After a kiss, Luann's face turned red, and she pulled the blanket over her head.
"Alright, you should go out quickly and not disturb my rest," Myron said.
He poured another cup of warm water into a thermos, "The water is on the bedside table."
"I got it."
With a slight smile, Myron quietly walked out of the room.
Downstairs, Eddy was passionately accusing Myron of his recent actions of prioritizing love over friendship.
Holly said, "He's just being attentive to his wife."
Eddy fell silent instantly.
"I'm attentive to my wife too."
Cracking sunflower seeds, Holly smirked and said, "How many women have you said that to?"
Eddy was about to respond.
Myron interjected, "Not many, probably just a few hundred."
Eddy exclaimed, gritting his teeth, "You're causing harm!"
Looking at Holly with a pitiful expression, Eddy said, "I've truly changed this time. If you don't believe me, you can test me!"
Holly tossed a pack of pistachios to Eddy, "Then start peeling some to show your sincerity."
Eddy happily accepted and began peeling.
After peeling for a while, his fingers started to hurt.
Finally, he peeled some and handed them to Holly.
"This is something I did by myself..."
Before he could finish, Holly put them all in her mouth, chewed a few times, and swallowed.
"Such a small amount was not enough. Keep peeling."
Eddy was stunned, "I peeled for twenty minutes, and you finished it in one bite?"
"No more nonsense. You were so sweet just now, but now you don't want to peel anymore?" Holly shot him a cold look.
Eddy's confidence wavered, "Can't I continue..."
Seeing him about to bite the pistachio, Holly quickly stopped him.

Myron pondered for a moment.
"The number of rivals is increasing."
Suppressing a smile, Holly said, "That's true, but Luann probably thinks the same way. Look at your face now, so handsome and charming, incredibly attractive. You're captivating thousands of girls!"
Eddy, feeling indignant, immediately grabbed Holly's face, forcing her to look at him.
"I'm the same age as Myron, why does he get all the flattering descriptions while I turn into an old man?"

Eddy nodded.
Holly bantered, "You're in such a rush to grow up!"

Eddy's phone suddenly rang.
It was Alan calling.
"Ann is back from abroad. I've invited her for dinner tonight, you should come too."
Expressionless, Eddy replied, "You invited Ann, why should I go?"
"Eddy! You’ll better comply when I call you back, no more nonsense!"
"I say I won't come. You're the one talking nonsense."
After saying that, Eddy hung up.
While absentmindedly eating pistachios, Holly's ears perked up, eavesdropping on their conversation.
Coming over to boast, Eddy said, "Look at me being so obedient. I refuse decisively!"
Holly replied indifferently, "Whether you refuse or not has nothing to do with me, go if you want to. It's none of my business."
Upon saying that, Holly got up and went to the bathroom.
Eddy looked forlornly at Holly's back, seeking help from Myron.
Myron was casually flipping through a magazine.
Without looking up, he noticed Eddy's gaze.
"Aren't you quite experienced?"
"And when did you have trouble getting a woman?" Myron said.
Eddy's mouth twitched.
"At least when you were pursuing Luann, I helped you a lot, right?"
"Now that I'm facing difficulties, but you mock me like this?"
Closing the magazine, Myron nodded thoughtfully.
Standing up, he said, "Come with me."
Eddy followed.
Myron went into the bedroom and retrieved several books from the bottom drawer.
After carefully wiping them clean, he handed them to Eddy.
"Don't mention it."
As Eddy looked at the titles, he was puzzled.

Unperturbed, Myron said, "Haven't you two already been intimate?"

Clearing his throat, he said, "Yes..."

Gritting his teeth, Eddy said, "I want your help with ideas! Holly is obviously a soft-hearted person. If she really didn't like me, she wouldn't allow me to be around her all the time!"
"Don't you already know what to do?" Myron's gaze was cold.
Confused, Eddy asked, "What do you mean?"
"You said Holly is soft-hearted, so find an opportunity to make her speak her mind." Myron's lips curled coolly, "Go back for the evening family dinner."
Eddy was stunned.
"But I just..."
Before he could finish, Eddy understood Myron's meaning.
They exchanged a glance with a mischief.
"Alright, Myron, that's a good plan!"
When Holly emerged from the bathroom, she found only Myron sitting on the sofa.
After snacking on pistachios for a while, she hadn't seen Eddy.
Unable to resist, she asked, "Where did he go?"
Raising an eyebrow, Myron asked, "Who are you talking about?"
Holly's temples throbbed, "There are only four of us here. Luann is upstairs sleeping. We're the only two here, who do you think?"
Perplexed, Myron asked, "Who?"
Through gritted teeth, Holly spat out, "Eddy!"
"He went home," Myron replied nonchalantly.
Surprised, Holly almost jumped off the sofa, "Home? Didn't Eddy just refuse? Why did he go back? Did his dad call again?"
Calmly, Myron said, "Didn't you say it yourself? Eddy goes where he wants, and it's none of your business."
"So he just went?" Holly was furious.
'Just a moment ago, he professed his affection for me . But with a turn of his head, he was already gone? Outrageous!' she pondered.
