Chapter 290 The Sun Is Watching

Matthew had nothing more to say after Mitchell's directness. Mitchell's calm demeanor indicated that he had thought things through.

Initially, Matthew was concerned about potentially meddling in Madison's and Mitchell's affairs, so he decided to talk to Mitchell in advance. If Mitchell only saw Willow as a sister, they would not need to stay longer. They could all return to Horizon City the following day. Now that Mitchell had feelings for Willow, and Willow's feelings for him had never wavered, it seemed that they had finally found each other after all these years.

Matthew patted Mitchell's shoulder and said, "Willow is the one for me, just as Daniel is for you. Willow has been with us since she was little, and you know her well. Once a decision is made, it should be followed through."

Mitchell nodded, "I will do my best to win her over." Matthew raised an eyebrow, wondering if Mitchell was aware of Willow's feelings for him. It seemed that even the most astute person could become clueless when it came to love. With a mischievous smile, Matthew decided not to tell Mitchell. After all, wouldn't it be more meaningful for Mitchell to discover it himself? Besides, he wanted to see how the mature and stable Mitchell would pursue someone.

Mitchell looked at Matthew, puzzled. "Matthew, what's so funny?"

"Is there? Maybe I'm just happy to be going back soon," Matthew said, continuing to walk. Madison and Willow must have already returned to the room with the two kids. Mitchell followed, and they both went back to their respective rooms.

When Matthew returned to his room, he didn't see Quentin and Hannah, but he saw Madison rearranging their luggage. She left some sunscreen and insect repellent for Willow. "Madison, where are Quentin and Hannah?" Matthew looked around, making sure they weren't there and asked Madison.

Madison closed the suitcase and stood up. "They're next door. I let them take a nap, but they wouldn't sleep and kept playing with Auntie. Willow took them to her room to play."

Matthew nodded. "Let them play on the last day." As he spoke, he walked over to Madison, his eyes seemingly electrified, staring at her. Madison, with a smile on her face, looked at him, and the two of them stared at each other, smiling foolishly.

"Madison," Matthew's voice was hoarse and full of affection.

"Matthew," Madison responded in the same affectionate tone. This deepened Matthew's eyes, and he lowered his head to Madison's ear and asked, "When will Quentin and Hannah be back?" Madison, with a smile, avoided the heat he exhaled, her ears tickling. "I don't know."

"Then I'll go lock the door," Matthew said, and he really went to lock the room door. Madison, remembering that he hadn't come back with Mitchell for a while, eagerly pulled Matthew and asked, "What did you and Mitchell talk about just now? How was it? Is there a possibility that Mitchell and Willow will get together?"

Matthew looked at Madison, who was excited and helplessly picked her up and put her on the bed. "Madison, don't you think it's not the right time to discuss other things?" he said, starting to undress himself.

Madison lay on the bed, her waterfall-like black hair scattered on the white sheets, the strong contrast between black and white, which stimulated Matthew's senses even more. It was a picturesque scene with her long eyelashes, slightly upturned mouth, and rosy cheeks and the sunlight shining through the window. Madison looked at Matthew as he undid his shirt, revealing the scar on his chest and the mermaid line. She didn't expect him to really do it, so she quickly covered her eyes and said loudly, "It's still daytime."

Matthew looked at the shy person under him, his hands didn't stop, and he quickly took off his shirt, leaving his upper body naked. With his hands on either side of Madison, he looked at her, and she was really shy. With a mischievous smile, he said, "Who said we can only do that at night?" Madison looked at him through her fingers and said in a coquettish voice, "Matthew, calm down a bit."

Matthew knelt on the bed and started to unbutton his belt directly. "How can I calm down when you're like this?"

"How about tonight?" Madison compromised and suggested postponing it until the evening. She really couldn't do it during the day. "Quentin and Hannah won't come, and I've locked the door, so don't worry," Matthew reassured her in a soft voice, but there was also a sense of inevitability.

"But someone might see us," Madison said, feeling a little depressed.

"No one will see us be good," Matthew said as he began to undress Madison.

"The sun will see us," Madison said, embarrassed, still making a last struggle. Matthew laughed directly at her words. Why didn't he notice how cute Madison was before?

"Then I'll close the curtains," Matthew said, taking a big step off the bed and pulling the curtains in the room tightly. The room instantly darkened, and the hotel's curtains were really good at blocking out the light, so you could hardly feel the sunlight outside. Matthew quickly returned to the bed after closing the curtains, gently taking Madison's hand off her eyes. "Madison, is this okay?" It was the first time Madison had seen Matthew acting coquettishly toward her. It had to be said that when a man acted coquettishly, it was really different from a woman. Madison lay on the bed in a daze. She felt that she had no autonomy now, completely at the mercy or control of others, completely consumed, and lost control.

After Matthew had his way, the two of them lay in each other's arms on the bed. Madison thought of Mitchell and Willow again and was curious about Mitchell's attitude.

"What did Mitchell say in the end?" Matthew looked at her indulgently and said, "Mitchell likes Willow and is ready to pursue her."

Madison sat up excitedly from the bed, "Really? What's the point of pursuing her? Doesn't he know that Willow likes him?"

Matthew remained calm and nodded, "Yes, he doesn't know."

"Then why didn't you tell him?" Madison was puzzled. Since Mitchell also liked Willow, why didn't she tell him right away?

"Why should I tell him? Let him go through some hardships to pursue her," Matthew said as a matter of course.
