Chapter 25 Are you satisfied?

Luann Weaver had only one feeling.
Soft!
So it turns out that a man's lips can be so soft and sweet!
And cool, with a hint of mint fragrance.
Holly Weiss didn't deceive her!
For someone who had only been in love once and lost her first kiss at that hotel, this kiss made her completely forget her inhibitions and lose all sense of direction.
However...
Why does this kiss feel so familiar?
She stared wide-eyed in a daze, not even knowing how to respond.
Looking at Myron Curtis... his face that was so close, it did not make her feel disgusted at all.
On the contrary...
It seemed quite nice?
Luann Weaver wished she could slap herself.
You really have no spine!
Myron Curtis was very satisfied with her reaction.
He believed that he would give Luann Weaver a better night.
But what he didn't expect was...
This woman actually bit his shoulder!
A sudden pain shot through his shoulder, rushing to his brain, bringing back some clarity.
Luann Weaver showed no mercy as she bit hard.
Even through the thin shirt, she tasted the flavor of blood.
"Hiss..."
Myron Curtis took a sharp breath.
The woman in front of him was trembling uncontrollably.
He chuckled softly, not showing any signs of anger, but rather a hint of fondness.
"Fool, did I scare you?"
"Don't worry, I won't touch you."
He paused.
And added another sentence.
"Until you're ready."
Only then did Luann Weaver release her grip, and her eyes, filled with moisture, met his gaze.
Myron Curtis dared not look at her adorable appearance any longer, and quickly got up and entered the bathroom.
Luann Weaver foolishly lay on the bed for a while before finally letting out a breath she had been holding.
Her hand slowly covered her chest.
Thump-
Thump-
Thump-
Her heart was beating so fast.
When Myron Curtis came out again, it was already an hour later.
He approached the bed and found that Luann Weaver had wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, making herself look like a cocoon, exposing only a few strands of her hair.
He lay down next to her and gently poked her with his hand.
Luann Weaver silently shifted her body.
"Are you planning to let me sleep naked tonight?" Myron Curtis asked with a light laugh.
Only then did Luann Weaver poke her head out, her pitch-black eyes blinking, incredibly adorable.
Then, she handed him a corner of the blanket.
Myron Curtis grabbed it and pulled it towards himself without any hesitation.
Luann Weaver was uncontrollably pulled towards him.
With a thud.
She landed in his arms.
"You..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Luann Weaver found her hand resting on his chest.
Her fingers involuntarily pinched down.
"Satisfied?"
Luann Weaver's gaze was unfocused.
"Let go of me..."
"Even if I let go, you'll obediently come to my arms when you fall asleep. It's better if I just hold you from now."
"You're talking nonsense. How could I end up in your arms..."
Luann Weaver lacked conviction.
When she slept alone, she often hugged her teddy bear.
"Let go."
Myron Curtis released his grip.
Luann Weaver silently moved towards the edge of the bed.
Myron Curtis gently closes his eyes without any hurry.
Luann Weaver, on the other hand, initially tries to resist sleep but is soon overwhelmed by drowsiness and gradually enters the dream world.
Myron Curtis counts silently in his heart and casually lets his arm fall to the side. When he reaches one hundred, Luann Weaver turns over.
Myron Curtis reaches out with his big hand and embraces her closely into his arms. The action is so natural, as if it had been done a thousand times before.
And at the corner of his lips, a faint smile unconsciously appears.
...
Luann Weaver is woken up by a phone call. Brianna, her stepmother, speaks tenderly on the other end of the line:
"Sweetie, when are you coming back? I've been missing you. I've prepared your favorite, medium-rare steak for you."
Luann Weaver turns over lazily and yawns. "When?" she asks.
"Isn't today Saturday? I thought since you don't work, it'd be nice for you to come back for a meal," Brianna replies.
Luann Weaver glances at the clock and makes a sound of agreement. "Okay."
She still respects Brianna, despite their unrelated relationship. Since she came back, Brianna has been the only person at home who treats her well, and even better than her biological father.
Sometimes, Luann Weaver can't help but wonder how an outsider can treat her better than her own father.
That's why when Juliet Weaver used to compete with her in everything, Luann Weaver didn't bother to fight back.
But she never expected that her tolerance would make Juliet Weaver despise her to the point of having a secret affair with Wilber Gilbert for such a long time. Enough is enough.
Luann Weaver freshens up quickly and goes downstairs to have a meal. "Where's Myron Curtis?" she asks.
John respectfully replies, "Master Curtis has gone out for something."
"I'll be going to the Weaver Family home later on today," she says.
"Sure, Madam."
After finishing the meal, Luann Weaver gets into the car and heads towards Weaver Family home. As soon as she enters the living room, she hears the pleasant conversation among the three members of the Weaver family.
"Dad, did you manage to get tickets for Vincenzo Norman's concert on the Upper West Side?" she asks.
"Of course, when it's something my precious daughter likes, Dad naturally takes care of it first!" Mike Weaver smiles and takes out two invitation cards. "Here you go."
Juliet Weaver excitedly giggles and kisses him multiple times on the face. "Thank you, Dad! I love you so much!"
Brianna gently suggests, "Since there are two tickets, why don't you give the other one to Luann when she comes over later? It will be like a handshake between you sisters."
Juliet Weaver snorts lightly.
Mike Weaver held Brianna in his arms.
"Who wants to shake hands with her?! I haven't done anything wrong," Brianna reproached warmly.
"You, my child... Now that you're with Wilber Gilbert, it's inevitable that your sister will be a little heartbroken."
She naturally understood the reasons behind it.
"What does her being heartbroken have to do with me? It's Wilber who didn't want her," she retorted. "Besides, if she didn't mess around with other men, why would Wilber break up with her?"
"Isn't that right, dad?"
Mike Weaver's face became slightly unhappy.
He had never liked Luann Weaver.
If it weren't for that old lady making a big fuss before she died, he wouldn't have brought Luann Weaver back, and he would never have let her enter through the Weaver Family's doors!
"Juliet!" Brianna scolded in a low voice, "You have no respect for elders, why do you speak like that?"
Juliet Weaver had no fear of her gentle mother, instead wrinkling her nose and sticking out her tongue. "Hmph."
"Dad, how long is Vincenzo Norman staying in the Upper West Side this time?"
Mike Weaver thought for a moment. "It seems like a week, why, do you want to meet him?"
Juliet Weaver's eyes sparkled at the mention of him. "Of course, I want to apprentice under him!"
Mike Weaver laughed heartily. "Truly my good daughter, full of ambition!"
Brianna chimed in happily, "This girl has loved playing the piano since she was a child."
Talking about this, Juliet Weaver raised her chin with great pride.
She had obtained a piano Level 10 certificate before junior high!
Luann Weaver walked in.
Hearing the commotion, Juliet Weaver turned her head to glance at her, disdainfully rolling her eyes and not bothering to greet her.
On the other hand, Brianna stood up.
"Oh, you're back, come, come, come and sit down."
The smile on Mike Weaver's face disappeared without a trace, as if Luann Weaver was not his daughter but his enemy.
He glanced at the empty space behind her and spoke in an unfriendly tone.
"Why did you come back alone? Where's Myron Curtis? It's been several days since we got you married, but he hasn't come to visit."
"Why, now that you're married, you forget your roots?"
Luann Weaver sat next to Brianna and smiled lightly at Mike Weaver.
"I thought as long as the money arrived, there was no need for the person to come."
