Chapter 243 End of the Vacation

Liam took a look and noticed that someone was missing. "Mitchell, where's Ella?"

Only then did Mitchell remember that they had yet to see Ella since the crowd dispersed. "I'll call her." Mitchell took out his phone and dialed Ella's number. She answered after a moment.

"Ella, where are you? We're all getting ready to go back."

Ella seemed baffled. She had been following behind Mitchell the whole time but suddenly couldn't see anyone and got stuck in the middle of the crowd. She couldn't back out or squeeze in. She had intended to call Mitchell, but the crowd was so packed that she couldn't even extend her hand, so she was forced to watch the entire performance. When the show ended and everyone started walking out, she managed to free herself and was about to call Mitchell when she received his call. After hanging up the phone, she hurriedly ran to the shop to find him.

She thought only Mitchell was there, so she hurriedly ran out of the crowd, wanting to see him. But before she reached the shop, she saw everyone from far away already there. Ella slowed down and walked over, saying, "I'm sorry for making you all wait."

Daniel stared at the food the shopkeeper had packed for her. "It's okay. Besides, the food I bought has just been packed, too." Daniel took the fried chicken from the shopkeeper and happily said to everyone, "Let's go, let's go back."

Everyone stood up and headed toward the parking area together. Ella walked behind Daniel and looked at the packed food, frowning slightly. "Daniel, cheap food isn't clean. You better not eat it. It can easily give you diarrhea."

Daniel stopped and turned around. "Sorry, I love cheap food. My stomach is pretty strong, unlike yours, which is so delicate." Then he turned and walked away without looking back.

Ella stood in place, frustrated, looking at Mitchell. "I was just trying to remind her; it's really unsanitary," she said.

Mitchell glanced ahead and saw Daniel angrily pulling Willow along. "It's okay to indulge once in a while. Eating too healthily isn't good either," he said, continuing to walk forward. "Let's go."

Ella felt angry inside. She was trying to help, but nobody appreciated it. She would never eat cheap food like that. It looked unclean.

The group returned to the villa, where Madison and the others were already asleep. It was getting late, and everyone went back to their rooms. After Daniel went to his room, he quickly washed his hands, laid out the food, and then sat cross-legged on a chair, enjoying his delicious meal. He took a bite of the chicken cutlet and exclaimed, "Wow, it's really delicious. Willow, do you want a bite?" Willow, holding her pajamas and preparing to take a shower, replied, "I just had a chicken cutlet; I can't eat anymore. You go ahead, I'll go shower."

"You've already had a chicken cutlet? I also want to taste it; it looks so mouth-watering." Daniel couldn't wait, so he took another piece of chicken cutlet and put it in his mouth, exaggerating how delicious it was.

Willow smiled and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. After Willow finished showering, she used a towel to dry her hair and walked over to Daniel. "Daniel, you're eating too fast. Have you finished all of it?" Willow looked at the table, seeing only a small amount of food left.

"You're not eating. It'll be a waste if I don't finish it. It's really delicious, especially when you brush it with this chili sauce. It's even better than the barbecue near the school. You should really try it; it's the last bit," Daniel tempted.

Willow stared at the kebabs on the table and couldn't resist saying, "Don't eat anymore. Leave the rest for me." She then sat down directly.

"I knew it. Ella would never understand the taste of such earthly delights," Daniel couldn't help but criticize Ella. Her noble demeanor was infuriating. Thinking about this kind of person becoming his sister in the future made him feel sad.

After finishing their late-night snack, the two of them finished brushing their teeth and turned off the lights, lying in their beds. Neither of them wanted to sleep. Daniel was thinking about how the vacation would be over tomorrow and how he would have to go back to work, feeling reluctant. Willow, too, kept her eyes open and stared at the ceiling, her mind filled with scenes of her time alone with Mitchell over the past few days, which were unforgettable.

In the darkness, both of them sighed at the same time and realized the other was still awake.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?" Willow asked Daniel.

"I don't want to sleep; tomorrow, we have to go back to work," Daniel said with a sense of loss. "And you, why aren't you asleep either?"

Willow blushed and hesitated for a moment, but luckily, it was too dark to see. She couldn't tell Daniel, "I've been thinking about your brother~" She casually found an excuse, "I ate too much for dinner, so I feel a bit full."

Unable to sleep, the two of them began chatting. Suddenly, Daniel asked, "Willow, has Declan been contacting you lately?" Willow remembered that she had received several Facebook messages and missed calls from him over the past few days. Whenever he called, she was out playing and didn't answer. When she finally saw them, she didn't feel like responding. He also sent several Facebook messages asking why she hadn't been to work, and she came up with an excuse, saying she was on a business trip, so he didn't bother her anymore.

"Not much contact," Willow thought for a moment and replied.

"What is he trying to do? He's not trying to tempt you. Be careful, and don't let yourself be fooled by his 'sister' calling and his appearance," Daniel cautioned her, worried.

Willow smiled, "What are you saying? We've only met a few times in total. Besides, I don't like younger guys."

Daniel remained silent. Yes, Willow didn't like younger guys; she liked mature and stable ones like her brother. When she got back, she had to find an opportunity to flip through her brother's wallet to see whose photo was in there. Ever since she learned about this news, she had wanted to know the truth.

The two of them got tired while talking and fell asleep because they stayed up late. They slept through until it was bright daylight.

In the morning, everyone started packing their luggage. Hannah Garcia was still reluctant to leave. She watched Madison put her clothes in the suitcase and burst into loud sobs. Matthew hugged and comforted her for a long time, saying that they were going to Rivertown Bay to the beach. Only then did the Young Girl start laughing and happily began organizing her things. Madison blamed Matthew for spoiling Hannah Garcia too much, saying, "You've spoiled Nuonuo. She wasn't this sentimental before."

After comforting his daughter, Matthew hugged his wife from behind and planted a kiss on her cheek. "From now on, let's love both our daughter and wife together."

"Then you can pack your things," Madison pretended to be angry and said. Matthew actually started folding clothes and packing the suitcase. Still, every time he did something, he would call Madison over and ask if he folded it correctly, if he did well, if any adjustments were needed, and where to put this or that. The key was that he did it with a serious look on his face. Madison watched his slow movements and couldn't help but do it herself. By the time he finished packing, it would be dark outside. "You go downstairs and have breakfast with Quentin and Hannah first."

Matthew didn't want to leave yet. He held Madison and requested a kiss before finally leaving the room.
