Chapter 328 Is There One

Willow and Mitchell arrived at the mansion around 3 o'clock, still not dinner time yet. Daniel pulled Willow to his room to talk privately, leaving Mitchell behind.

Daniel took Willow back to his room, holding a tablet, and said, "Thanks, my good buddy. Mitchell will reimburse you for the gift, not spending your own money, right?" Good buddies are good buddies. Gifts can be accepted, but the buddy must never spend money.

"Matthew said he would reimburse, so feel free to accept it," Willow said with a smile.

"Great, you finally became my sister-in-law; we won't have anyone else interfering. I'm so touched." Daniel pretended to cry while hugging Willow.

"All right, in the future, when you get married, you can't have anyone else around, and can you stop calling me sister-in-law?" Willow gently patted her back to comfort her.

"Why not? Aren't you planning to marry Mitchell? Planning to abandon him?" Daniel immediately asked seriously.

"What are you thinking! It's just a bit embarrassing." Willow's face blushed slightly.

"You scared me." Daniel patted his chest, feeling unsettled, "Anyway, I've decided I'll stick with you and Mitchell in the future. You can't leave me behind." He ended with a bold statement.

"Sure, as long as I'm around, you won't go hungry," Willow promised with a smile.

"Good buddy." Daniel gave Willow a thumbs up, then leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "Willow, have you two...?"

Willow didn't immediately understand what he meant and asked, "What?"

Daniel looked disappointed, then slyly asked, "Oh, you know! About having babies."

Willow's face turned red, "No way…"

"No? Still haven't? You two didn't share a bed last night?" Daniel widened his eyes in disbelief.

"Why do you assume sharing a bed means that kind of thing will happen?" Willow awkwardly defended herself. Daniel sat on the small sofa in the room, legs crossed, one hand supporting his chin, "You're in a relationship. Isn't it normal to do something when sharing a bed? Is Mitchell not up to par?" Daniel found it abnormal to resist such urges.

"No, what nonsense are you talking about? Mitchell is perfectly fine." Willow thought about last night when they kissed on the sofa. She clearly felt a change in Mitchell's body.

"You haven't tried. How do you know?" Daniel asked shamelessly. Willow threw a pillow at him, "I'm not telling you."

"All right, let's not talk about this." Daniel saw Willow blushing intensely and wisely stopped the topic, silently wondering about Mitchell's situation, hoping he's not really inadequate.

The two chatted in the room for a while, mainly Daniel sharing gossip from the entertainment industry with Willow, who listened wide-eyed and shocked. Since Willow started dating Mitchell, they hadn't gone out together for a long time. Mitchell should compensate her with a hefty allowance for stealing her best friend and leaving her without a shopping companion.

As they chatted in the room, a knock on the door sounded. Both turned to the door to see Mitchell in casual sportswear, leaning against the door stylishly, a smile playing on his lips as his eyes landed on Willow, "What are you talking about?"

Daniel rushed to Mitchell, extending a hand with the palm up in front of him. Mitchell looked puzzled, "What's up?" Daniel boldly said, "Comfort fee, the biggest one."

"Ran out of pocket money?" Mitchell asked casually but still took out his phone to transfer money to her.

"You stole my best friend. Willow doesn't have time to go shopping with me now. Shouldn't you compensate me for mental distress?" Daniel pouted.

Mitchell looked at her with a smile, "Sure, I'll send it." He promptly transferred thirty thousand.

Daniel received a bank message, exclaimed, and hugged Mitchell, "Thanks, bro." Then she turned to Willow and thought of something, saying to Mitchell, "Bro, it's not fair to only send me money. Shouldn't Willow get some, too?" Mitchell walked past Daniel into the room, stood next to Willow, and said, as if after careful consideration, "Willow won't get any."

Daniel and Willow were both stunned. In the past, whatever Daniel could get from Mitchell, Willow would get the same amount without fail. It wasn't about the money, but both were surprised by Mitchell's direct refusal this time. Before the two could react, Mitchell took Willow's hand and said, "Because all my money belongs to Willow, she can use it as she pleases."

Daniel finally realized that she had been fed dog food in person by Mitchell... Her own brother bullying a single woman like this! Suddenly, the thirty thousand she just received didn't seem so appealing. With Willow now in control of Mitchell's finances, she looked forward to a future filled with spending.

Willow felt a bit embarrassed and wanted to free her hand. It was fine in front of Daniel, but it would be embarrassing if her uncle and aunt saw it later. However, Mitchell lightly held her hand, not too tight, not letting go.

Just as she thought Mother Jonah had come upstairs, dinner was ready. Mother Jonah called them downstairs to eat, and as the room door was open, she saw Mitchell and Willow holding hands directly across from her. She paused for a moment, then immediately smiled brightly, "Time to eat, time to eat, Willow, Auntie made your favorite grilled spare ribs. Eat more later." When Mother Jonah first heard from her daughter that her son was with Willow, she couldn't believe it. When Mitchell brought Willow back, she was still worried, wondering if her son was unwilling to follow her arrangements for blind dates or if the three of them were conspiring to deceive them. Now, seeing it with her own eyes, she finally felt relieved. The family heirloom bracelet had finally found a recipient.

Mitchell, who wasn't good at expressing his emotions, had managed to find such a great girlfriend in Willow after all these years of not dating. It turned out he had been waiting for her all this time, giving them such a big surprise.
