Chapter 274 A Shrimp Feast for Three

Hearing Willow invite Mitchell to eat shrimp together, Jimmy didn't wait for his reply and eagerly said, "President Jonah probably can't handle street food like this. Willow, let's go." He prepared to pull Willow away.

Before Willow could understand what was happening, Mitchell grabbed her other hand. She could only hear Mitchell smirking and saying, "I don't have a different stomach than you guys. There's nothing I can't handle in terms of food." Then, as if deliberately showing off to Jimmy, he paused for a moment and continued, "Willow loves eating these. She would secretly go out to eat with Daniel in the past, thinking I didn't know." Upon hearing Mitchell's words, Jimmy became so angry that he wanted to lash out, but he restrained himself.

One man held onto one of Willow's arms, one mature and steady, refined and gentle. The other was youthful, radiating sunshine and charisma, each with their charming qualities. The two men looked at each other, their lips pressed together, silent. Willow awkwardly stood between them. Fortunately, the rush hour had passed, or else if everyone saw the three of them pulling and tugging at each other in the lobby, it would probably make tomorrow's headlines on JK Group's news.

Willow had always known that Mitchell didn't eat junk food or street food, so she and Daniel used to eat secretly. For some reason, they would always get caught by Mitchell, who would then criticize them sternly, ending with the phrase "never again." After the scolding, he would still wait for them to finish eating and then drive Willow home. After a while, Willow and Daniel would sneak out to eat again when they felt hungry. Willow couldn't help but feel torn as she watched the two men holding onto her arm tightly. She stole a glance at Mitchell and wondered why he suddenly seemed so childish today. Finally, she suggested in a tentative tone, "How about we go together and have some shrimp?"

"Sure," the two men said in unison before simultaneously letting go of Willow's arm and walking ahead. Mitchell's car was parked near the entrance today. He pressed the unlock button from afar. "I'll drive. Your motorcycle is too dangerous," he said. Jimmy huffed in response. He didn't want to get in Mitchell's car, but he also didn't want Willow to ride alone with him. He knew that he would have to ride his bike alone if he didn't get in the car. In the end, he compromises and gets into the backseat with Willow, treating Mitchell as the driver. Mitchell didn't pay much attention to his immature behavior. After he sat in the driver's seat and started the car, he didn't drive for a while. Jimmy leaned in and asked, "President Jonah, why aren't we leaving yet?"

"I don't know the address of the restaurant. Why don't you drive?" Mitchell said leisurely. Upon hearing this, Willow hurriedly suggested, "How about I sit in the front and navigate? Jimmy, send me the address."

Jimmy stopped Willow from opening the car door and angrily said, "I'll sit in the front. We don't need navigation. I'll guide President Jonah." After speaking, he opened the back door, got out, and sat in the passenger seat.

Only then did Mitchell slowly drive away.

Actually, Jimmy mentioned that the shrimp restaurant was not a street food stall. It had a large storefront and was very crowded. It was only half an hour away from the JK Group. When Willow and the others arrived, many people were already waiting outside. Willow thought they might have to wait for a long time and wouldn't be able to eat today. Mitchell stood by her side, slightly shielding her from the hustle and bustle of people passing by. He frowned slightly as he looked around. The restaurant seemed clean, but there were just too many people. He was thinking of going somewhere else to eat, but Jimmy led them all the way inside and into a private room. It turned out that he had already made a reservation in advance.

Three people sat down in a private room, and Boss turned on the air conditioning and warmly greeted them. "Have a seat and have a cup of tea. The shrimp will be served soon." After Boss left, Willow turned to Jimmy and said, "You're quite clever. You knew to reserve a table in advance; otherwise, we probably wouldn't have been able to eat tonight."

Jimmy looked somewhat smug as he glanced at Mitchell. "I come to this place often. I know there's always a long line, so I not only reserved a table in advance, but I also pre-ordered the dishes. They'll be served soon, and we can start eating."

Just as he finished speaking, the waiter arrived with several plates of shrimp. Jimmy ordered three different flavors and called for two draft beer pitchers. Mitchell didn't let Willow drink, so he and Jimmy solely consumed the two pitchers of beer. By the end of the dinner, both Mitchell and Jimmy were a bit dizzy. Jimmy was even worse, with a flushed face and unsteady stance. Despite feeling a bit lightheaded himself, Mitchell, who ran a bar, was able to maintain a calm appearance and walk straight without any signs of being drunk.

Mitchell paid the bill in the end, as both men had consumed alcohol. Willow took over the driving duty, making sure to drop Jimmy off at his dorm before the doors closed. Since Willow couldn't enter the women's dorm, Mitchell helped Jimmy up. Willow waited by the car for about ten minutes before Mitchell finally came down.

She hurriedly went up to him, grabbing hold of him. "Mitchell, are you okay?" Willow had some understanding of Mitchell's alcohol tolerance. Normally, outsiders wouldn't be able to tell if he had been drinking, but only when he was with their small group would Mitchell show a side that others hadn't seen before. She knew that his current condition meant he was feeling dizzy.

Mitchell shook his head and said, "I'm fine." Willow gently supported him as he sat down in the car, and then she went around to the driver's seat. After getting in the car, she saw Mitchell with his eyes closed, leaning against the chair. Willow carefully called out, "Mitchell." When there was no response from Mitchell, she got closer and said, "Mitchell, you haven't fastened your seatbelt." After a while, she finally heard Mitchell's voice. "Can you help me fasten it?"

Willow looked at Mitchell, who still had his eyes closed as if he were asleep. She had to bend over and lean forward, reaching over Mitchell to try and pull the seatbelt. But she couldn't pull it over, no matter how hard she tried. Willow began to feel anxious and pulled with more force. However, she lost her balance and ended up falling on top of Mitchell, hitting her head on his chest. It was a bit painful, and Willow couldn't help but make a sound.

The impact awakened Mitchell, and he opened his eyes to see a figure before him, along with a faint aroma. Willow hurriedly climbed off him and said, "The seatbelt wouldn't buckle."

Mitchell didn't say anything, keeping his eyes fixed on Willow. He placed his right hand on her hand, which was holding the seatbelt buckle, and gently guided it to fasten.
