Chapter 30 A Little Lesson

Luann Weaver glanced at him indifferently, a hint of mockery in the corner of her eyes, a smirk.
"When it comes to cruelty, your daughter cannot compare to you."
These meaningful words made Mike Weaver's body suddenly stiff!
Could it be...
Luann Weaver knew about her mother's secret?
Impossible!
He had been so discreet, and it had been so many years.
How could it be...
Luann Weaver clenched the toothbrush tightly, vigorously scouring Juliet Weaver's mouth.
Soon, blood began to seep from Juliet Weaver's mouth.
"Sister, remember to brush your teeth well before going out in the future."
A glass of water was poured into Juliet Weaver's mouth.
Mixed with toothpaste foam and a strong smell of blood, it rushed into her throat.
Juliet Weaver instantly felt nauseous and wanted to vomit, but Luann Weaver covered her mouth and forced her to swallow it!
Her makeup had long been ruined, tears covering her face, and her nose was running.
Her lips were swollen and red, her eyes smudged with mascara, and her whole body was trembling uncontrollably.
Especially disheveled.
The moment she was released, Juliet Weaver collapsed weakly on the ground.
Luann Weaver took off her disposable gloves and threw them at her face.
"Eat it back the way you vomited it out."
Juliet Weaver immediately tightly sealed her mouth!
This lunatic Luann Weaver...
She could definitely do such things!
"Throw them out."
Bang!
Juliet Weaver and Mike Weaver were ruthlessly thrown out of the door.
Inside the house, Luann Weaver apologized to Vincenzo Norman with a smile.
"Sorry for the spectacle you witnessed."
Vincenzo Norman shook his head.
Laughed and said, "I already learned about your family matters from your brother's mouth a long time ago. So what I see today is not surprising at all."
Luann Weaver smiled lightly and nodded, picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder.
"It's getting late, so I'll head home."
"Yes, well... I hope you can consider my suggestion. I really want you to join me in this performance. You know, it's my last appearance in the music industry."
Luann Weaver paused her steps.
"I will consider it."
When leaving, Luann Weaver noticed Juliet Weaver holding onto Mike Weaver's arm, trying to pull him up from the ground.
Luann Weaver kindly asked, "Do you need me to call an ambulance for you?"
Juliet Weaver shivered, tears silently streaming down her face, but she dared not say anything offensive again.
"Not necessary, I'll leave then."
Luann Weaver lifted her steps and accidentally stepped on Juliet Weaver's foot as she walked past.
"Ah!"
Juliet Weaver winced in pain, her facial features contorted, but it was mostly the humiliation in her heart.
She took out her phone and dialed Wilber Gilbert's number.
"Wilber, sob..."
...
Downtown hospital.
"Phoo..."
Wilber Gilbert took a deep breath, a thin layer of sweat faintly shimmering on his forehead.
He casually threw his suit to the left and pushed open the partially closed ward door.
Juliet Weaver was in the final stage of dressing her wounds, and upon hearing the commotion, she turned her head in grievance, making sobbing sounds.
Wilber Gilbert embraced her tightly, anxiously asking the doctor, "How is she?"
The doctor put down the cotton swab.
"The patient has multiple injuries in the oral cavity, gum lacerations. She also drank a significant amount of toothpaste water, so although gastric lavage is not necessary, it may cause abdominal pain and diarrhea."
Wilber Gilbert's expression became serious.
Juliet Weaver's condition was much worse than he had imagined — a swollen and cracked sausage-like mouth, covered in layers of medication, with saliva flowing out while speaking.
"What happened? Why did you and your father get injured like this?"
"I just came back from the operating room. Uncle has a fractured hip, but fortunately, it's not too serious."
Juliet Weaver cried and wailed, telling Wilber Gilbert about the incident.
Wilber Gilbert, after listening, was extremely surprised.
"Are you telling the truth?"
Luann Weaver may be a bit heartless at times, but she wouldn't do something like this, would she?
Juliet Weaver nodded anxiously, wanting to add some more details, but her mouth was too painful to speak.
So she took out her phone and rapidly typed out words to show him, with exclamation marks emphasizing her emotional state.
"Of course, it's true! Sister confronted us at Vincenzo Norman’s hotel room and insulted us right in our face!"
"Vincenzo Norman didn't say a word from beginning to end, clearly indicating a close relationship with my sister!"
Wilber Gilbert pressed his thin lips tightly, his face showing a thoughtful expression.
Juliet Weaver added another sentence and brought the screen closer to his eyes.
"I guess she must have hooked up with Vincenzo Norman! Otherwise, why would he protect her like this!"
"Wilber, this time our sister has gone too far!"
"She can bully me, but why does she have to treat our father like this!"
Wilber Gilbert pinched his forehead and disappointedly said, "I never expected that she would turn out to be such a person."
Just at that moment, someone pushed the door open from outside.
Brianna rushed in anxiously, her face full of worry.
"Juliet, are you okay?"
Juliet Weaver saw her coming, turned her head to the side, and ignored her.
Wilber Gilbert gently patted her shoulder and answered with a sympathetic voice.
"Aunt, don't worry, Juliet is fine."
"Since you're here, I can go check on Uncle. He has been transferred to the ward on the third floor."
"Alright."
Brianna sat down in front of the hospital bed and reached out to hold Juliet Weaver's hand.
But unexpectedly, Juliet Weaver pulled her hand back.
She spoke in a sarcastic and difficult tone.
"Now, are you satisfied?"
"It was that woman you desperately protected who made Dad and I end up like this!"
"Sometimes I really don't understand, are you my mom or Luann Weaver's mom?"
Juliet Weaver shouted angrily.
Her throat was burning, as if torn apart.
Brianna's expression visibly turned sad. She sighed deeply and advised earnestly.
"Juliet, you can't be like this."
"You are your father's child, but she is too."
"Besides, she lost her mother at a young age, and even her grandmother passed away."
"Perhaps in this world, your father is her last relative."
"How much of pain must she be in if even the people closest to her treat her badly?"
