Chapter 10 Who Baths First
Luann Weaver's thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing.
She looked at the incoming call display and a faint smile appeared on her lips, then she answered.
"Second brother."
"My dear Sunshine baby, I heard you got married for the family's mission and compromised?"
"Did anything happen between you two?"
"Did that wild man bully you?"
Luann Weaver walked to the chair by the window and sat down, listening to the other person's words, which came out like a machine gun as usual.
"Nothing happened."
"That's good, that's good. I didn't even dare to tell our eldest brother about this. If he knew, he would definitely rush over from the United States! Isn't your second brother loyal? Hehe."
Luann Weaver made a sound.
"By the way, someone is digging up your information before you turned eighteen."
"But don't worry, the family patriarch personally gave the order, and your identity will not be revealed even a bit."
Luann Weaver kindly reminded him, "If you are willing to call me by my real name, perhaps the possibility of revealing my true identity will be lower."
"No, no, I think Sunshine sounds much better than Luann Weaver."
Just then, there seemed to be some commotion outside.
Luann Weaver didn't chat much and quickly hung up the phone with a few simple sentences.
Myron Curtis pushed the door open and entered.
Luann Weaver stood up and pointed to the room.
"Did you buy all of these?"
Myron Curtis resumed his terrifying expression, nodding his head indifferently, "If you need anything in the future, just tell John directly."
"Okay."
After dinner, the old lady urged the two of them to return to their room to rest.
Luann Weaver sat quietly in a chair, with her brows lowered, and she coughed lightly.
"Um... we performed yesterday, so we don't have to perform today, right?"
Myron Curtis raised his handsome eyes and squinted slightly, causing the scar on his face to twitch slightly, which was quite frightening.
"What are you trying to avoid?"
Luann Weaver blinked innocently, "Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?"
After Myron Curtis's reaction last night, Luann Weaver became more certain that he had obstacles in that area.
But it was fine, she had originally married him with a purpose.
It would be a good thing if these things didn't happen to her.
"Mr. Curtis, even if you have physical ailments, it doesn't matter."
"Don't worry, I don't care about these things."
The corners of Myron Curtis's mouth twitched, and he suddenly leaned forward, placing his hands on the armrest of Luann Weaver's chair, encircling her petite figure in his arms.
He lowered his gaze and his deep eyes stared at her without end, his voice hoarse.
"It seems that Miss Weaver needs me to prove something to her."
The strong masculine presence seemed to envelop the entire space, making Luann Weaver feel a bit breathless.
Her face turned red, and she pushed him away suddenly.
"No... there's no need."
A barely noticeable smile appeared on Myron Curtis's lips.
"I'll sleep in the study, you rest earlier."
After speaking, he walked towards the door.
Luann Weaver let out a sigh of relief but found that he hadn't moved at all.
"Are you having second thoughts?"
Myron Curtis remained silent for a moment, "The door is locked."
"Huh?"
Luann Weaver furrowed her brows and hurriedly tried turning the knob, remembering the suggestive smile the old lady gave her before going upstairs, she suddenly understood what she meant.
She turned her head and looked at the only large bed in the room.
Luann Weaver nervously swallowed her saliva.
They were going to share a bed on the second day of their marriage?
Myron Curtis looked at Luann Weaver's stunned expression and asked, "Do you want to wash first or should I?"
Luann Weaver felt like her tongue had tied itself in knots, and she rushed into the bathroom without a word.
Leaning against the door, Luann Weaver calmed down for a while.
After taking a hurried shower, she realized a big problem.
She had forgotten to bring pajamas in her haste to enter the room!
Luann Weaver walked to the door and called out softly, "Mr. Curtis..."
"Hmm?"
"Um... can you get me some pajamas?"
Myron Curtis got up and casually took out something from the wardrobe.
"Open the door."
The bathroom door opened slightly from inside, revealing a flawless, white arm covered in water droplets.
"Thank you."
After receiving the pajamas, Luann Weaver was about to change into them, but to her surprise, they turned out to be black lace straps!
The sheer fabric, the temptation...
Myron Curtis actually liked this kind of taste!
After hesitating for a while, Luann Weaver walked out wearing a bathrobe.
Myron Curtis frowned at her attire and said, "Didn't I give you the pajamas?"
Luann Weaver gave him a sharp glance and curtly changed the subject, "You should go shower."
After Myron Curtis went into the bathroom, Luann Weaver quickly ran to the wardrobe and took off the bathrobe.
Unexpectedly, the closed bathroom door swung open with a bang, followed by Myron Curtis's voice.
"There are no towels inside, you..."
In her line of sight, a beautiful figure suddenly appeared.
The striking contrast between the white skin and black fabric was mesmerizing.
Luann Weaver exclaimed and quickly threw the bathrobe at his head.
"What are you looking at, pervert!"
Although her words were angry, there was a hint of coquettishness in Myron Curtis's ear.
When he finished showering and came out, he found Luann Weaver already lying on the bed.
She wrapped herself tightly and took out another blanket from the wardrobe, using a pillow as a barrier in between.
Myron Curtis didn't say anything and lay down beside her.
As they breathed, a faint fragrance lingered in the air.
Myron Curtis didn't believe that having such a beautiful woman lying next to him wouldn't make him tempted, so he had to force himself to think about other things and distract himself.
Just as he was half asleep, Luann Weaver whimpered, feeling hot, and kicked off the blanket covering her.
Soon, the coolness of the air conditioning hit her, making her feel cold.
Unconsciously, she tried to grab the blanket a few times but couldn't find it, so instinctively, she moved closer to the source of heat next to her.
She hugged Myron Curtis tightly.
Myron Curtis's body stiffened immediately, and his brows furrowed.
He gently pushed Luann Weaver away, but she didn't budge.
"Let go."
"Mmm...it's warm..."
After insisting for half an hour, Myron Curtis finally got up and left, placing a teddy bear in her arms.
He spent the rest of the night sleepless.
