicious.
The handsome man and beautiful woman at the table attracted the attention of passersby. Two women were eating messily without caring about their appearances, while two handsome men patiently stood by, doting on them.
Willow quickly finished a bowl of stinky tofu and felt people constantly turning their heads to look at them. She was about to remind Ophelia if she was recognized without wearing a mask when two high school girls came running toward them. The two young ladies seemed excited and held hands, staring at Ophelia for a while before one of them nervously asked, "Hello, are you Ophelia?"
Willow thought it was a disaster to be discovered before she could remind her, but she wasn't wearing makeup today, so she looked slightly younger than what people see on TV. Ophelia calmly swallowed the last piece of chicken cutlet in her mouth and then turned her head with a smiling look at the two girls, saying in a sweet voice, "I'm sorry, but you've mistaken us. Do we really look alike? I'm often mistaken for someone else." After speaking, she even winked at the two young ladies.
The two young ladies nodded vigorously and said, "Sorry, miss. But you really look so much like Ophelia. You're the most similar person I've ever seen to her." The two young ladies walked away holding hands, still underestimating, "That lady really looks like her."
"Yeah, but this lady seems a little younger. Ophelia is a cool woman; you see her on interviews and shows; she rarely talks and doesn't smile much."
"Yeah, yeah, this young lady smiles so gently, and her voice sounds nice. I thought I ran into a celebrity when I went back to my hometown."
"The guy next to her must be her boyfriend. He's so handsome. But he looks fierce, completely incompatible with the sweet style of the young lady."
Willow burst into laughter upon hearing this. Ophelia truly had talent. She actually claimed not to be Ophelia, and people actually believed it. Perhaps they couldn't believe that a big celebrity would sit at a street stall eating chicken cutlet. Hahaha, especially when they said Brother Four wasn't a good match for Ophelia. Brother Four must be furious.
Liam glanced at Willow, who immediately covered her mouth and widened her eyes. Brother Four was angry, but she couldn't hold back~
He looked at Ophelia again, who was leaning on the table with her shoulders visibly shaking, trying to hold back her laughter. Liam's face became even darker. How could this brat be so sweet and lovable? These people were all deceived by her appearance. At home, she was lazy, eating and sleeping like a pig. It wasn't easy to even get her to move a bit.
Mitchell's performance was coming to an end, and the crowd at the stage began to disperse as people started heading home. It seemed like the performance was over. Just as he was about to call Patrick and the others on his phone, he noticed Patrick and Daniel walking toward him. Daniel rushed over angrily, saying, "How could you guys be eating here without calling me?"
Mitchell spoke up, "You were running around everywhere. How could we find you? Let's go. The performance is over. It's time to go back." Daniel didn't care what his brother said and walked straight to the food stall, ordering a chicken cutlet and asking the shopkeeper to pack it for her.
Patrick walked with a peculiar stride and found a chair to sit on. "Oh man, my legs are numb. Daniel is amazing; she managed to squeeze into the front and find a seat in the front row. Meanwhile, I squatted next to her all night."
