Chapter 277 Reconciliation

Holly exclaimed and hurried over.
"Don't move," she said. "Why is there no one taking care of you?"
Wilber suddenly started coughing, his face turning pale.
"Why are you here?" he asked.
Holly handed him a cup of hot water.
"Your parents called Luann, saying you've been missing for a few days. They were about to report it to the police," she explained.
"I found out and discovered you were here." Holly said.
"What happened, Wilber?" she asked. "We were so worried about you."
Wilber pursed his lips lightly, seeming reluctant to say anything more.
"You must tell me if something is wrong. I'm here to help," Holly insisted.
Wilber forced a bitter smile. The truth was now inevitable.
How could he bring himself to tell anyone about his suffering? Did he have to let everyone know he was no longer a normal man?
Holly, seeing Wilber's lack of spirit, fought back a smile.
Perhaps this was the rightful punishment for a villain!
"You look exhausted. Have you eaten?" she asked.
Wilber weakly replied, "I'm fine."
"Then remember to call your parents, so they won't worry," Holly said.
Wilber didn’t look at her, feeling no desire to engage in any emotional entanglement at that moment. He just wanted to rest.
Holly seemed to sense Wilber's discomfort and said, "Since you seem fine, I’ll leave at ease."
"I'll come see you in two days; take care." Holly said.
"I won't see you out. Be careful on the way back," Wilber said.
After Holly left, Wilber slowly lifted the blanket. His legs were heavily bandaged. Anger and resentment surged within him. Could the Curtis family be so arrogant? Are they so arrogant that they could easily decide someone's life? If it weren't for his luck and the doctor has a little humanity, he would have died that night in the factory.
He had been rescued after several hours of emergency treatment, but he could never be a complete man again. How would he face the days ahead?
"Wilber!" Juliet's voice spread.
Wilber quickly adjusted the blanket. Juliet rushed in, crying, and threw herself into Wilber's arms, accidentally pressing on his injuries, causing him great pain. "Get up!"
Juliet, sensing his anger, quickly stood up, tears filling her eyes as she looked at him, at a loss.
"Wilber, where are you hurt? What's wrong?" Juliet asked.
Just as Holly left, now Juliet arrived.
Wilber felt extremely anxious and unsettled.
"You should go back." Wilber said.
"Wilber, I won't leave" "I want to stay here with you," she insisted. Juliet was now in a dilemma, without anyone to rely on.
If she could go back to Wilber, the Gilbert family could be considered a support. Something was better than nothing. Wilber tried to endure his discomfort.
"You're different now, you’re a star," he said. If someone take our picture and it gets out, it won't be good for your reputation."
"Are you worried about me? Wilber," Juliet's eyes filled with expectation and moved. "You don't know how excessive Luann has been this time." Juliet said.
"Don't mention her again!" Wilber hastily interrupted, his chest heaving with urgency. If it weren't for Grace's action, he wouldn’t have become a scapegoat. And Luann was well aware of Grace's methods. But she didn’t tell him!
If Luann had informed him, how could he have fallen into Grace's trap and experience such bad things?
He wouldn't have become such a half-disabled person he was now! Luann destroyed his lifelong happiness!
He was still feeling guilty about everything he had done to Luann.
But after this incident, Wilber also understood. This Luann is really a heartless woman.
They were together for two years! She was so cruel!
She really didn't care at all. She didn't pull him up, even she became the pusher of the other party. How could Wilber not hate her?
Juliet blinked in confusion. Although she didn't know what had happened, but she clearly felt Wilber's hostility toward Luann.
"Okay, I won't mention" Juliet said.
"Wilber, you have to get better soon."
Wilber weakly nodded, paused, and suddenly grabbed Juliet's hand. "Juliet, you’re the best"
Juliet smiled. "Of course, as long as you need me, I will definitely come."
Wilber's heart was filled with warmth. "Juliet, will you always be by my side?"
"Of course." Juliet's tone was particularly firm.
"Wilber is the person I love the most, and nothing will ever separate us."
Wilber's injured heart felt comforted. He thought that Juliet should be the only one who wouldn't despise him.
"Thank you," Wilber said. "I shouldn't curse you because of Luann before, and I shouldn't have doubted your feelings for me."
"It's okay, Wilber. We’ll be fine in the future." Juliet reached out her hands and hugged Wilber into her arms.
A proud smile spread across her lips.
In a cafe near the hospital, Luann and Holly sat face to face.
"Juliet really couldn't wait. As soon as she received the news, she rushed over," Holly said, sipping her coffee.
"She has always wanted to stay by Wilber's side. How could she let go of such a good opportunity?"
Luann's movement was elegant and noble, exuding a beautiful aura. "
If she knew that Wilber would never be able to perform as a man in the future, would she still be so eager to stay by his side? Just the thought of that scene made Holly extremely excited.
"Luann, should we tell Juliet the truth?"
Luann's face remained calm but her words were cut.
"Don't you think it would be better to expose it until Wilber is deeply in love with Juliet and can't do without her?"
"
