Chapter 446 Spoiled Like a Princess

After the wedding photos were taken, the preparations for the wedding were almost complete. Like Matthew and Madison's wedding, theirs was also set to be held at the Imperial Hotel, but without such strict security measures.

After taking a shower, Willow sat cross-legged on the bed, watching as items on the task list were crossed off one by one. With only half a month left until the wedding, she felt a sudden wave of nervousness.

She and Mitchell were really getting married.

Mitchell came out of the bathroom after his shower and saw Willow sitting on the bed, head down, engrossed in something on her phone.

The overhead lights in the room were off, with only the bedside lamp on, casting a warm yellow glow that made Willow look like a cozy hearth in winter.

As the weatherturned colder, both of them wore long-sleeved pajamas. The pajamas were a gift from Daniel, it was given during the dinner when their parents were discussing the wedding details—it was a matching, silk couple's set that was very comfortable.

Willow heard the footsteps and looked up, immediately seeing Mitchell standing by the bed. Both of them had gentle smiles on their faces.

"What are you looking at?" Mitchell asked in a low voice.

"The task list," Willow replied as she smiled and held up her phone, showing the screen to Mitchell.

He squinted at it for a moment before she took it back.

Mitchell saw that the phone's memo was filled with detailed tasks related to their wedding, each carefully listed and checked off once completed.

"Is there anything else that needs to be prepared?" Mitchell asked with a smile.

"Not much. They have already bought everything that needs to be bought, and it's all at home," Willow tilted her head in thought and said, "Oh, we still need to confirm the guest list. Your Mom called this afternoon and asked us to go back tomorrow night to confirm some names."

"Alright, we'll go after work tomorrow," Mitchell replied as he nodded in agreement. He had some business friends that he wanted to invite that Jessica hadn't met yet.

"So, should we go to bed early now? Or..." Mitchell's eyes had a dangerous glint, causing Willow to quickly put down her phone, lift the covers, and lie down, closing her eyes.

Willow quickly replied, "Going to sleep now." Her actions were swift and decisive.

Mitchell couldn't help but laugh at Willow, who had wrapped herself up in the bed.

He then remembered something important—they should get their marriage license before the wedding. It seemed that everyone had been so happy during the meeting with their parents that they forgot about this.

Maybe they should go tomorrow and get the marriage license. Because he was already impatient and couldn't wait any longer.

Mitchell gently turned off the bedside lamp and lay down. Soon, he heard Willow's even breathing. She had been exhausted lately, juggling work and helping Jessica with the wedding preparations.

Although Jessica and Daniel often handled the other tasks, Willow had to be present for dress fittings and measurements. Jessica always respected her opinions, presenting her with a few options to choose from.

After all, it was a once-in-a-lifetime event, and as a fellow woman, Jessica understood that the bride's preferences were paramount. She couldn't make the final decisions herself.

Willow felt fully respected by Jessica and never worried about the mother-in-law issues that some of her colleagues discussed.

Jessica had watched her grow up and treated her with affection even before she and Mitchell got together. So, she felt no pressure regarding their relationship.

Willow was grateful that God had given her Mitchell, such wonderful in-laws and a great sister-in-law. She often thought that she must have done many good deeds in her past life to be this fortunate.

The next day, she was woken up by her alarm as usual.

When she groggily opened her eyes and sat up, she saw Mitchell adjusting his clothes in front of the mirror. He seemed to have gotten up a long time ago and now stood there in a well-fitted suit, looking incredibly handsome.

Willow admired this about him.

Despite often going to bed earlier than Mitchell, she struggled to wake up in the morning without an alarm, often oversleeping.

However, Mitchell, as if programmed by an internal clock, would wake up at 6:30 a.m. every day without any need for an alarm, showcasing his incredible self-discipline—a stark contrast to her.

She loved to sleep in.

She remembered when they first started living together, she felt embarrassed and set her alarm early to get up with him, only to yawn constantly in the car.

One time, Mitchell turned off her alarm and let her sleep in. She woke up much later, panicked at having overslept, only to find Mitchell coming in from outside.

He smiled and reassured her, "Don't worry, I got you a half-day off. I've noticed you yawning in the car every morning and afternoon; you haven't been sleeping well, have you?"

Willow blushed at the time, as getting up early made her very sleepy.

Mitchell took her hand and said earnestly, "Willow, you don't need to change anything for me—not your preferences or habits. So don't get up early just for me; stick to your usual routine. I love you just the way you are, including your habit of sleeping in. I find it very cute."

Willow remembered staring at him with a red face, realizing that her little secret of getting up early to match his schedule had been discovered, making her feel a bit embarrassed.

"So don't change your habits just because you've moved in with me. Don't burden yourself with these thoughts. It's unnecessary," Mitchell said, pulling her into a hug.

It was this moment that dispelled any initial shyness and nervousness she had. She realized that trying to adapt was only temporary; showing her true self was the only way to see if they were really compatible.

To her surprise, even after revealing all her bad habits, Mitchell didn't mind them at all and pampered her even more. Sometimes, she felt a bit spoiled.

After all, which girl didn't want to be a cherished princess?

With Mitchell, Willow truly felt like she was being treated like a princess.
