Chapter 242 Romantic Movies

After finishing their meal, the beggar finally left. Joshua drove Luann back to the villa. Neither of them spoke during the entire journey. Upon arriving, Luann finally spoke, "By the way, remember to double-check the gems in the factory tomorrow."

Joshua's eyes widened. "Got it."

"Don't slack off, I'll test you," Luann said before getting out of the car and leaving.

In the living room, Myron sitting on the sofa, asked, "Joshua brought you back?"

"Yeah." Luann walked over, smiling lightly as she sat next to Myron, her hands hooked around his neck.

"Jealous?"

"No." Luann chuckled lightly.

"And where's grandma?" The sudden visit from Grandma today caught her off guard. She didn't expect Grandma to protect her like this. It warmed her heart.

"She's in the kitchen making soup." Luann stood up, intending to go there, but Myron caught her wrist.

With a sudden force, Luann fell into his arms, sitting on his lap.

Luann looked at the kitchen in panic, lightly pounding Myron's chest. "What are you doing? What if Grandma sees?" Myron's face darkened, slightly displeased. "Are you going to thank Grandma?"

"Yes."

"Why don't you thank me?"

Luann giggled. She reached out and pinched Myron's cheeks. "Mr. Curtis, why are you jealous of everything?"

Myron's voice became hoarse, "I don't care, I want it too."

Luann nuzzled against his shoulder, lightly laughing. "Yeah, my husband is the best."

Grandma walked out of the kitchen and saw this scene. She immediately exclaimed, "Oh my!"

Startled, Luann jumped up and obediently stood aside, her cheeks turning red.

"You can continue. I didn't see anything."

"Grandma..."

"The soup is still stewing in the kitchen, I can't leave it alone. I won't come out for an hour, you two can do whatever you want!" Grandma's suggestive words made Luann want to find a hole to hide in.

After Grandma went back, Luann glared at Myron with complaints in her eyes.

Myron chuckled softly, repeating, " I won't come out for an hour."

"Go away." Luann stayed two meters away from Myron, keeping a safe distance.

She turned on the TV. "What do you want to watch?"

Luann casually picked a variety show, to which a male group was invited. Seven or eight good-looking boys were dancing, looking cool and chic.

Luann couldn't help but take a few more glances.

"Do you find them attractive?" Luann hadn't responded yet when she saw these twenty-something boys make a bold move, lifting their slightly loose clothes to reveal their perfect abs.

"Was it their six-pack abs that looked good, or mine?"

Luann turned off the TV.

"Yours," she replied.

Myron finally felt satisfied.

After a while, his phone rang.

Myron picked up the phone and casually responded with a few sentences.

Luann leaned over and saw that someone had sent him a livestream link, asking him to take a look.

As soon as he clicked on it, he saw a popular but unsigned host dancing provocatively in revealing attire.

Luann asked softly, "Is she prettier or am I prettier?"

Myron remained silent.

Myron quickly closed the link and, when Luann wasn't paying attention, replied, "Don't send me these kinds of people in the future."

"Oh? President, what should we do about our spokesperson then..."

Myron didn't reply.

The two of them sat there for an hour.

Doing nothing.

When the old lady came out, she felt that something was off.

She quietly called John, the butler, and asked, "What happened just now?"

John was a bit puzzled, "What?"

"Did my grandson and granddaughter-in-law do something intimate?"

John awkwardly smiled and said, "No, they...just sat there and did nothing."

The old lady's expression immediately turned dark. "They did nothing? Such a good opportunity and they did nothing?"

John sweated.

After all, he was quite old. How could he use the tone of a gossiping teenage girl?

"No way. My grandson has never been in a relationship before, so he definitely doesn't know how to seize the moment."

"I have to help him."

After finishing their meal, Myron and Luann went back to their room for a short nap.

Just as Myron woke up, the old lady called him away.

The old lady was secretive and closed the door gently.

"What are you doing?" Myron asked.

The old lady shushed him and, as if presenting a treasure, took out a stack of something from the drawer.

"What's this?" Myron furrowed his brow and discovered that it was a stack of...DVDs?

A feeling of nostalgia washed over him.

Seeing Myron's somewhat disgusted expression, the old lady immediately became unhappy.

"I spent a lot of effort to find these! They are precious! They're out of print!"

Myron nodded. "So what is it?"

The old lady cleared her throat.

"It's a collection of romantic movies. They're perfect for newlyweds to watch together and deepen their bond."

"Take them and watch them with Luann tonight!"

Myron accepted them.

"Oh right, there's also this."

The old lady took three books off the bookshelf.

"Read them carefully! They'll be helpful to you!"

Myron hung his head, feeling somewhat speechless.

What were these?

"How to Make Your Wife's Heart Race with a Hundred Little Tricks," "The Art of Getting Along Between Husband and Wife," "How to Attract the Attention of Your Beloved Woman."

"Learn it, watch it, experiment with it! It will surely be of great use to you and Luann in your relationship!"

Myron let out a long sigh. "Okay."

Seeing him agree, the old woman dropped her heart.

"Uh-huh, then there's nothing else to do, you go and keep Luann company."

"By the way, the movie must be watched!"

"Okay."

Myron returned to his room and silently placed the three books at the bottom of the cabinet, intending to seal them permanently.

‘A good movie for grandma, it must be from the sixties or seventies.’

Myron thought about it and decided that he should still look for good ones online, so he casually placed the disks on his bedside.

Luann woke up when Myron was no longer in the room.

She stretched and got out of bed slowly.

"Huh? What's this?"

Luann picked up the plates on the nightstand and realized that there was a piece of paper taped to each box.

[Literary romance movie for couples].

‘Literary?’

There must be no cute guys.

She could take a look.

"It's probably because Myron is afraid that I'll look at cute guys again, so he found the disks especially?"

Luann thought about it and thought it was the only possibility.

The door of the room was knocked gently, and a servant said at the door, "Ma'am, are you awake? Ms. Weiss is here."
