Chapter 285 A Long Delay may Cause Trouble

After a kiss, Luann's face blushed, and her eyes were watery.

Luann advised, "To make it up to you, let's go for a late-night snack."
"Really?" Myron said.
"Yes." Luann assured him.
"I want to go to the one that I just went to." Myron replied.
"Sure, let's go." Luann nodded.
Luann didn't change her clothes; she wore a simple white short-sleeved shirt and cropped pants paired with a simple small bag and went out with Myron.
Before getting out of the car, Myron tore off the scar on his face.
"Why aren't you wearing it?" Luann asked.
Myron explained, "Don't want to wear it, stuffy, a bit hot inside."
The scar stuck to his face, making him somewhat uncomfortable.
Not long after they entered, a car parked not far away.
"Is that Myron's car?"
Juliet sat in the car, staring at the luxurious silver Koenigsegg parked on the side of the road. Only six were produced globally in this style.
It was enviable and jealous.
"This Luann, she's been quiet these days; even private detectives can't find her whereabouts, I didn't expect to run into her."
Juliet originally had things to do, but she was willing to waste some time waiting.
After a while, Luann and Myron finally walked out of the restaurant.
"You're sweating."
Luann took out a handkerchief from her bag and gently wiped the fine sweat off him.
Myron smiled, bending slightly, enjoying this wonderful service.
"Okay." Luann patted his face.
Myron's gaze followed the roadside. "There's a coffee shop and desserts. Do you want to eat?"
At the mention of desserts, Luann's eyes lit up.
"Sure!"
Myron reminded, "Then wait here, I'll go buy."
"Okay."
Just across the street, Myron came back quickly.
He held an iced coffee in one hand and a dessert in the other. He handed them to Luann.

Luann took a bite, closing her eyes in contentment like a lazy and noble cat.
"Is it good?" Myron asked softly, his voice husky.
"Delicious, you try," Luann said, reluctantly taking another bite before handing it to him.
Unexpectedly, Myron's hand suddenly wrapped around her waist, unceremoniously lowering his head.
He domineeringly and forcefully plundered her lips, giving her no chance to resist, taking her by surprise.
Blushing, her ears turned red in an instant.
Only when all the coldness dissipated, leaving only warmth did Myron leave her lips.
He nodded in satisfaction. "Delicious."
Inside the car, Juliet covered her mouth in shock, one hand trembling as she recorded everything that had just happened.
"Luann is so bold!"
"She actually drove Myron's car out, openly being so intimate with the person who financially supports her on the street!"
Although her private life was also quite chaotic.
However, when she was with Wilber, she was intentionally careful and didn't let Wilber find any flaws.
She thought Luann would be the same as her.
Juliet didn't expect that Luann would be so shameless!
Juliet thought, 'Disgusting!'
That man looks so perfect; those beautiful lips should be kissing her; how could he kiss Luann?
Juliet saved the video, started the car, and headed towards the the North family.
With this evidence, Luann could be kicked out of the Curtis family.
It seemed it was time to take action!
A loud knocking sounded, and the servant opened the door.
Juliet rushed in, bumping into Ally.
Juliet shouted, "Ally! I found evidence of Luann and the person who financially supports her! And a video! As long as we..."
"Shh!" Ally quickly covered Juliet's mouth.
"My brother is at home; keep it down."
"Come, let's go upstairs."
"Okay."
In the room, Juliet told Ally everything she had just seen in detail.
After listening, Ally's mouth curved into a satisfied smile.
"This time, Luann is definitely going to be kicked out of the Curtis family."
Juliet's eyes were firm. She asked, "Should we take action now?"
"With such solid evidence, we should act quickly to avoid prolonged dreams." Ally smiled with a hint of revenge. "Besides, I've longed to see Luann being scolded to tears by the Curtis family people."
"She always acts cold and indifferent in front of me, and Myron always favors her, letting her roam freely in the Curtis family!"
"This time, I want to see how she explains this!"
Ally grabbed Juliet's hand, her eyes filled with madness.
"It looks like we're going to work late tonight. I'll invite everyone from the Upper West Side over and let them all know how this Luann, who's thriving online and admired by everyone, is actually a dirty and despicable person!"
Listening to her, Juliet felt excited from head to toe.
She nodded excitedly. "Great!"
Ally stood up and had the servant bring more invitations; the more, the better.
"Go buy more; the more, the better."
Watching her actions, Juliet's smile grew wider.
"Ally, why don't we go all the way with this?"
Ally's gaze met hers.
Juliet looked like a snake baring its fangs.
"How about a live broadcast?"
"Although Luann is at fault, it will also embarrassed the Curtis family."
"As long as the Curtis family wants, no one from the Upper West Side will say a word."
"But with a live broadcast, they won't be able to stop it even if they try."
Ally raised her eyebrows, her smile gradually widening.
"Your idea is excellent."
"Next, let's see how Luann will end this drama."
...
The red invitations were quickly sent to every corner of the Upper West Side.
Even the small families that were usually ignored were all invited.
Luann picked up the invitation from the table, looking puzzled.
"What is the the North family up to? Celebrating Peter's return? He's been back for a while now; why have a banquet now?"
John smiled and said, "Mr. North has rarely been in the country since he was young. I suppose this time is to introduce him to everyone formally."
"And the the North family has invited quite a few people."
"Ms. Weaver, you and Mr. Curtis should go too."
Luann looked at the banquet date.
It was three days later; she hadn't left the country yet.
"As soon as Peter's name comes up, I know I have to go." Luann casually tossed the invitation aside. "With such a big show this time, I wonder what kind of trouble will arise."
John was puzzled. He explained, "Is Ms. Weaver thinking too much? Mr. North's return this time is also about inheriting the family business."
Luann smiled lightly.
Luann said casually, "He doesn't have much of a problem."
"I just don't know what Ally and Juliet are plotting behind my back."
"Holding a banquet at this time without any warning, they're obviously making a hasty decision."
"Maybe there's a trap waiting for me."
"Or maybe I'm just overthinking it."
